I heard many stereotypes against all types of tribes growing up. But life experience dispelled those stereotypes quickly. For example a tribe with a large population will have more criminals than a smaller tribe. Fact.
Assuming that witches even exist, does it mean nobody else in the bus that carries well over a dozen people was worth (has good prospects in life) being followed from the village by his or her people?

He claimed 'Nigerians have never had it so good'.

Then few weeks later the stock market crashed, naira crashed, banks where I deposited Dollar in my domicilliary account where unwilling to pay us pack in dollars, they were asking us to take naira even at a much lesser value than what was deposited, they claimed it was CBN policy, I was told I couldn't even by goods with dollars in my account from China and India. Later they said I was going to need an 'inflow' from outside the country to pay for goods in China and india, that the cash deposit in my account even though enough to pay for goods 'does not qualify'. There was chaos, Godwin emefiele the dunderhead at CBN was confused. It was One useless policy after another.

I was incensed and remember confronting the bank manager on one occasion, I told him in clear terms, 'I gave you dollars when I deposited in my account, give me back my dollars!', 'you don't have dollars but you are giving dollars to big men and politicians for round-tripping abi'. I was ready to cause a scene in that bank. They finally gave my dollars in CASH and I took it start saving it at home till today, I've not touched that dorm account again.

See, buharii was a pain the arse economically, he needs to be booted out.

But those 30k BMC goons and jobless zombies say Buhari is the father of modern economic wonder.

The public has the right to know. It is a matter of public interest. Investigation of this nature is largely forensic, tracing movement of money. By now EFCC should know 99% of the methods politicians use to steal, collect bribe, move and hide money and assets.
So telling the public will hardly compromise investigation.

In this election, we have a choice between two bad parties. A governor was caught taking bribes. No one in his state is rioting. The two main parties have all sorts of corruption cases on their head....and no one is doing nothing.

Our universites are badly funded. We pay less than $200 in fees and expect $20000 in facilites. You cannot get well trained professionals from just $200 per annum per student.

And by the way, in this country, people commit crimes, and their relatives , friends , tribesmen even prevent them from being punished for their crimes. Someone comitts a violent crime,we go and beg the family of the victim,and nothing is done. Or we go and hide him from being prosecuted.

There is something wrong with governance in Nigeria....and it is because there is something wrong with the people. And the sad thing is Nigerians are not ready to face their sins.

All these issues were present in developed countries centuries and decades back. But they began to get serious. No excuses anymore. Serious governments build strong institutions. Successful countries are run by institutions. That is why Obama, Tony Blair and David Cameroon who never even held ministerial positions prior successfully led USA and UK.

If officially married the wife and kids officially inherit his assets. No matter the next of kin. Especially if one dies intestate (without a valid final will and testament).

Even a will excluding wife and kids can be challenged in court for validity: mental capacity while making the will, influence, coercion, manipulation by the beneficiary, conflict of interest, etc.

I wonder how people can secretly invest and spouse not knowing. That is lack of trust in my opinion. I know of someone who died and the wife knew nothing about his official stuff with the authorities in diaspora. We could not even find out if he submitted his life insurance form that he filled out just weeks or months earlier.

Since the wife only saw the form being filled out but no idea which company. His bank account showed no debit to any insurance company. But considering his secrecy, he could have had another account using another address. This is more common than we realise.

As for work, it can be inevitable for one to stay at home at times. Like when raising children born with short intervals between them.

What many VERY successful people never tell you is the help and tailwind they got at some point along the way. Most make it appear like own efforts only.

Dangote had his uncle Sanusi Dantata's mentorship/help and grand-dad Alhassan Dantata connections, Jim Ovia and others somehow got licences to operate banks from IBB & co. Something we know is not open to 99% of Nigerians.

Yes they still had to work hard. But many cocoa and yam farmers in Ekiti, Oyo & Ondo work very hard too.

I am not a complete novice in business either. My first foray into business was when I was about 15 years old.
