BrutusOj:When even APC members cannot see eye to eye, how can they get any governance job done? Lol. Parallel govt, parallel leadership and parallel universe is the specialization. ![]() |
godfatherx:Did you even take time to read OP's post about 1897 punitive expedition that burnt down & destroyed much of Benin by the British? Even statues called "Elgin Marbles" taken by the British from Greece are in that same museum. Like Greece, Benin has been asking for return of the looted artifacts for over 100 years. Britain have only made very few "kind gesture" returns since. In fact looted artifacts from around the world make up the bulk of artifacts in that museum. Including from Egypt/Middle East, Asia, Africa, the Pacific/Oceania, etc. |
SirLakes:Oh thugs already abound. No need. More like helping him/her cover the trails of looted money. ![]() |
AirstarKane:Look for people from your state who also do politics and be members of a party from XYZ state based in Abj. Try connect with the Senator or HoR member from your locality. It takes time. But loyalty is crucial. Stick with one big gun and run errands for him/her if needs be. Reward might be little to begin. But it can grow. |

Of course the VP should be welcome nicely. The way you welcome guests says more about you than the guest. |
Neoteny:Maybe someone else wrote it, like a secretary. But it should be proof-read still. Having said that many anglophone people have trouble with French-origin words. People in arts/humanities/law definitely need a better languages/linguistics/philology education. |
Peterpanny:That's when it's time to see TB Joshua for deliverance. ![]() |
Auladimeji:Correct. She sabi play the elegant Lolo, the suffering widow or a lady maltreated by her co-wife. ![]() Naturally fine lady. She didn't need so much make up. |
ba7man:There are different categories: Some begin chatting like that if they ask money and you do not respond well. They'd rather spend more time trying other guys. ![]() Others just have bad manners and are boring. Some also are already with a serious guy or even have a couple of reserve/back up guys already. Another is the "friends addict club". They have almost 3,000 friends on fb. No way anyone can keep up chatting with roughly 10 to 20% that can become regular "chatters". So ok, lol, fyn is all they have time to offer to 500 out of 600 friends who want to chat regularly. Yet others have a short attention span, some are even very young in addition. About 5 years later, many of those monosyllabic girls become very different if they have searched for love and good paying jobs in vain. Remind them how they used to be monosyllabic, they'd claim they were very busy with school or whatever. That time their eye don clear. ![]() Best thing is just to ignore them too. Better still do housekeeping. Regularly delete such "friends" from your list. |
Abagworo:Wrong. Oyegun is old in politics. He knows the strange-bedfellows that make up APC. A mismanaged congress would open up rifts. Instead an internal consensus would be better. A ruling party at the centre that also has many states should have planned well for this. After all this time without any congress. Fear of divisions prevented APC holding since. The divisions only got worse in the last few years. Trying to pretend that the congress would show internal democracy is a fallacy. Delegates are whipped into voting in a certain by godfathers and power blocks. Oyegun is not against anyone. Managing such a deeply divided party cannot be easy at the best of time. Nobody will be pleased long term no matter what. |
I wonder how Payet missed out. Also Coman. |
highqueen:Actually men approach women and do the toasting. Therefore most men likely choose to pursue a girl they love, are fond of, like or at least think they do. Some girls hold out for that tall, dark & handsome guy but that guy may never even know they exist in the office, neighborhood, etc. ONLY very tiny number of women get to choose the man they truly desire or love. In the end a woman can only choose from among the men who approach her. Her ideal one might never be among them. So she chooses one of them anyway. Because biological clock is ticking, family/society expects it or she foresees economic security with one of the guys. I guess probably even 75 to 85% of women do not love their hubby. It does not mean they cannot be caring, dedicated, dutiful wife & mum. They can be. But that is not love. That is role play. It is just that the society is not set up in a way that girls can take control of picking a partner solely on her own terms. Around 50% of guys probably do not love their wives either. They might just love her beauty, shape, etc. When they later discover that the sweet looking lady has nothing else sweet about her, too late. ![]() |

FG is too power drunk to allow State police. They claim state governors will misuse police. But FG misusing police to harass opposition and those of a different opinion is fine. So what we have is a large incompetent NPF not fit for purpose. If state police were allowed, States like Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, etc will quickly set the pace in policing. Other states will gradually follow suit. But right now NPF has not improved in nearly 40 years. In fact it has declined. Rarely someone like Ribadu comes through. But way too few. Because nepotism right from recruitment and promotion makes a mockery of the system. |
Tunbolity:In SW some Christians actually have a Muslim family background. While it is widely tolerated, her loved ones may still consider her a Muslim in this case. She might even have been going to church & mosque at same time. Not unusual at all. |
milloguy:Haba! According to Islamic rites, funeral should not be delayed. The whole process/documentation of international corpse transportation might not be so quick. Certainly not easily within 24 hours. Or extremely exorbitant. Especially if no private jet (liked owned by a friend/relative) can be scrambled quickly. |
1nigeriamyfoot:Lol. Nor be today. ![]() |
Well this is easy peasy. Please release the undoctored tape na. Na like Buhari WAEC cert this one too go dey? Soon they will hire 13 SANs to silence people. |
Why are the police so happy to do transmission of confusion? Dem kee people? |
Very funny. |
Why has Fashola not recruited this IG to solve our PHCN power transmission problem? ![]() |
dollarhome:Dude should you not be asking NL for job connections? And offer/advertise your skills here? |
And Buhari claims security has improved in Nigeria: Ekiti, Offa and many other high profile armed robbery killings. Never mind herdsmen rampage & kidnapping. |
QuotaSystem:And the same jackbooted soldier came back and has ruled for 3 years. Can you show us one classroom he has built from planning to completion? The "drunk" supervised economic boom, becoming biggest African economy, and your non-drinking kunu sipper who failed as military leader already, spends more time in hospital bed in UK than in 9ja, what has he achieved? ![]() So because they were military leaders, they are no more from the North & SW? Chai! See excuses. ![]() |
QuotaSystem:And both have been in power for about 51 years out of 57. Would you say this alliance has got Nigeria anywhere considering where we're today? Or is just power & politics for the sake of it? Or you want to blame Jonathan for all the woes since 1959? What is the use of understanding politics if it cannot be used to develop a nation and its people? Please think & reflect. |
chyy5:Commission confusion perfusion of diffusion excision is enough vocabs to pass na. ![]() |
Very sad. RIP. |
RIP. |
ShyCypher:Ol' boy na today? We have the biggest skin toning cream market in the world. I think Congo-Zaire & India follow. The day I saw a normally dark-skin 9ja man over 50 years old after about 9 months looking like ripe pawpaw was the day I gave up. Even some men dey bleach now. |
