Judolisco:He did not. |
Judolisco:I never said he coached the B team. I said he was designated as a coach but he was a translator. |
Judolisco:Stop acting like you can't read. When Pep was coaching the Bayern first team, Ten Hag was coaching the B-Team. So Xabi Alonso was a player at the time that Ten Hag was a coach at Bayern and anyone can claim they "worked together" because they were at the same team at the same time. However, Ten Hag cannot claim he coached Xabi Alonso because his role will not include doing so just like Mourinho's role in Barcelona. I don't know how many times I have to explain this to you. You started by trying to claim Pep learned from Mourinho and now you have evolved your argument to saying they were there at the same time. That is true but Mourinho did not COACH Pep Guardiola. |
Judolisco:Stop talking all over the place. Not all assistants do the same thing. Some are fitness coaches, some are setpiece coaches etc. Mourinho did not coach Pep he was assisting the first team manager. What the first team manager said was what Mourinho implemented. |
3 of Steph Curry's 4 rings came from beating Lebron James led teams. Ownership. ![]() |
Judolisco:And by the way this link never said Mou coached Pep. It said Mou was a coach there [at Barca] when Pep was a player. That is like saying Ten Häag was a coach at Bayern when Lewandowski played there. It does not mean Ten Haag coached Lewandowski. I warned you from the beginning. Better know who you are talking to. |
Judolisco:I don't like people who don't take correction. Do you know what an Assistant Manager is? Mourinho was not an assistant manager. He was a backroom staff that was there because he could explain tactics in the language the players will understand. He was not coaching anyone least alone Pep Guardiola. He was a translator. I never told you Mourinho and Pep's paths did not cross in Barcelona. I am only disabusing the notion about Mourinho coaching Pep. He did not. Anything Mourinho said to Pep came from Robson and later Van Gaal. |
LZAA:Stop capping nonsense my friend. You are right that it was not Cryuff but Robert 'Bobby' Robson the late former Newcastle Manager that was the coach and Mourinho was an INTERPRETER for him. He never coached Pep. |
Judolisco:You don't know who you are talking to that's why. Now let me lecture you. Mourinho speaks and understands English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. He also understands tactics so when the Late Sir Bobby Robson was appointed Barca manager, he knew he needed someone who understood tactics and spoke Portuguese and spanish to communicate with his largely Spanish and Brazilian squad so he hired Mourinho. That was Mourinho's role in Barcelona. Mourinho used the opportunity to develop his coaching and even players like Rivaldo said Mourinho had this penchant of including some instructions that Bobby Robson did not give. It was after that that Mourinho went on to become a full time coach. He had worked with Sir Bobby Robson in Portugal before they moved to Spain together. Mourinho was not Pep's coach. Never was. End of. |
Judolisco:He didn't. Mourinho was an interpreter for Bobby Robson. |
Judolisco:Absolute nonsense. |
ChristoBam:You are absolutely right and that was my point. That the United would have won 1-0 talk is nonsensical. |
Carthaporo:E pain am. |
Carthaporo:Tell me, is it easy to type rubbish like this? |
FirstbornWds:They are hurt bro you have to let them cope. I have been reading things like If DDG saved XYZ we could have won 1-0. They talk like Haaland would run to the corner flank when he had Varane on toast or Gundogan will ignore the open Haaland and KdB and pass to Grealish if City was not leading at the time. They act like if Haaland had better ball control in this game he would not have played it in for KDB to fill in the half spaces like he did against Arsenal at the Etihad. They act like DDG did not save a chance that Haaland had no business missing because of how close range it was or that Rodri's header in the first half that glanced past the side net could not have been 2-0 before their dodgy penalty. They act like KDB did not deserve a more stone-wall penalty than what AWB got out of Grealish. Let them cope. |
AImiron:Bernardo said it about Pep. That every season he comes up with a new way to play so that other teams will not catch up and that he individually improves players like no one he has ever seen. |
Negroid001:Yes sir. |
TLona1:Let people cope bro. |
Negroid001:I was just saying so. He was tired. |
benji93:Your guess is as good as mine ![]() |
Dollywood:He was tired. That's all. |
KDB was tired which is why he was taken off. They need to be fully match fit by next week as they got tired by the 70th minute. |
The warriors won as many games as the Lakers in the WCF. ![]() |
FirstbornWds:Roma's goal came after Matic pulled and fouled Rakitic. VAR did not overturn the goal. Sevilla did also get fouled in the box once that would have been a penalty as well if reviewed. That has always been Mourinho's problem. He is only observant to other people's faults never his. A selfish, washed-up manager. |
TLona1:I told them in the past that they will shamelessly revert to money as soon as he wins. "Grealish is a fraud...City wasted 100M on him". Then when Grealish starts pulling his weight and playing well the next season..."who can compete with City squad they have £100M Grealish?" Common sense did not tell some people that if the 100M did not matter when he was flopping you cannot bring it up when he is playing well. You have to give the credit to the manager. Some people need to stop and think about how slowbrained they are. When City lost to Chelsea the money Pep had spent did not matter. The "worldclass" players at his disposal did not factor. He took all the blame for overthinking. Then when he wins, it goes back to money, worldclass players and how anyone could have won with the squad. As if the players will select themselves and play the way they currently play. Stones a defender will go to play DM. Akanji would move himself to left back. Or the crop of players from the past 2 seasons will decide to play without a striker. Some people don't think their arguments through I tell you. |
FirstbornWds:They like all those fake quotes because it makes them feel he ever considered them. The question any reasonable person will ask themselves is when was Pep ever considering a Chelsea job? He left Barca in 2012. Joined Bayern 2013 and worked with Bayern till 2016 then signed for City. At what point in-between all these was Chelsea ever going to be an option? The silly people who chat this wass are the same folks who will tell you Pep's friends from Barca had gone to City and that City was being prepared for him since 2012. So ask the fools now when Pep would have ever considered Chelsea to comment on who they need and what? Pep has never sniffed at Chelsea. He rejected Roman Abramhovic on multiple occasions who was obsessed with getting Pep. Anyone who knows what Pep was going through after Sandro Rosell won the Barca presidency would know that he would rather be on perpetual sabbatical than coach Chelsea. Let the delusional bitter fan boys keep making stuff up. |
raumdeuter:Mourinho inherited UCL finalists in THFC. What did he win with them? |
andrew444:Doubted keh? I would say one of the earliest admirers of Pep was SAF. He was the first to dismiss all those "Barca had worldclass players" nonsense and he offered him the United job first but Pep had already given his word to Bayern Munich so nothing could have been done about it. |
A40:I'm with you on Ime. He was an arrogant prick tbh but a very good coach nonetheless and they shafted him like he did not make significant strides with the team. They treated him like anyone else could do what he did. I have nothing against Mazulla and I know he is going to take a bulk of the blame but his players just don't have enough willpower and discipline to go with all the smugness. |
The wicked run when nobody is chasing after them. If you feel you won legitimately you won't be here crying over the series. ![]() |
When it looked like Bayern would not win the league, it was all about how Tuchel never had time to implement his ideas. After Bayern luckily did win the league, all the glory goes back to Tuchel - forgetting the time excuse e-diots tried to use before. |
raumdeuter:Looks like the board can fire itself. |
