Personally I Have tried not to get myself involved in whether the Prophet was real or fake. As that is not my duty.
Personally I had my reservations about him tho I admired his philanthropist activities.

Somehow I was privileged to know of Something that happened in the Spiritual realm two days before he died. As he was taken away by Judgement of God in the Spiritual realm before the Physical death came into being. Don't ask me!

As for whether he repented Genuiely b4 he died, I don't know! But what I can say is the Prophet was not Pure! He was Diabolical.
