Seems you don't get the idea of sin I'm talking about. The sin I meant in this context is not the case whereby a smoker decides to quit smoking, or a drug addict resolves to stop doing drugs. Those thoughts that unconsciously flash through your mind without you realising it is the core of the matter here. And our mind, as long as you are still alive, is constantly set in that motion. Besides, if you entertain impure thoughts and you quickly put it behind you doesn't make you sin but further ruminating on it makes you guilty. for example, if I see a lady and the thought of dating or having sex with her comes up. If I don't quickly discard off my mind and keep on welcoming it then sin comes it but if I quickly do any with it then I won't be guilty of it.
There are ways you can stop impure thoughts. Impure thoughts mostly Come when you are alone. Once you mingle with people you have high chance of not experiencing it. So if I decide to always be with people, then am doing myself good.
