packagerz: Remembering Alade Aromire, The Man Who Died At 45 After Changing The Face Of Yoruba Movies.
He died in 2008, 13 years ago, at the age of 45, the memory of Prince Muyideen Alade Aromire still lives on. He was one of those who transformed the face of the Yoruba movie industry.
From theatre works and magazine publication, he initiated home video production when he believed it was too costly to produce in the celluloid format where Hubert Ogunde and Baba Sala held sway.
His brilliance produced the first home video movie in Yoruba named Ekun in the third of quarter of 1988. This initiation was the beginning of what is tagged as the movie industry in Nigeria.
He also started the vernacular broadcasting cable television named Yotomi Telifisan, a household channel watched by all Nigerian.
He was a pioneer in many things and loved the masses so much that he created the first truly affordable housing estate for Nigerians known as Yotomi Golden Estate at Ofada in Mowe axis of Ogun State which led to the influx of many corporate bodies emulating his ideas.
Muyideen Alade Agboola Aromire was a family man and philanthropist. He was loved by many who knew him and those who did not meet him physically but enjoyed his programme and benefitted from his initiatives.
Muyideen Alade Agboola Aromire is survived by his wife, his children Bolaji, Suleman, Jubril, Dolapo, Bisola, Damilola and Mariam, his only grandchild.
Also known as Mr Movie sharpened his teeth in Theatre and artistic work by enrolling at the School of Arts in Apapa .
As a Brilliant chap, he was always on top of the class even when he joined halfway in the term. He demonstrated his artistic brilliance when Ariya, a vernacular magazine was created in 1986.
May he continue to rest in peace and nothing more than peace.
Do you remember him at all ?
"Okan Soso" was the first Nigerian home video movie done in1988, and then "Ekun" by the great Alade Aromire.
Chinum: What factors did you consider before choosing your spouse or partner? Many people consider appearance, income, spirituality and how this person makes them feel. The right choice enhances your prospects of living a successful life while the wrong choice can cause pain. This is why one must consider all aspects before going into a relationship with another person.
Please do not enter into a relationship with anyone without knowing if you are financially compatible. Being financially compatible means seeking to know if you fit when it comes to financial matters; it doesn’t mean that both of you make similar financial decisions. The key is to understand each other’s viewpoints when it comes to earning, saving, investing and spending money and achieving a balance.
It is imperative that you check your views on money because disagreements over money has led to many divorces and break ups today. Nearly all of us are guilty of not considering where our partner stands on money issues before taking the plunge, only to discover later that it can seriously affect the relationship.
SuzeOrman, one of America’s authorities on personal finance developed a financial compatibility quiz, published in Yahoo Finance which I have reproduced below. The rule for participation is to complete the quiz for your partner. Please go ahead to make a copy and give to your partner to also assess you:

Scoring: Now count how many of each letter you have circled and record the number below.
A____B____C____ D____E____
The letter with the largest number reveals your partner’s primary money traits.
The key:
A = Penny pincher B = SpendthriftC = GamblerD = Financial wreckE = Financial catch
Okay, so what to do with this information? Start talking. If you are far apart you need to see where you can find some common ground. I don’t care how in love you are now, or how much you insist it doesn’t matter that you are a financial catch and your partner is a financial wreck. It does matter. A lot. And the longer you are together, the more it is going to matter. Disagreements over money, a failure to have a united financial game plan, are among the biggest factors in busted relationships.
But I also want to remind you to be patient. If you are financial opposites you are not going to resolve your differences in one conversation. Still, over the course of many conversations, where you can both express your own concerns and also truly hear your partner’s, you can begin to build a financial arrangement that works for both of you. Remember that financial intimacy, like any other kind, takes time and effort.
Onegai: Mauritius Mozambique (you would have to fly to Tanzania first) Gambia (a lot of foreigners have holiday homes there)
Mozambique should be the cheapest to go to. Try and look up how foreigners plan their vacations to these spots, so you know what sights to visit and where you want to go to (unless you have a month of hols or plenty money to crisscross the country). Also, you will get tips on what to do and what to expect. For every holiday, I pick somewhere I want to see then choose the country e.g. I wanna see the Golden Gate Bridge, so I know I'm heading to the U.S., California.
Below are pictures of Mozambique (not mine).
I must warn you, I've been told a lot of African countries do NOT like Nigerians and will treat you much less nicer once they realise you're one.
Bolade005: Like I always say, sex is psychological. Trust me, the first solution is to believe in yourself. When you're about to go down, just have the believe you will keep shooting for as long as you want and trust me, you'll stay longer. You need to first have the mentality that you're a lion in bed. You be superstriker na
In addition, get the small Orijin, the plastic one. Drink half of it 20mins before séx, trust me your first round might be the usual but your second round will be MUCH better. Next time you want to have sex, drink it again and fire on. I promise you that after about 3 or 4 times of drinking Orijin before séx, you won't need to drink it again before séx because your brain would have been used to firing for longer period.
Stop consuming sugary stuffs and eat watermelon on a daily if you can.
Chinum: Her wedding day was one of happiness and merry making. But that was a few years ago when Wunmi Oyediji was still in love. Fast forward eight years and you have a completely different story from the sweet romance that led Oyediji to the altar.
Oyediji, a banker with a reasonable income, met Damilare when he was working in an IT firm in Lagos. But shortly after their marriage, Damilare lost his job and has had none since then, except for the mostly futile hustling he does at the Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos State capital. The village is Nigeria’s IT hub.
For over five years, Oyediji has been shouldering the financial responsibilities at home like paying their children’s school fees, feeding and clothing the family.
Twice, she has tried to set up business for her husband and twice he has been unable to account for the money invested in the businesses. On several occasions, Oyediji has caught Damilare cheating on her and on a few other instances suspected him of attempting to dupe her.
“Apart from the fact that I don’t want to raise the children as a single parent, I also don’t want my marriage to fail. People will say the marriage failed because I’m richer than my husband and that’s why I’m not submissive to him. But that’s far from the truth. Some of my friends wonder if I’ve been charmed but those are the reasons I don’t want a divorce,” she said.
In many of such cases, the women suffer in silence because of a range of reasons including the stigma and the cultural issues associated with divorce. In Nigeria, divorce is frowned at culturally and so divorcees often have a hard time getting someone to remarry.
New trend?
Findings by Saturday PUNCH show that what Oyediji is going through appears to be increasingly becoming common in marriages, which goes against a culture of having men as predominantly breadwinners in homes.
Although many people blame the situation on the country’s socio-economic situation, which has thrown more men out of job, findings show that more men these days appear to be content with abdicating their responsibilities at home to their women.
However, this is not to say that some men in such circumstances are not genuinely working hard to provide for their families. But even such efforts have been described as little by a cross section of respondents who spoke with our correspondent.
Some of the respondents said the way the girl-child is often saddled with more domestic responsibilities than the male-child toughens and helps her to cope better with life challenges than the male child.
Indeed, most of the parents who spoke with our correspondent said they are more likely to send their female children on errands than their males. And often times, while the female child is being sent on multiple errands, the male child is sitting idle or clutching to his video game.
In the United States of America, a research by the Prudential Financial Group already found that over half of the country’s women are primary breadwinners in their households- 53 per cent precisely.
The research further “shows that 40 per cent of these women are either single or divorced and support themselves entirely, while 22 per cent of married women earn more than their husbands.”
Another recent study carried out in the US by Pew Research tracking back 50 years seems to confirm the trend. The research also shows a recent record share of wives being more educated than their husbands.
The report acknowledged that it used to be more common for husbands to have more education than their wives but that for the first time, the share of couples in which the wife is the one marrying a man with a lower level of education is higher than those in which the husband has more education.
For instance, the report stated that “among married women in 2012, 21 per cent had spouses who were less educated than they were—a threefold increase from 1960,” according to a new Pew Research Centre analysis of census.
But interestingly, the trend is not peculiar to the country’s educated class alone. It cuts across all strata of the society.
For example, a sample carried out in major markets in Lagos shows a scenario similar to the ones earlier highlighted.
A lot of the women at Ketu and Mile 12 markets in Lagos are travellers from adjoining states like Oyo, Ogun, Osun and Kwara, sending money home for the upkeep of their families.
One of the these traders from Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State, identified herself as Mrs. Ramota.
Ramota said though she labours everyday to send money home to her family, reports getting back to her concerning her husband had been unpleasant.
“In spite of all I do to feed my husband and four children, travelling up and down, I hear that he cheats on me whenever I’m not around. And he doesn’t do anything. He always waits for me to send money,” she said.
In her contribution, a marriage counsellor, Rev. Shade Toyin-Kehinde, agreed that the added responsibilities being given to the girl-child could be responsible for the perceived laziness in some men today. She, however, appealed to women going through such situations to shun divorce and seek counsel. She also advised young women in the process of making a choice for marriage “to pray, look well and also seek for counsel.”
viclawz: THE next time a cold caller or traffic jam gets your blood boiling, take a deep breath and try to relax. New research has shown that getting angry can shorten your lifespan. Scientists have found that men who had admitted they had a short fuse when questioned around the age of 35 were more likely to be dead 35 years later than those who were less quick to anger. Those who were among the angriest 25 per cent had a 1.57-fold increase in their risk of dying early compared to the calmest 25 per cent, the researchers from Iowa State University, United States, discovered. The study was published in the journal Social Science & Medicine. The relationship remained robust after taking into account factors such as income, marital status and whether or not they smoked. Although the researchers were not investigating why the angriest were more likely to die earlier, they said previous studies had ‘linked anger with a variety of negative physiological processes’. These include atherosclerosis – where arteries become clogged up by fatty substances known as plaques – and can lead to ‘serious and potentially fatal health events such as heart attack’ the researchers said. “This suggests that the actual embodiment of trait anger in physiological processes may be responsible for the observed association between anger and mortality,” they wrote. For the study, the researchers used data from a nationally representative sample of 1,307 male heads of the household who had been followed from 1968 until 2007. Between 1968 and 1972 the men had been questioned annually about their anger levels: whether they ‘get angry fairly easily’ or whether it ‘takes a lot to get them angry’ and each man’s score was averaged for the five years. The men were aged between 20 and 40 when first questioned, with an average age in 1972 of 34 and a half. “Being in the top quartile for anger is associated with a 1.57-fold increase in the risk of dying at follow-up compared with those in the bottom quartile,” the researchers concluded. London-based chartered psychologist Graham Price, who treats people with anger issues, said: “People who are quick to become angry have developed exaggerated unconscious beliefs about injustice that may have been triggered by past negative experiences and have almost certainly been reinforced by excessive expression of anger over a long period. “The way to unwind such beliefs is to accept feelings of anger, using mindfulness tools, and then withhold expressing the anger.” He added: “Anger is a form of stress and stress increases cortisol levels in the bloodstream. “Studies have shown that if anger or other forms of stress are maintained over long periods, negative health impacts can result, including developing IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) or increased strokes, heart attacks and other cardiac problems.” Personal anger – such as that caused by being let go from work without compensation – can be useful as it can propel us to confront the issue, and fight for a severance package, for example. But when it comes to impersonal anger – the “blind rage we feel when we’ve been cut off in traffic’ – it’s simply not worth the fight,” she said. “One of the calming techniques I practice with my clients is just to focus on their breathing – when the anger flares up, notice it, acknowledge it, then step back from it and try to focus on the inhale and exhale of the breath.” Harley Street-based psychologist Dr Becky Spelman said there are many practical things that we can each do to manage our anger levels. “Take the time to consider the things in your life that you can be appreciative of – write them down and picture each clearly in your mind, ideally when you first wake up,” she said. “Visualise what you really want from your life. Hold on to this vision tightly and whenever you feel frustrated come back to the visualisation and do not let go of this. “This will calm you down even when you feel the rage building. “It is proven that creative pursuits are an excellent way to increase calmness and wellbeing, so find a hobby or class in a creative pastime and paint, sculpt or design that anger away. “And generally speaking, the least healthy people tend to be the angriest, as fitness and diet make a huge difference to our self-esteem, which is where our anger usually comes from. “Find a fitness type that you enjoy and do it at least three times per week, whilst reducing sugary and processed foods from your diet, including alcohol.” *Adapted from DailyMailUK online
ileeru81: If you are one of those women whom a guy had promised to marry and the unserious fella reneged; as in after all the ‘I love yous’; after you refused all the serious guys that were chasing you for marriage and they had since married; after all the weekends of bliss at his place; after you and your mummy and pastor had quarreled on the matter; after you had fought with all your friends because of the guy; he suddenly became a spaceman, he said you should give him space; the guy said he was no longer interested; just like that. Please do not go violent, do not pour hot water on the guy, do not attack him physically or spiritually. There is another way to deal with him; guess what, you can sue the yeye guy.
Mazugore365: If she really loves you then she will forgive you and forget. The only problem is if you cheated in her. That is certainly not easy to forgive. I know that sometimes girls get angry for some very useless reasons. I have no idea what you did but if it was just a simle mistake then forget about it and let her forgive you on her own terms. If she cannot forgive you then move on. She is not the only girl in the universe. Maybe you guys were just not meant to be togehter and this mistake youmade was the solution to break you guys up. Do not take it to heart incase shenevber forgives you. Be a man and continue living your life. You cannot stress yourself over one girl that is probably not thnking about you at the moment. You have to learn that sometmoimes moving on is the right solution no matter how much it hurts. Let her go if she is unwilling to forgive you. Forgiveness cannot be forced, she has to agree to forgive you on her own free will.
kense88: Hi guys, for some of you who are tired of there girlfriend and would want a break up, without hurting her. Here are some tips on how to achieve this. Also note that I copied this from another website, so I don't own the write up. Some of the points are really funny. So sit back and enjoy
1. Be disgusting. However gender politics wax and wane, women still hate that. Farting, burping and blowing your nose on your fingers haven't become attractive just because we're all feminists now. Sometimes, you can edge a girl out just by being sufficiently revolting. Why not "furtively" scratch your arse, then tenderly stroke her hair? She'll never fancy you again. The rest will follow naturally.
2. Verbal tics are always useful. Ask her casually, "Do I use the word 'cool' too often?" Then use it all the time. In every sentence. Dozens of times a day. Soon enough, she won't be able to bear another minute in your company.
3. Crowd her out. Talk over her, boss her around and refuse to be flexible. Be macho, demanding and difficult. As a bonus, you'll get loads of great sex due to your rippling manly ways. Then, one day, she'll wake up and run screaming back to her life.
4. When dining with her parents, wait until she's talking, then catch her mother's gaze and roll your eyes.
Better still, ask "Was she always like this?" and share a conspiratorial chuckle. If the mum makes a joke at her expense, roar with laughter. In the car home, say: "Your mum's great. I think we really connect." You'll be free of the relationship before the next traffic light.
5. Dance with enthusiasm when nobody else is dancing. At dinner parties, shout "Come on everyone!" and jig around the room. Be the first to hit the floor at weddings, pre-empting the bride and groom. Insist on starting a conga in the pub. It'll be cute the first time. And then it really won't be.
You'll be dancing into the horizon.
REX FEATURES 6. Cry after sex. Even better (if you can manage it), during. Have a good old sob. The first time, she will hold you tight and murmur loving words. The second time, she'll ask nervously, "Are you all right?". The third time, you'll wake up to find her packing.
7. Be stingy. It's an astonishingly effective tack for making yourself unattractive. Buy birthday presents from the petrol station, split all dinner bills and take no more than €50 spending money on holiday. Of course, if you're short of money then this won't work; you'd simply be showing a sensible approach to finances. Undercut this by purchasing yourself expensive designer clothes and a lot of computer games. Jesus, that'll p*** her off.
8. Whatever you do, don't listen to her. When she's talking about something important, simply tune out. Respond inappropriately to show you're not paying attention: say "Hmm, that's a pity" when she's delivering great news, and "Oh good" when it's something terrible. On the phone, make sure to tap audibly at an email while she's speaking. Face to face, don't be afraid to actually wander out of the room in the middle of a conversation, as though you assume she's finished. If she's tearful, be sympathetic - while simultaneously checking your iPhone for football scores. This behaviour will soon drive her into the arms of a kinder and more attentive man, whom she doesn't fancy as much as you but likes better. Perfect.
9. If you think you can drive a woman away by being nasty to her friends, guess again. She hates her friends. The ruder you are to them, the more she'll adore you. As for making bitchy remarks about them on the way home, you may as well engrave your name on her heart in gold. She might express disapproval, even anger - but, secretly, she'll be drumming her fingers until 29 February, then hiding a ring in the soufflé. Instead, take the opposite tack. Bond excessively with the friends. Take their numbers. Send them funny emails. If she's away for the weekend, hang out with them and watch DVDs. Ring them "just to say hi". She'll tell you how delighted she is that you all get on. Then she'll dump you and tell the friends they must never speak to you again.
10. On social occasions with people she knows less well, be a bore. I don't mean be quiet: that can be rather sexy at the right time. No, speak up as often and extensively as possible. Tell dull anecdotes, recount stories about people whom nobody has met. Really hold the floor. She will soon realize that you are social death.
11. You must be a tremendous bore when the two of you are alone. The key to this is voicing opinions that everybody holds, but as though your insight is new and special. Find long-winded ways of saying that the Lib Dems have sold out, the weather's always bad on bank holidays or the world's too dependent on technology. Don't just mention these ideas in passing, really spell them out, ideally while she's watching a favourite TV programme or reading a book. This will soon persuade her that she desperately needs you to leave.
12. Take a lot of long, luxuriant baths. There's something weirdly annoying about men who take a lot of long baths. Don't listen to the cricket at the same time, as this is masculine and attractive. Instead, fill the bath with bubbles. Put candles around it. Make satisfied umming noises. Before getting in, use the phrase, "I'm just going for a soak in the tub." After a while, she will tell you that the spark has gone. She'll be sad, sorry and puzzled - she genuinely won't know why. But you and I will know it's the baths. They've got to her subconscious.
13. Always drink too much. Don't stop until you're staggering, slurring and slightly embarrassing yourself. In bed, paw at her incompetently and belch at key moments. Then fall asleep, sweating lager and snoring loudly. She'll dump you in time to get your liver back into shape.
14. Be lame and weedy on all matters related to your diet and health. Go vegan, then insist you won't eat carrots, mushrooms or any kind of salad because you don't like them. Develop a wheat allergy. Groan "I feel faint! I feel bloated!" after every meal. Then try bravely eating a piece of toast, and take to your bed for days with a "bread hangover".
REX FEATURES 15. Take a keen interest in her diet. Don't be overtly bossy or critical as it's far more annoying to be subtle. Simply say, "Oh, are you having that?" in a quizzical tone, every time she makes herself a sandwich. When you're in a restaurant, suggest she has the fish. Ask to sample her pudding, then cram most of it onto the spoon and swallow it whole. Remember not to be openly insulting: that could destroy her self-esteem and have her clinging to you for years. Instead, keep it cutesy and infuriating. Thus, she will retain her confidence and shed only you. If you want to speed up the process, refer to her playfully as "Mrs Wobble-Bottom".
16. Actually, any nickname will do. Anything twee and fluffy should kill off the sexual aspect of your relationship and turn you neatly into friends. Friends who slightly despise each other. As for her given name, mispronounce it at all times.
17. Same goes for her wardrobe: you're keen. Beg to go shopping every Saturday. Plead: "Just one more hour!" when she wants to stop for coffee. You're not looking for sexy outfits, quite the opposite. Say things like "This would be marvellous for work" when you see a foul beige skirt suit, then hold it up to her neck and swivel her towards the mirror. Run your fingers lovingly over fabrics, look for matching shoes, and discuss sleeve lengths carefully with the shop assistant. When she dumps you, rather than explain it all in detail, she may just tell her friends that she caught you jerking off over a copy of Attitude. But you're okay with that, right? You're a modern guy.
18. If your fussy diet isn't putting her off quick enough, introduce some physical activity. I don't mean team sports. I mean spinning and aerobics classes where you're the only man there. I mean roller-skating in the park, amongst kids 20 years younger than you, announcing as you skate that you're "strengthening up the trunk". I mean riding an old-fashioned ladies' bicycle, kitted out from head to toe in protective day-glo clothing, wobbling slightly as you ride. You can go to the gym if you want, but only in a Borat-style mankini teamed with socks.
19. Freak her out with your cultural tastes. Get massively into Michael Bublé, put up posters of Dannii Minogue and read Jordan's novels. Then, just as she decides you're a harmless yet lovable slowpoke, get interested in Nick Griffin. Acquire some of the literature. Go to the odd meeting "just to see".
Suddenly, you're the wrong sort of slowpoke: the fast route to singledom. Or, if she seems to like you more for your new sympathies, you can chuck her by text without feeling guilty.
20. OK, last option. Sit her down, tell her kindly and respectfully that she's wonderful but the relationship isn't working for you. Talk it through for as long as she wants
... All these just to ditch a babe? Cracked me up... Will just stick to #20 if I have to ditch any woman.
She was supposed to move to another seat first instead of frontally challenging the hooded dude! What if he had a knife or other lethal weapon on him? London is known for knife attacks. The heck!
donestk: This is directed at unmarried guys dating. First and foremost, one guy-one girl relationship today is almost impossible. Both genders have polygamous tendencies.
Some birthday party you organize for the 'love of your life' creates an opportunity for her to see her exes and side boyfriends.
I attended a birthday get together yesterday. The boo organizer whom we shared a table with complained bitterly of how guys outnumbered girls and how most of them are her side boyfriends.
Her friends also sang "hip hip hip hurray, long life and prosperity, more rich boyfriends". A line that further angered her main boyfriend.
So think twice before throwing a birthday bash for hear. It may end in premium tears
Word! Some females are covert and overt manipulators of men. They use devious... underhanded tactics to get what they want including having s*x with former exes while with a current lover.
Famax: Please, i want us to learn from this. On 26th April, 2019, a friend of mine traveled from Enugu to Aba, Abia State for his tight friend's white wedding scheduled on Saturday being 27th April, 2019. On getting to aba (last bus stop) he alighted from the bus and entered KEKE (tricycle machine) with the hope of reaching his final destination.... at first he was the only passenger in the keke..as the journey continued, the keke operator picked some passengers along the road but unfortunately for him the three guys happened to be kidnappers. Immediately, one entered through the right side, one entered through the left side making my guy to be at the middle and the last guy entered the front seat. After some minutes of movement, the front guy dropped and paid. So, when the keke operator got to the next junction for my guy to drop...the keke operator was given a sound slap from behind to continue moving or else they will shoot him.. Immediately, one of them brought out a gun and that was when it was done on my guy that he was in hot soup (trouble)! So my guy started fidgeting. After some minutes of drive, they ordered the keke man to stop and immediately switched to bike (Okada)...my guy was forced to sit in the middle which took them to remote area of aba and was kept inside a two-bedroom flat. As they arrived he was given beating of his life naked with no explanation. It was after the beating with machete and 2 by 2 wood that they started telling him to call his people for ransom of 5 million naira though after much plead by the whole family of my guy they collected 400k from my guy's family. Meanwhile, before the beating, they collected his cell-phone and ATM card and wired his money to theirs. Later in the evening, the first guy that dropped came with food for them to eat. The following day being 27th he was released and was given 1k to find his way. Funny enough, my guy wasn't dressed up in a sophisticated way... just Jersey T-shirt, plain jean and leather slippers. What am trying to say here is that, these guys pick randomly irrespective of how you dress knowing fully well that when you fall into their trap something must come out. So, we have to be very careful. Right now, my guy is still at the hospital receiving treatment for injuries melted on him naked! Please, I want to equally call on the Abia state government to tightened up the security apparatus in the state because everyday people are messed up by these bad elements we have around us. Thank you.
PrimadonnaO: A friend of mine always goes on and on quipping about how much he hates drama. I always told him I couldn't help but wonder how much drama he had experienced in his life for it to top his list of turn-offs.
Today, he shared with me some things he considers dramatic, and I quite agree they are dramatic and females guilty of lots of those things need to do better.
*My Description of Drama*
I am one who abhors drama in relationships and today I decided to pen down my understanding of drama. More like a description of different behaviours that I tag dramatic:
1. When there is a misunderstanding, instead of seeking to understand and forge peace, you start fireworks, run to social media and be dropping hints, shading your partner...
2. When you have offended your partner, you fail to admit your faults, rather you start playing victim and guilt-tripping your partner.
3. When you have done something wrong, you wait for your partner to apologise before you utter your "I am sorry too"
4. When you need some attention, you pick a fight rather than say you will like to spend some quality time
5. Whenever there is a misunderstanding, you always threaten to break up or walk away just so you can be begged and pampered.
6. When you always resort to retaliating every wrong done to you by your partner.
7. When there is a misunderstanding, you go on a blocking spree across all digital media platforms
8. When you always seek to be understood and your views accepted but when your partner seeks understanding you start fighting and creating problems
9. When you deliberately start a fight or quarrel in order to mask your guilt
10. When you step out with your partner and because of a wrong thing said or done innocently, you cancel plans on the way and start insisting, perhaps even shouting, that you be taken back home then when the instruction is about to be obeyed, you say "so you are really about to turn around"?
11. When you pick your partner's phone deleting numbers or going on social media page fighting every opposite sex contact being engaged with.
12. Hitting your partner first then crying to gain sympathy of others claiming you were physically abused
13. Feigning sickness when your partner's friends visit so that he doesn't get to spend time with them but rather come into the room and be with you.
14. Causing commotion at home or in public because a request made to your partner hasn't been granted
15. Presenting options of shoes and clothes to your partner and requesting he/she makes a choice on your behalf and when he/she does, you pick a fight because you don't like the options picked or they don't suit what you had in mind
16. Treating our partners' friends and families coldly because we and our partners have issues.
17. Flaunting another opposite sex on social media to spite your partner after having a quarrel.
18. Making noise or moving around the house in front of your partner just to get his attention instead of telling him you'd like to talk.
I could go on and on...
Both sexes can be guilty of many of this by the way.

#1 to #10 are real...
Men instinctively want women who'll give them peace of mind! NO excessive dramas.
PrimadonnaO: In my personal experience, male bosses. The last female boss I had was everything wrong... couldn't deal. One of my colleagues even had a real mental breakdown.
The female bosses I've seen who were problematic seemed to have some things in common. 1. They were over-exerting. They seemed to feel the need to want to show that they were the boss, which is a joke of authority. When you have to scream "I'm the boss" then there's already a problem.
2. They felt easily affronted... unnecessary things seemed like disrespect to them.
3. Ironically, they were less tolerant and understanding. You would expect that a woman would be more empathetic to workers' plight, and issues they may be having in their personal lives, but the ones I've seen and heard about were the very opposite.
There are no absolutes, there will always be exceptions. These things are largely a matter of "what's most obtainable?"
Hmmm... Table shaking in full effects! ... Well said.
Absence of emotional intelligence on the part of those women is key here as well.
Lola broke the news on Instagram saying, “In the early hours of this morning, I received some very sad news that brought my family’s world to a grinding halt.
“My darling Papa’s passing has hit us all very hard, and while we know that he is in a better place, the truth is that there is no easy way to handle the grief that comes with the loss of a loved one.”
He was buried on February 25.
Lola had on December 13, 2020 shared a throwback picture of herself with mum and dad.
She said it was a time when life was easy and less complicated.
Awoleesu: Ahhhh! Kilodeee?! "20 times..." Bii ti bawo?! Pls check facts and save us the hyperbole! I appreciate Canada is bigger than Nigeria, but certainly not in the hemisphere of 20x... By rough guess, if Nigeria is estimated the size of at least the midsize province in Canada (say SK), then with 13 provinces/territories, Canada can only be between 10-12.5 times bigger than Naija. Look it up!
BTW, tell us; was your friend in the snow bank found alive or frozen?

Queenlovely: While I was doing my doctorate at Leeds university,I noticed Nigerians always make first class, while the white kids just wanted a result.
That is why all our politicians kids studying abroad cannot make an impact on society with their expensive education. They will still come back to Nigeria to drag government work with ordinary folks
One very stupid Nigerian man thinks white babes will flock around him if he was a first class product, but the white Chicks don't care about first class
What they wanted was a man with chuzpah and daring, risk taker, a solution finder. That is why I am strongly against these idea of celebrating first class.
What is the need of buying something you will never use, what is the need of acquiring expensive education when you will still end up as a POS terminal operator.
All your focus is just to get a job, that is why job is scarce. 10million people are struggling for 1,000 jobs.
What separates you from the illiterate if you will still come back to work under an illiterate.
Graduate from India has turned Bangalore into a silicone valley, what have our graduates done?
Graduates from China are soaking up ideas from America to help their country. What have saraki son and all others brought home.
Instead they go there to learn how to abuse drugs and turn gwarrimpa to a drug addict town.
NYSC camp is supposed to be a breeding ground for Entrepreneurs not a place to have sex.
Remember printing recharge card, soap making, tailoring is not Entrepreneurship, many illiterate grandmother can do that, separate your self from the madness
For those dummkopf asking me what I have done? ALOT

SARS in anger are picking Boys around the area. As far as you are breathing, you are a thief
Explorers: This is the bizarre moment a female shopper whipped off her underwear to use as a make-shift face mask after being warned by staff she would not be served without one.
The unnamed woman was filmed at a Pick n Pay supermarket in South Africa after a security guard asked her to put on a face mask.
She claimed that she did not have one but, after threatening to remove her from the supermarket, the woman reached under her dress and whipped off her thong to use instead.
Have principles and write things down. I mean: write every f*cking things down because you'll need them in the future. Don't keep all info in your head, write them down — it's powerful; trust me.
As a teenager in the university years ago, I liked music and decided to learn the guitar, piano, violin, etc. via YouTube. I saved some dollars from my feeding allowance and bought them.
I invested in a video course by a guy named David Tub for $250 and embarked on it with some free videos I got from YouTube.
Today, I enjoy the fruit of my investment. Whenever I'm cooking in the kitchen, I pickup the guitar or violin and play as I watch the food on fire.
I write books on how to play any kind of instrument and make lots of dollars from it on Amazon, Apple bookstore, etc.
In this life, keep improving yourself because you don't know when you'll need that knowledge. Also, don't give up till you succeed.
In front of the guitar, I wrote, "Winners Never Quit." At the back, I wrote, "I'm a chooser, not a chaser."
Today, they have all come through. I hardly quit and I don't chase money or the opposite sex. I just put things in place and they naturally come to me.
This is not to brag, but to inspire you to never quit and learn to put things in place as early as you can so you can reap the benefits while you're still young and at old age.
So, stop trying to watch all football games if you don't plan on becoming a footballer. Stop trying to be on Facebook or all social media platforms when all they do is waste your time — choose the one to join that adds value in your life and ignore the rest.
Stop trying to watch all movies or attend all parties. Have fun, but make out time to work and improve yourself so you can smile at last as long as you don't quit.
One day, those who refused to work on themselves but spend their time doing things that won't add value to life will look at you with envy and jealousy.
Put yourself in a position where people will envy you in all ramifications, not you envy them. If you can achieve this, you've achieved a lot.
