Na today? |
RIP Aishat. |
I think more Kings probably have RR. You only see them if they use them publicly. These kings already made their own money from various businesses beforehand. The stipend they get from govt cannot even buy a KIA sedan car. |
podosci:Let's go back to this low cost N3.5 million two bed rooms. Previously we discussed the 4 bed duplex. In Ogun state, with basic finishing, foundation and German floor already done. Two beds, 2 toilets, lounge/parlour & ante-room, how much will roughly complete it? Please quote realistically since it is not starting from the beginning. And it is only a BQ to secure a 120 x 120 plot. Thanks. |
Happigirl12:Yes o. Unlike you, some 9ja babes nor go like this o. Carry our money go & bring oyinbo back. Wonderful. |
Supersuave2:For where? In some countries, some girls of 16 or 17 look like this, just covering their body still. |
bedspread:Is it people who can kill their pretty girls that will spare a Nigerian they envy for attracting their girls? Change of Zuma govt has not changed anything. |
jpphilips:What restitution has Buhari done for toppling our nascent democracy in 1984? Denying us the chance to build a democratic culture at a time we still had more respect among the comity of nations? The chance to experiment and improve democratic culture back then that we are only just trying to do now? That treasonous crime is far worse than corruption. So bad it carries death sentence while corruption doesn't. |
Deltatoto:You forget he got in without long leg, passed through without bribe or connections, under Eagle eye of strict Caucasian profs while competing with some of the best brains from the West, India, China and in fact the whole world who flock to America to study. If you have never studied a competitive course abroad, please do not say what you do not know. Some of those students are walking medical encyclopaedia, Guyton, Grey's Anatomy and more combined. Many have parents as medical/surgical Profs in their home countries and know so much about medicine before even stepping into medical school. High achieving backgrounds. Their focus, punctuality and determination is impressively scary. The only thing in 9ja is things are in a failed state. Teaching in universities is not done to make students be the best they can be. Not efficient and has hindered our development. Please do not compare with those 9ja graduating from lowly ranked new universities in UK splashed all over Nairaland frequently. Majority of those schools are not even allowed to run medicine in their country. Although those low rank universities still mostly beat UI, OAU, etc. |
Wetin consain any serious govt, state or federal, with pilgrimage? Religiosity that does not prevent corruption, tribalism, yahoo, criminal behaviour and waste money that should be spent on healthcare & schools, is that religiosity? |
RIP. |
OnlyAmethyst:We all live a somewhat boring life of hard work and paying bills dear. And we all want to go on holiday. Luckily I manage to squeeze out times to go. But only just. Obudu would be really nice some day. |
Too much evil in the land. |
three:Including yahoo plus sef. After failing woefully APC said "Change begins with YOU". ![]() That kain scam nor get part 2. Kikikikiki ![]() And they have the temerity to arrest yahoo yahoo boys. |
Abeg wey that South African football coach pic? 9ja education is finished. She just dey carry fine face about. Common eel she nor know. Can someone also add that Mona Lisa pic? ![]() Even snake na food. Lala will even be dancing shaku shaku. ![]() |
rhames:I am not a European. At least not ethnically. Why should I leave Sango or Amadioha and worship oyinbo ancient god if at all paganism dey hungry me? Not my duty to tell people who to worship o. Daddy GOs dem should work for their tithes, offerings, special offerings, sowing seed, infrastructure building and other collections they make. |
rhames:Odin is an ancient Germanic god. There is a revival in the worship in the past few decades as Europeans increasingly dump Christianity. Only immigrants from Africa, Caribbean & South America, with a minor resurgence in Catholicism among polish people (they were denied religious freedom until end of communism about 28/29 years ago) that are sustaining Christianity in Europe now. |
lastempero:I cannot leave home without wearing a singlet. Even my old man doesn't. It saves one such embarrassment. |
Ellabae:Chai Ella supports ManUre. Ayayayaya. ![]() Walks out singing "You'll Never Walk Alone". Ermmm... Champions League Final loading..........97%. Life is sweet supporting the Biggest & Most Successful EPL team. ![]() |
futurism:This is crazy. In a country of 18k minimum wage? |
If they can order fighter jets from Trump (though we never see the jets o), what is prepaid meters that can be made locally? It is a case of massive DISCOs corruption & extortion. Inflated estimated bills rake in free massive cash for them & their corrupt staff. Question of meter manipulation is just a lame excuse. If true the makers should make the meters extremely hard to manipulate. Everything is wrong with 9ja honestly. After paying over 40K per meter and waiting endlessly, we finally got one years back They have been dribbling us Maradona for other meters requested since. |
EgunMogaji:Baba, Twale o. ![]() Only that in OP's case, it's not just common fb friendship. But a case of "damsel in distress". In no time the knight that reappears after 10 years can hit the hay with her. It is like going through old road you know. Kinda familiar. A very delicate matter. OP needs to be wise. |
EgunMogaji:Baba, Twale o. ![]() |
jpphilips:Fact is the whole world was just ripe for telecom boom. In fact 4 years earlier, I saw onikeke, bike riders and onirice by the roadside using mobile phones in Cotonou. No country where telecom did not boom. Nigeria was even a late comer. A country with around 100 million under 40 people at the time of course took the chance to connect with the world. Nigeria had only 500, 000 Nitel landlines. I would take Atiku seriously if Nitel was in pole position of telco like MTN is now. FG sold GSM licences and private sector did the rest. His only pluses are: he can run a business economy well, knows how to create jobs and he can naturally connect with people across the country far better than Buhari. |
kenonze:Very wrong. A country where 70% live on $1 daily and massive unemployment and families are still from 5 to 10 persons households, an entirely privatised heath care is complete fallacy. In fact FG & SGs should invest far more on subsidized healthcare service. Education & health should make up jointly minimum 30% of national budget. Since we have no welfare benefit system. All the most egalitarian developed Western countries have robust public healthcare services. Allowing allied health care professionals attain consultancy status is nothing new. Examples abound in other countries. Including nurses. We should welcome it as an opportunity to push up the standards of those professions, with consultants being the very best of the exponent. After all Pharmacists, nurses and others have their own remit within the health care system, or is there no such thing in Nigeria? The tendency to abuse position in Nigeria applies to everyone: police, soldiers, houseboy, mechanic, lecturers, politicians, etc. I am writing this bit in response to other posts on this thread, not just yours. If consultant physiotherapists or radiographers or whatever abuse their consultant position, it is only because of 9ja factor & indiscipline. Not the title. |
The boy has a point. It is the acceptability of their yahoo money in the society that also encourages the act. If friends, family and girls flock around them despite know source of money, they will see anything wrong with it. Hypocritical online condemnation after eating yahoo money with them is of no use. We have a morally bankrupt society. |
Luukasz:So Na so we go dey dey? Just dey perambulate just to complete the number of people God created on earth as wanton consumers?? |
Muzanga:Which yeye man thinks that these days? Nowadays without paternity test, you cannot be sure your kids are yours. A relative found out his three kids were not his. He died soon after. A broken man. Several other cases where the truth came out when embassies required DNA test to process family re-union, to move the kids from 9ja to Europe. Na today? So imagine the cases were tests are never done or did not result in pregnancy? Like quick office romps with the boss or colleague. |

Too bad. |
emmasege:He used Rivers State money to out-bribe Atiku (with the delegates) in the presidential primaries. Dollars flown in with Rivers State private jet did the job. A small miracle considering how deep Atiku's pocket is. Amaechi had to be compensated for that. Even though he did not even deliver his state during presidential election. |
