oluwashaun: Hey guys,
HELP HELP HELP I have a friend in need of serious help. He did biometrics on 20th April and since then he has not gotten his passport. He has sent several paid mails, and calls and was told a decision has been made. School has also confirmed to receive his BRP card but he still hasn't gotten his passport. he has gone to TLS several times to complain but nothing. School has resumed and it been more than two months now and still hasn't gotten his passport...
What can be done please He should contact the international office of his school and tell them to get in touch with UKVI on his behalf |

mimilyrics: You still don't get it. It is UKVI that creates this numbers and assigns them to schools so once the CAS number on an application is correct, UKVI uses it to access the CAS details to check that they align with what you have on their system. Whether or not you submit your CAS statement to UKVI, they still need to conduct a check on their own systems to check that the CAS number exists and is not expired. No, you don’t understand the point I’m driving at but thank God you mentioned the bolded. I will make myself clear for the last time. That we have had situation where NSF was requested for CAS to be uploaded. Either the person in question then made mistake on her CAS number or not during application, I’m not sure of that. CAS is electronic n virtually generated. Nevertheless, I still stand on what I said earlier that NSF can be sent to upload it because I was aware when it happened. You can’t negate my experience on this issue with a wave of the hand especially when I know I don’t comment on issue I know nothing about And by the way, CAS is “not created by UKVI and assigned to schools”.So, UKVI will create something and still request for it ? Same way they create GWF and still request for it during application ?? CAS is - a data record virtually created - by an education provider (school) - through the sponsorship management system (SMS) - with a unique reference number URN - this education provider acts as your immigration sponsor in the UK. This same SMS is also used for issuing CoS by employers who already have the license to sponsor with the Home Office under Tier 2 UKVI is just a fraction of the Home Office. The Home Office manages this system as part of its duties - immigration (UKVI), security (MI5), law n order (Police) etc |

mayo47: A friend has been having issue with an overzealous tenant who act like she owns the house because she's oldest tenant with about 6 years. An issue happened over the weekend which required police intervention. Please see attached screenshot.
The issue now is that my friend plan to send the agency a message that he wouldnt be going ahead with an outstanding January half rent payment he earlier agreed to if they don't reply to the email he sent. The agency has a bit of not replying to tenant emails on housing issues. The January rent is outstanding because he refused to pay them when the house boiler went bad & his bathroom was leaking for about 2 weeks in December. I think the agency later negotiated for half rent instead of no rent payment. Is it the same Sinyee Cheung of Genesiscity - a set of Chinese rogues who think they can recreate the none sense they have going on China? |

Ibukune: Good day all. Graduated in 2017 and i went for internship for a year, i have also been working as a pharmacist since then, without documented appointment letters, except the current place I am working, unfortunately the appointment letter i have for this current place does not include contact details, location and even phone number of the organisation. It was just a letter head document. WhT do i do pls? Or looking at the study gap of 5 years, do i neglect d appointment letter in my visa application? Get your employer(s) to do the right things by reissuing those letters (you can say it’s for your records). Try n cross your Ts and dot Is, so that when they (that’s if they eventually ask) ask for it, you would have something to show. |

giselle237: false. false. False. CAS = a reference number and NOT a document. So maybe you are now the bible as against UKVI/www.gov.uk After filling this reference number on the application form, there is no need to upload any paper copy or any need to waste 11700 at TLS to upload paper copy. That’s the problem with you folks, everything is not cast on stone. That policy is not engraved on a stone that an ECO can’t say otherwise. And they ve requested for it in times past The Op is free to do as he wishes but don’t be quick n naive to say it’s false when you have a limited practical experience about this. To be on a safe side was why I advised him to upload and save himself hassle of NSF n time wasting. UKVI isn’t God and their system isn’t fault-proof |

giselle237: where pls sir? when has UKVI asked for CAS paper upload? CAS that is electronic.. then they will request for paper upload? Lmao! NSF for CAS upload… This is untrue information and should be disregarded. CAS is electronic, you only need to provide the CAS reference number in your visa application form and there is no requirement to provide a paper copy. Same with COS for skilled workers.. no one will ask for paper upload as far as you have indicated the ref no in visa application. If you also dnt indicate the no, no going forward and the form can not be completed Go over this thread particular thread carefully. Just so unfortunate that when it happens you won’t be the one answering the mail. |

HSalamanca: Hello All,
Please I just want to get people's opinions, if PoF is supposed to stay in the account for 28 days, is there anything wrong with printing the account on that 28th day, or should I wait for the 29th day?
The reason is that I've calculated my PoF days and it's looking like the 28th day will fall on a Friday at the end of July. The Bank's app is not letting me generate a statement, meaning I may have to go to their branch, which would mean waiting until Monday and I can't afford to waste any days since my resumption is in September and I know the visa process can still take 4-6 weeks. It’s better you wait till Monday b4 printing |

eniola1010: Thanks so much. I have done that. So i'll just go to their office and pay for walkin.
Moreso, i wanted to ask. Asides these documents, (pof, tb, cas, bsc, passport bio page) what else is necessary and compulsory.
Is transcript really important since my bsc is already there? Is birth cert really important, since my dob is on my passport? Is cv really important? Because i've been self employed. Is work reference important? I dont have a 5year gap. I just have 3year gap. Although i have these supporting documents. But is it really necessary i upload them?
Furthermore, a friend of mind said somthing about summary page. That it is compulsory we upload the summary page, however, since people have been saying their success story on thread, none of them ever spoke about any summary page on the list of item they uploaded. - your B.Sc. Cert should suffice - not compulsory but if you have it, you can - since you have been self employed your CV is expected to explain the 3 years gap. I will advise you do a comprehensive CV to explain the gaps especially if you have all supporting docs (biz bank account, biz reg Cert etc). Otherwise, ignore if you don’t have supporting docs and then hope for the best and pray no NSF - the CV should suffice for the reference in your case - summary page? |

eniola1010: I'm even currently on the page. And something odd keeps happening.
I i choose walkin flexi option. It wont give any available date to pick for biometrics and the checkout option is greyed out. But if i remove the walkin flexi option, then july 20th being the next available date shows up.
Almost as if, for now, they want to stop walkin.
Tried it on 2 different laptops. Same thing. Choosing the walkin option wont bring our available date. But the moment u remove the walkin option. Available date surfaces. As far as I know, Walk-in is paid for @ their office with your naira card (no cash payment) and not online. Book your normal biometrics first, print out all necessary printouts and when you ready for your biometrics, go to VI |

Please guys. If i opted for walkin instead of self service. Is it possible i got a nearer date than 20th of july? Yes, prepare 42k or so for that. The major thing is to book via their platform first and then do walk-in if time is against you |

Mhizlateefah: Goodday,
Is anyone going to UWE Bristol, I applied on Sunday, and I got an unconditional offer today. I'm a bit confused now about the accommodation aspect.
I'm the applicant with a family of 5 (husband & kids), is it a must we pay for their UWE arranged accommodation?, if Yes, can we pay for just a month or 2 for us to settle in?.
Somebody should please respond. Thanks. School accommodation is only for their student (s) and not for dependents. So, arrange your accommodation outside. And be aware that accommodation is a big issue in UK presently. Even with your money(upfront 6 months or more payment) nothing is guaranteed. Better the MA goes ahead of dependents to test the waters and soften it for them even if it’s for a month apart. However, you can discard my advise if you have the fund for hotels or Airbnb |
