Antoeni:Abeg, comrade, why are you building this your VAWULENCE to be as high as Mount Cameroon? ![]() Have you removed all the sniper in shops from Epe to Iragbiji? ![]() |
EE is one of the best courses you can do. Complete it and do IT masters or MBA. If you still want to be a writer or do a humanities course, you can. Finish what you started first. Thank your mum and principal later. |
Any discount? |
YeyeGbami:Should the person who majorly packaged the disaster that couldn't even secure the country see presidency as his reward and lifelong ambition? |
Medianna:Chai! Better go find Mazi Pete Edochie. He might have a part for you in a Nollywood film. ![]() |
dedunji:Sorry to disappoint you. Does 9ja look like a sane place to you? ![]() So they will vote the worst possible candidate again 2023. QED. |
mfm04622:Igbo groups are openly saying they won't support Northern presidency. So an Igbo VP could become difficult to choose. These groups should have just relaxed first and study the situation for a few days. It should be SE turn at the presidency but we all know the situation of 9ja politics. SE should be more strategic, subtle but still very determined. Sad to say but SE may have to get in through the backdoor first like GEJ did. Nobody would have put an Ijaw man forward for presidency through primaries and ignore WAZOBIA ordinarily. VP is a good position to stay and lurk around for the opportunity. |
Barrister026:You should not have physically fought him. But OP realise one thing today. That your brother sees life as a competition. He feels that he has already achieved more than his senior brothers by having a wife and kid. A common mentality in 9ja. If by chance you help him or his kids financially, later on he will not appreciate it. He may even mock you as in "what have you achieved in life?". So learn from it and start planning for your life. Marry when you are ready but don't leave it too late. No apology from you unless your baby brother has apologised to everyone who was unfortunate enough to witness his bad behaviour. |
kvin33:Good thoughts, but politics is also like running a business. Scarce resources must be spent on what brings the highest ROI and more relevant to business growth/sustainability/consolidation. Bridging the divisions within the South that took generations to widen will take a lot of effort and goodwill on all sides. That's missing on all sides. Politicians seek what will yield quick results/success. It's the nature of politics. Tambuwal stood down for Atiku but no Southern withdrew for each other. Northern unity and desire for hegemony already began with Ahmadu Bello. It remains today. Over several generations now. |
wiseoneking:It is not that SW trust North. SW just distrust SE more and the feeling is mutual. Also SW see North as more important because population politics and Northern control of almost every 9ja institution. Therefore, SW has no choice but to keep appeasing the North. If the North play ludo with Tinubu in next week primaries, SW will still have no choice but to make some noise and make peace with the North. After North compensate SW with a little power/position here and there. It's pure political tactics. If SE had the power had the position of the North in 9ja, SW would suck to SE just the same. |
Kyase:True word! |
Officialgarri:There is one potential twist you didn't recognise. If Tinubu wins primaries outrightly, it could be a poisoned chalice for the following reasons: (1)Tinubu will have to pick a Northern Christian, which the North won't like. Because in "case of incasity", a Northern Christian could become president. The North won't like it. Muslim-Muslim ticket won't cut it. This is not 1993. We are too divided now. (2)The North/cabal won't want a super ambitious person like Tinubu to potentially spend 8 years. It means El-Rufai and other ambitious Northern "young Turks" might miss their chance. They might work against his election victory. (3) APC is a very loosely aligned election vehicle which Northerners can dismantle secretly to support Atiku to keep power in the North. There is no major event like MKO death in 1998 to make the North want to assuage the South. They can take presidency in 2023 and nothing will happen. If indeed GEJ is brought in last minute by APC, it will be to have a strong Northern VP to warm up for 2027 while pretending to have a "moral high ground" by saying look, we have rotated power to the South for equity. Unlike PDP that has not. ![]() Emergence of Atiku is a major headache for APC and Tinubu. It has made their maths much more complicated. Wike winning was what Tinubu would have wanted. Of course they would have been planning for this scenario but hoping never to see it happen. That's why they kept postponing APC primaries to see PDP outcome first. A winning and satisfactory primaries outcome will now be difficult for APC. If Tinubu loses primaries, he will work with PDP secretly like he did in 2011. Because neither NNPP nor SDP can give him a good enough platform and structure to win presidency. |
barrydee: ![]() Chai, Comrade, this VAYULENCE you are cranking up this morning, diaris Gawd o! ![]() Abeg, who has those vawulence comrade memes? |
Samunique:Who respect epp? Has he been feeding on your respect since 2015? All he did before, bigots and tribalists insulted him till no end. Why should he let Southern Judases of 2015 get the presidency? |
INTEGRITYA1:Truth is that their accusations were largely lies and propaganda and they knew it. What actually changed is that inflation, poverty, unemployment and insecurity have got worse since 2015. So it was never ever about competence or any genuine interest of the masses. Some mumu Southerners fell for Northern tricks in 2015. Therefore, GEJ has the right to go finish his 8 years. Since nobody cares about 9ja. Why should GEJ care? The insults targeted at GEJ by Southern Judases of 2015 will not be worse than he got from them while in power. Better to endure insults while chilling inside Aso Rock. ![]() |
lloydtruth:Oh boy, where are the cows? With dead bodies, victims of herdsmen littering SW. Haba! 7 years of walking over dead bodies of his people to Aso Rock nor be small something. Sycophancy nor easy o. I hope Northerners at least pity him and give him the candidacy. Otherwise, Amotekun should prepare to seize all the sniper in SW. ![]() |
Petacephas:If Jonathan's time in office was Egypt, 7 years of APC has been hell fire. Ask loved ones victims of bandits, herdsmen, ritual killers and millions driven into poverty since 2015. GEJ gave us: A better economy-we became Africa's largest economy. Dollar/Naira rate under 225 or there about 14 new Fed universities Modern Railway ramped up Boom in agric: fertiliser wallet that removed fertiliser frauds. Even I went into farming because this encouragement. FG roads got attention-work in progress until he left. Confab-discussed and agreed how to restructure 9ja. Too little time left to implement before election campaign in 2015. GEJ had to hire mercenaries from abroad because Northern military were sabotaging fight against Boko. Boko were being pummelled just before Buhari came in. Buhari sent the mercenaries away and Boko gained more strength. Watch the story on YouTube. GEJ partially removal of oil subsidy to reduce fraudulent claims by oil barons/importers. SW led by Falana and others protested heavily against it. They said that oil price was high so no need for subsidy removal. But due to voodoo economics, they could not see that high oil prices means imported petrol is also more expensive and increases subsidy bill astronomically. More money gained from high oil prices is lost to higher subsidy too. You can hate GEJ because he is not from your tribe, he doesn't do gra-gra like agbero or just for no reason. But you cannot deny his achievements. |
Jungleluv5:We are not sleeping o. We know already. But GEJ has the right to finish his 8 years. If the South actually feel power should be in the South, they should have allowed GEJ finish his 8 years as a Southerner. But some Southerners helped the North take power to the North for 8 years. Power being in the South cannot mean SW person in power only, SS and SE are also South. But due to tribalism and bigotry, some Southerners prefer power in the North than being with ethnic Southern minorities. In hope that the North will reward them later. But Northerners are political chess game masters. So it is every man for himself in the South. GEJ should take it if given the chance. |
ShenTeh:Like they used Tinubu and other southerners to take power from GEJ to the North in 2015. So let us in the South continue to help the North to take power. Why should it be different now? |
ChebeNdigboCalm:Well, just because you didn't know doesn't mean that many others didn't know. I grew up surrounded by historians, writers , linguists, journalists and others. In Benin, even morning greetings contain history such as your original family tree. Not good morning like other tribes greet. Ancient songs depict history and events. Royal ceremonies re-enact events from centuries ago. Some by same families from back then. Ceremonial songs dating back centuries are intact. At coronation, an event from 1255 AD, crossing the land bridge, is re-enacted elaborately. Benin speak up when some want to use modern population politics and tribal nationalism to twist Benin history out of their ignorance. When the Palace now clarifies what our ancient history says about a topic, they say it is a new declaration. In Benin, it is not where one person can use money to buy kingmakers to suddenly become King. Oba of Benin is trained from birth about his role as future king and history. He doesn't just begin making declarations suddenly without solid historical basis and scrutiny. 9ja of today is too tribalistic that most are not open-minded enough to objectively view what is not in favour of their tribe's glory. In fact left to some, when you mention 9ja, it should only be about Wazobia. |
TruthinAction:GEJ should grab it if given the chance. No insult from APC especially SW ones that he will get will surpass what they gave him as president. If there was no Southern solidarity when GEJ was president, why should GEJ show solidarity now? In the South it is every man for himself, tribe versus tribe. No unity. There never was. It won't start now. The North will continue to play ludo with the South. It is the misfortune of Lugardian creation. |
Mummyfour:Lies of course! So didn't you know it was all lies and propaganda all along? Buhari said fighting Boko is fighting the North: GEJ was fighting terrorists from Sambisa forest. Lies unless Buhari meant that the North were solidly behind Boko. APC said there was nothing like oil subsidy. oil companies owned mostly by Northerners and SW people were importing petroleum products and collecting billions easily. Now we pay far more subsidy than before. Another lie. Sannusi said $100 billion dollars (or such outrageous sum) disappeared from national coffers. He later revised it down to $20 billion. Yet no evidence. Anyway, Tinubu moved to Kano to ensure that Sannusi emerged as Emir of Kano. Gov. Kwakwanso obliged then. But his reward as emir did not last. Ganduje booted him out. They said GEJ did absolute nothing in terms of development: He built 14 new Fed universities. Every state that didn't have a Fed University has one now: Oye-Ekiti, Dutse, Otuoke, Lafia, Lokoja, Wukari, etc. And hundreds of schools for almajiri to reduce recruitment pool for Boko. Railway got more attention. Buhari continued this. Airports such as Enugu got renovated. They say the quality of renovation was not good. Everything he did, either they said he did do it or if they cannot deny it, they say he didn't do it well. They accuse GEJ govt of corruption. Of course his regime was far from perfect. The people who ate the money in PDP in various positions at various times are those now in APC as angels. People like Stella Oduah, Amaechi, Ganduje, Akpabio, etc. As for APC selling GEJ to the masses for 2023 presidency, no problem there. It's not like APC or PDP has any ideology to begin with. They will just campaign with him to make promises. Anyone who understands 9ja politics already knew that it was all lies. But the masses "bought" it because of ethnic and religious sentiments. Not because they believed the lies really. |
heartbraker:By the way, where in 9ja is your business based in? Is there any cast iron legal agreement that covers investor's money? |
Ayed44:Let's be honest, Anenih nor try as minister. Benin-Lagos road was at it's worst in 25 years when he was minister. That road was among FG's roads to be renovated. He didn't try. Lots of money was embezzled as usual. He did get his cronies into positions such Elder Ugbesia. But on ground, he didn't try. Lots of Uromi people believe that he didn't use his closeness to OBJ to bring development Uromi/Agbazilo. As for state and local govt roads, he had to mandate for those. |
heartbraker:Dude, and your moniker is heartbraker? Don't you think a less dangerous sounding name would be better for someone seeking investment? |
chukwuibuipob:I'm telling you. Especially because of some people wey carry big big head like Olumo rock. ![]() |
youngblaq:Who dash 9ja third world? That's an insult to Rwanda, Namibia, Maldives, Gabon and many other countries called third world countries. 9ja is now padi with Yemen, Somalia and such war devasted countries. 5th world would be a better tag for 9ja as champion of world poverty capital, kidnappers, bandits, religious lynching, ritual killers, etc. |
jackals:A guy returned from abroad, maybe to settle in 9ja or return after a few weeks and you think he will be idle pursuing you up and down? Madam, a typical returnee, especially if going back in a few weeks, has loads of things to do o. Lots of. Even self, as you slack and form, he might be introduced to another lady that he will find more beautiful and compatible. Be there playing mind game. Who get time? And you say you are humble? Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. |
Emmykul123:Only help I can do for you is to advise you to include your network provider, Glo, MTN, etc. So that people will know how to help you. |
joyandfaith:Tinubu will say worse about Nigerians than Buhari does. Lazy youth Buhari said. Tinubu is not even president yet but rates some of his countrymen as brainless and ignorant. Shame. A president is the chief diplomat of his country. You must have a thick skin and diplomatically deal with critics. Especially those whose vote you are still canvassing for. Anyway, decorum and humility are rare among Nigerian politically elite. They are mostly agberos with lots of money. That is why they saw GEJ's humility as being clueless. |
naptu2:The guy na babalawo ![]() Let him tell us where to find victims abducted during Abuja-Kaduna train attack. Since he can see the whole world from his face-me-I-slap you. |
