Christianity Etc › Re: 3 Years Old Boy Recalls Past Life, Identifies Killer And Location Of Body. by AlphaTaikun: 3:54pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
mysticwarrior: A three-year-old boy in Syria's Golan Heights region has suddenly become the centre of attention after he revealed that he was murdered with an axe in his previous life. The boy, of the Druze ethnic group, was born with a long, red birthmark on his head. According to Druze beliefs, birthmarks are related to past-life deaths. When the boy was old enough to talk, he told his family that he had been killed with an axe blow to his head.
As is the custom, the elders took the child to the home of his previous life to see if he remembers it. And sure enough, the boy knew the village he was from and once he arrived there, he remembered the name he had in his past life.
Locals told the elders that the man who the boy was claiming to be had gone missing four years earlier. When asked, the boy also remembered the full name of his killer. When the alleged killer was confronted, his face turned white, but he did not admit to murder.
The boy then took the elders to where the body was buried and in that very spot, they found a man's skeleton with a wound to the head that corresponded with the boy's birthmark. They also recovered the axe with which he had been killed.
Faced with the evidence, the killer then admitted to the crime. |

A pro-Peter Obi media platform just published a threat to the Tinubu campaign organization and all Tinubu supporters and instead of Peter Obi and his supporters to condemn and disavow the statement, they simply play around and then blame Tinubu for the publication. Is Tinubu issuing threats against himself?
Is this how Peter Obi will treat all concerns relating to other parts of the country if he becomes the president? Is this how he will look away and start blaming the victims when Ipob, ESN and UGM start killing other Nigerians under an Obi presidency? This is a new low for you guys. Well said @Seunmsg. peacefull: Thank you so much for sharing. I appreciate you!
But I want you to know that president Truman didn't tell to Japanese about it. I had read about it many times. President Truman informed Japanese to leave there before dropped bombs is not true. Hello @Peacefull, Thanks for stopping by as the most popular Japanese woman and citizen on Nairaland (NL). I copied you on this thread that I created to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and to raise the awareness on the need to ban all nuke developments and dismantle existing ones for the safety of mankind. NOTE:I'm the one who first posted on this thread that President Harry Truman of the U.S. told Japanese civilians to leave the city centers because of an imminent bombing by the USAF. Go to page 1 of this thread and you will see the "short video" on the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. In that video you will hear Harry Truman in a speech telling the Japanese civilians to leave the cities because of the impending U.S. bombings of Japan in August 1945. Now because of language barriers, or deliberate censorship of critical information by the local authorities of Imperial Japan, I believe ordinary Japanese citizens may not have known about this warning, but at the top diplomatic and military levels, the Japanese including (Emperor Hirohito) knew but were still undecided on when to surrender till they finally did on August 15, 1945... A full 6 days after the second atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki. I admire the Japanese for their innovations and ability to teach mankind about how possible it is to rise from the ashes of defeat into a highly developed, near-peaceful country in a very short timeframe after the 1945 defeat! The Germans (starting with the defunct West Germany) did the same by promoting innovation and functional learning. Shinzo Abe's recent translation and the global media coverage also proves how much Americans, Nigerians, and indeed the rest of the world love peacetime Japan. As for the horrid wartime events in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Pearl Harbor, Dresden, Berlin, Nanking, etc, we will never forget, so that we can all learn to immerse ourselves in the TRUE spirit of respect for others, innovation, and self-awareness #Man know thyself Stay safe. BluntCrazeMan: The Bank of England will be withdrawing legal tender status of paper £20 and £50 banknotes after 30 September 2022.
After this date, paper £20 and £50 banknotes will no longer be legal tender. So we are encouraging anyone who still has these to use them or deposit them at their bank or a Post Office during these last 100 days.
It is also exactly one year since we issued the polymer £50 banknote featuring the scientist Alan Turing, on what would have been his 109th birthday. The Turing £50 completed our family of polymer notes, with all denominations (£5, £10, £20 and £50) now printed on polymer.
While the majority of paper £20 and £50 banknotes in circulation have been replaced with new polymer versions, there are still over £6 billion worth of paper £20 featuring the economist Adam Smith, and over £8 billion worth of paper £50 banknotes featuring the engineers Boulton and Watt, in circulation. That’s more than 300 million individual £20 banknotes, and 160 million paper £50 banknotes.
Speaking ahead of the date, the Bank of England’s Chief Cashier Sarah John said “Changing our banknotes from paper to polymer over recent years has been an important development, because it makes them more difficult to counterfeit, and means they are more durable. The majority of paper banknotes have now been taken out of circulation, but a significant number remain in the economy, so we’re asking you to check if you have any at home. For the next 100 days, these can still be used or deposited at your bank in the normal way.”
Source: https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/news/2022/june/100-days-left-to-use-your-paper-20-and-50-banknotes Brilliant move from the Bank of England! Polymer notes save cost. Some of us folks with strong ties to England such as @Sukkot, take note. |

panafrican: 1. About 27 million Soviets were killed during the invasion of the Soviet Union by German troops. 2. The U.S. did not start WW2. Are you sure about that figure? The Bolshevik leadership were known propagandists who cooked up a lot of disinformation. They even encouraged their so-called Red army to engage in mass rapes of German women when they invaded Berlin in 1945. We know full well that close to 30 million Soviet citizens were isolated and eliminated in the Gulags or concentration camps by the Soviet communist leadership. tete7000: Japan asked for war, they got it. In war, anything goes, laws and morality are suspended. The brutality with which Japan went with the war before they began to lose ground was unthinkable. Even when they were losing, method like kamikaze attacks highlights how ferocious and brutal those guys were. Japanese will never surrender but would rather fight to death even when it became clear they wouldn't win the war. Americans love life, they wanted to fight and go home, they wanted the war to end but they face a salvage enemy that must be conquered at all cost without further loss of lives already suffered at Saipan, Guidacanal, and many other Japanese islands. Atomic weapon to American at the time in question was just a weapon of choice. May the lives of those Japanese who died rest in peace. Your post is deep...very well said. jimetagambo: You are not all wrong. Japan made it easy for the Caucasians/allied forces to use nukes on them by being unnecessarily stubborn. Some rogue soldiers even tried to kill their emperor after he called for peace. They wanted to continue fighting. the US lost a lot of soldiers trying to retake an island (Iwo Jima) of the coast of Japan, now imagine how the Japanese would have defended their mainland.
The allied forces will probably not drop a Nuke on a Caucasian country. Author Harris (Airforce Commander) was disgraced in Britain for being responsible for bombing a lot of German cities because of the high loss of civilian lives. He had to flee to South Africa at some point. The Germans themselves only see Japs as honourary cuacasians just so they could keep fighting their common enemies together. Well said @jimetagambo, The British RAF Commander, Arthur Harris is viewed by some historians as a villian (alongside Hitler, Stalin, and Mao Zedong) for initiating the horrendous carpet-bombings of several German cities (Dresden was very vicious with firestorms that killed many in what has been termed a war crime) in response to the earlier German air raids on London and other British cities. Wars are really brutal! |

Honestly, the situation is not funny... But that also helped to reset the brains of the Japanese to become more peaceful and tolerant.
Back in the 1930s and 1940s they engaged in a lot of land grabbing and colonial expansion in Korea and China. Formosa a Portuguese colony [now called Taiwan] was actually handed over by the Chinese to Japan after being defeated by the Japanese.

Originalsly: The US was unofficially involved in the war when Pearl Harbour was bombed. The Pearl Harbour bombing was used to officially declare war on Japan.
On trying to justify dropping two nukes on Japan... why weren't the nukes dropped on Germany to end the war early? I'm hoping for a reasonable response to this question. @Originalsly, Germany had her own share of the horrendous fire-bombings of the cities of Dresden and Hamburg in 1945 by the Allied Air forces led by the RAF. Japan was definitely hit with the atomic bombs on August 6 and 9, 1945 because their military heirachy was proving very stubborn [they permitted the use of kamikazes or the use of suicide plane crashes in warfare] and didn't want to surrender... last but not least, the Japanese are of a different ethnic stock from Asia and not of European descent.
It finally took up to August 15th, 1945 for the Japanese leadership led by Emperor Hirohito to surrender so as to prevent any further plan to bomb Tokyo which is the seat of the Emperor and his family. There was even a coup by some radical Japanese troops [which was foiled] to stop Japan from surrendering. Some of the Japanese military commanders commited suicide according to Japanese traditions as well to avoid surrendering. These are just my thoughts from reading these facts of history for decades now. |

Trump real estate appraiser hands over thousands of documents to N.Y. AG in civil probe
Cushman & Wakefield, which was held in contempt for snubbing the attorney general's subpoena, has now turned over nearly 36,000 documents, the AG's office said.
A commercial real estate firm held in contempt of court for failing to hand over records on its appraisals of several Trump Organization properties to New York's attorney general has turned over nearly 36,000 documents, court filings show.
New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron had found Cushman & Wakefield in contempt last month for not producing documents in state Attorney General Letitia James' civil probe into the Trump Organization's business practices and ordered the firm to pay a $10,000-a-day fine until it complied.
In a letter to the judge late Friday, James' office said it has now "received Cushman’s production, which amounts to about 35,867 documents since entry of this Court’s contempt order." The letter said the attorney general's office was joining with Cushman in asking the judge to "dissolve the Contempt Order and hold any contempt purged, without any fines due or owing."
Cushman's and James' spokespeople did not immediately respond requests for comment.

FreeStuffsNG: This is one of the numerous atrocities those who hate President Buhari always tag with his Fulani tribe out of bigotry and deliberate mudslinging to create hatred between the Fulani and their hosts. I hope Igboho too will hear this news that it is the cousins of the Yoruba that are sabotaging the lives of their Yoruba extended relatives and not the Fulani he kept attacking till he landed in trouble with FG and then Benin Republic govt.
The govt should do thorough investigation to ensure that no innocent person is lumped with the alleged killers. This is a very serious case!
But for the diligence of the army, DSS and the State Government, it would have been another attempt to drag in the Fulanis.
The Governor admitted that kidnapped victims have been hidden in Ebira farmsteads but kept it under wrap while people keep watching out for the herdsmen.
The Governor should not stop at the appeal, he should do an audit of the farms and put surveillance in place there and any Ebira caught should be paraded before the Ebira community as well since the Ebira do not promote crime as a culture.
Ondo State govt. should also embark on mass enlightenment to encourage the Ebira to come forward with intelligence. It is no brainer that the killers had a collaborator living among the Owo people. We really need to find out the main reason they killed those innocent people in the church. It was completely unwarranted and unfortunate.
May the souls of those killed rest in peace. God bless Nigeria for ever. check my signature for freebies! @FreeStuffsNG, I enjoy some of your posts on NL but you are very wrong with the bolded above. US used that act to potray themselves as super power, thats all. cant believe some m.ofo are justifying it quoting pearl habour attack, what an excuse!. so USA couldnt locate the military facilities of japan, and bomb it to smittens along with the personnel in retaliation? the devastaing effect of that bomb may take forever to heal, same as the effect of agent orange they used in vietnam. Actually the German Jew (who later fled to America in the 1930s and became a U.S.citizen), Albert Einstein was a co-creator of the atomic bomb and was involved in the Manhattan Project leading right up to the U.S. becoming the first country with an atomic bomb.
Einstein is on record to have said the atomic bomb can destroy cities so the Americans led by Einstein, President Harry Truman and others knew the destructive effects. This is the reason why Harry Truman is on record to have told Japanese civilians to leave the cities because of the imminent atomic bombing.

dermmy: Thats is the injustice of war. All the major powers that participated in WW2 committed war crimes excluding China that was defending its territory from invaders. But the conquered were the ones charged for war crimes meanwhile the victors also committed war crimes too. The American General Curtis Lemay said one thing after the war.
If I had lost the war, I would have been tried as a war criminal -General Curtis Lemay
He was very right. He was the one who inspired the fire bombing of Japanese cities with incendiary bombs. That led to many civilian deaths. It was a deliberate attempt to force Japan to surrender. It was a war crime.
The western allied powers committed atrocities on a large scale. The Fire bombing of Dresden and Operation Gomorrah also known as The Bombing of Hamburg. These were deliberate targeting of civilian populations with incendiary bombs that incinerated a whole city, villages, towns as a means of forcing Germany to surrender with the accompanied rape that followed.
If Nazi Germany had won WW2 USSR, U.S, Britain, France, and other allied countries would have been tried for war crimes by Germany too. Only the victors dictate rules after war. Well said. History is always written by the victors in the entire history of mankind that I've read for decades now. Real bone-chilling lessons learned about human behavior. |
