It is unfortunate that no matter the hardship, Nigerians do not learn any lessons from the hardship experience. They will make the same decision again.

No amount of crying and complaining will compel this government to change their mind. They need sustained rioting to reverse their mind.

The floating of the naira was a disaster in the waiting for anyone with common sense. The decision to float the naira set up a competition between BDCs and the official exchange to see who will devalue the naira faster. There is no way the official exchange can catch up with the bdc rates because the bdcs wants to make profit. Any catch up by the official exchange rate is only temporary as the bdcs make their gain through the difference between the official and parallel rate.

Election is about three years from now. Let’s wait to see if they have learnt their lessons. It seems the politicians in APC have bewitched Nigerians that no matter how much suffering they heap on Nigerians they will still vote for them.

It’s like we are now in a war situation. Nigerians did not even suffer like this during civil war when we had brilliant men like Awolowo, Tony Enahoro. Now, it is no longer a matter of competence but which tribe is in power. Dumb people have taken over the realm of affairs including Tinubu, Cardoso.

I agree with you that the commenter is tribalistic. This video is from the North. I think these guys are going overboard because they felt the Yorubas voted for an incompetent leader based on tribal lines which is true. Objectively, Obi is better than Tinubu any day any time.

I was in Canada a few weeks ago, the same Canada of a few years ago has really changed so much that, I had to make my purchases in non branding stores where things are cheaper. IMF don't know what they are saying, they want Tinubu to keep borrowing money from world bank for them to keep their relevancy.
