crestedaguiyi:I wonder o. People get time sha. Anyway they are emulating Linda the Gossiper-IN-Chief. |
Lol. No two women are exactly the same. Women hardly say "yes" right away even if she's seriously gagging for it. It's about not appearing cheap. ![]() Instead of trying to decipher a woman's calligraphy, focus on being yourself, be considerate, see a girl first as your sister/cousin/friend and you will generally be OK. |
bebe2:Bebe my sister, you dey go paint town red with champagne and none of the 500 seats is for me. ![]() Anyway, you don see better plots for Lekki/Awoyaya side? I remember you mentioned something similar a while ago. All these 600/700k Ibeju Lekki ads for Nairaland here dey fear person. ![]() |
Aje a wa o! ![]() |
SoapQueen:Limca adores you. Don't ask me why. His attitude is just defence mechanism. ![]() |

Too bad. |
Nothing new. Oyinbo will always exaggerate anything Africans do. Nigeria happens to be the biggest African nation. But they will never mention Nigerian staff manning the healthcare, IT and other areas of the economy. Most fraud criminals are local British people or other Europeans. Just check out Met Police public records. |
deomelo:The same PDP members now saints in APC. ![]() |
obonujoker:So you expect that kind of person to know? Are you not expecting too much? |
Pathetic. |
Dyt:Abi o. Unless disabled or mentally challenged, it takes a lot to fully dependent on elderly parents at age 30 in the West. If he was even responsible, working hard and contributing as little as $500 monthly to the household, his parents might even allow him to stay so he can gather money for a mortgage deposit. |
fiercehillz:You know people hate reality. Especially zombies from outside the state, with little knowledge of the state. The one sector that has boomed in Edo state for over 20 years is house construction. Since investing in other sectors ends up with stories that touch, diaspora people invest majorly in housing. Good accommodation is available in most parts of Edo and relatively cheap. And virtually every diaspora person continues to build. It is not like the situation of Lagos. We know all these PPP houses end up being very expensive and hardly even get to the poorest. Therefore priority for now should be on constructing roads and other infrastructure in new areas surrounding Benin. They have very fine and some empty houses to provide access. Essentially to stick to the excellent Samuel Ogbemudia master-plan of the 1970s. Areas in Iyekogba, Oka, Ekae, Iguadolor, Eyaen and outlying places that have become new towns on the back of private people building relentlessly but no govt infrastructure. While such signing of agreement grabs the headlines, it may not be well-thought out. Irrua, Afuze, Ekpoma, Auchi, Fugar, Uromi and others can benefit from such too. |
earthsync:A sad situation. Not for passion, not for vision to contribute to body of knowledge. Just for money & prestige. For that reason people with very poor social & emotional skills become doctors and nurses, instead doing material engineering or such courses. Later we complain they have no empathy. They were never cut out for such mature & emotionally drain profession. |
Near Abuja for that matter |
biacan:Actually nothing new. Women have more mundane tricks. If you sleep raw with a girl then expect such. No biggie. Others include sudden issues with phone, accommodation, health, school fees and many more. In fact any drama of distress or need a lady brings up is a trick to obtain money until proven otherwise. We date the women & have seen it all. However, I do not think anyone deserves any accolade for telling lies for money. Just to buy a wig. Like WTF. Not even to add to start business and empower herself. Next time she needs a new wig, sleep raw with another guy and claim pregnancy? Poverty mentality in my view. |
Goddaughter:My dear God advice but many kids grow up in desperate conditions with little guidance. Daily survival is a struggle. Such girls easily fall prey. Such a girl in a regular situation should be in university, poly or learning a trade right now. We need a welfare system to take care the most impoverished ones in society. |
How sad. RIP. |
Nice. |
OK. Hope they can offer quality education with time. By the way how do do you get a licence to run a polytechnic or university. NBTE requirements for poly seem very high. And may not even be up to date as things change in Nigerian without notice. |
plaetton:Zombies want to brush that humongous figure under the carpet so they can blame GEJ as usual. They yap about increased foreign reserve. Which serious person saves money at little or no interest rate and at same time borrow money at a high cost of debt servicing? Only economic illiterates. |
biacan:Biacan will you (maybe not you personally but your kilt & kin from across the Niger) now accept that infidelity of a wife can cause the death of her hubby? I know many people from the East who rubbish this claim made by people from places like Edo. They are often the most abusive in their attitude towards claim of taboos by others. Yet Easterners insist that their culture & taboos are real. Is it just disrespect for others or what is it? I cannot dispute the veracity of the consequences of not marrying the corpse, because I know several things I have witnessed in my own culture that outsiders ignorantly claim that I never saw. |
Na wa . |
Adiwana:Clearly Pythagoras. First Pythagoras did his work about 2,500 years before Einstein. A time when only very few people could read. No real universities or professors to learn from. Pythagoras did massive work in planetary science (stars, Venus), proportions, music tuning, solids and the fact that the earth is a sphere, a fact that took another over 2, 000 years later for others to realise/accept. He had massive influence on Gauss, Newton, Kepler, Copernicus and others that later went on to inspire Einstein. He was also one of the best philosophers ever. |
Wagasigiungu:He did not graduate with a third class degree for nothing. That is "let my people go" English right there. ![]() |
post=67732904:Would have, could have, all is speculation. Had Buhari lost clearly in 2015, you guys would have said Nigeria would have been a developed country like Singapore or at least like Malaysia by now. What is sure is what can clearly see with our eyes, not what might have been considering that the North might have organised a coup to overthrow Jonathan in their usual desperation for power. ![]() But Alas we have seen the joblessness, poverty, continued herdsmen (Boko in disguise) killing and kidnap. In 5 years plus Nigeria did not turn to Somalia, instead we overtook SA as Africa's biggest economy. You guys say there was corruption and low foreign reserve yet the economy and Naira remained in good shape. Zombies are too dull to know that some developed countries have lower reserve than Nigeria, like Holland, Belgium, Finland, NZ, Portugal, Greece and far more than Brunei, Qatar, Oman & Kuwait. It is economic policies and implementation that matter. Even the sham corruption fight, no major conviction till date. Budget padding became the norm under Buhari. Keep deceiving yourself. The problem with fooled/duped and deceived people if their refusal to accept they have been fooled. Like MMM victims kept defending MMM managed even as their money vanished before their eyes. ![]() |

VEE2010:Over half of Nigerian states are not viable. Even some with high oil allocations are in terrains where capital projects like roads and bridges are expensive to do. Waterlogged, swampy etc. There was no need splitting Kano, Ondo, Oyo, Bendel, Kwara, Gongola, Anambra, Borno, Plateau, Kaduna, Sokoto, Cross River, Rivers, Imo,etc. You cannot create so many states to rely on Federal allocation. And complete with Governors, commissioners, elaborate bureaucracy. It is not sustainable. |
thedondada:My friend you made salient points. But Nigerians are mostly noise makers. The masses have been so traumatised, demoralised and have no belief in Nigeria. Therefore anyone who can afford it sends kids to school abroad, gets medical treatment abroad, import goods for own use, etc. Nigerians only believe in God. The exponential growth of churches attests to that. It is everyman for himself. If by hook or by crook you get into any position, loot as much as you can. Worry about EFCC later. That is the sad prevailing state of affairs now. As it is all suggestions like yours will make no difference. Nigeria may have to keep sleepwalking into anarchy to consume the current power structure. It may then rise from the ashes perhaps after a very long time. Congo Zaire is there for all to see. Like 9ja Congolese are very talented, bright, modern and savvy people. But they have failed where it matters the most: good governance, peace and security, national cohesion, and a genuine sense of nationhood. It might seem too pessimistic but ask yourself. Have things be this bad since 1999? Botswana, Rwanda, Ghana and other halfway serious countries have all left us behind already. |
chivera018:To transmission more corruption, confusion, "sufferation" and obfuscation or what? ![]() |
chysam:True. That is because I do not fly locally. I can hardly trust the local aviation industry with a poor safety record and flying molue. I fly internationally. For some decades now in fact. |
KillaBeauty:Lol. Not entirely true though. Some fly even even locally with Dana. I personally know some. ![]() |
