Na wa o. Black man get problem. |
LordCenturion:APC also scammed Obama. They knew they could delay it until Obama leaves power, just 18 months into APC regime. |
YonkijiSappo:Even at 48 years old o. |
No regard for health & safety. No wonder the large number of victims during mishap in these climes. |
Priapism. Pastors sabi sexual things o. ![]() And infections are killing people anyhow. |
You mean it should have been physically challenged people doing that? ![]() FG just made him popular. And Arewa Youth doing a great job for him. FG messed up big time. |
uncleFola:You're welcome sir. For now do not worry about it. Get the echo done first. That will show the full detail. And the possible cause. Typically it is about preventing it worsening (like treating underlying condition like high BP) & possibly control symptoms as appropriate. Then lifestyle advice might be added. But be very frank to your doc about all your medical history, family history of any cardiovascular conditions (ask your parents & siblings about any heart conditions), medications if any and so on. Remember if any close blood relative died of sudden death (God forbid), died young (aside accident) even if long ago. I hope your doctor is a cardiologist, not just any doctor. A teaching hospital is the best place to find one. |
uncleFola:Sir I suppose echo is the test you have not done yet. Try and do it soonest. Echocardiography is a better test not just to confirm it but to search for possible cause or causes of it. LVH means that the left chamber that does pumping of blood around the body has a thickened wall. Although it naturally has a thicker wall than the right ventricle but it still indicates that it is working too hard over time. In older people the major cause is high blood pressure. Especially if diagnosed late or is poorly controlled. It can also be due to congenital abnormality of the heart in younger people mostly. Echo can detect a cause like aortic valve stenosis. Where the aortic valve if stiff and the heart has to work harder to pump blood through it. Echo can also measure the actual wall thickness. |
If they were in 9ja people will be saying the boys are in their 30s. ![]() Nigerians: their own worst enemies. |
Is yahoo now punishable with capital punishment? RIP. |
A lot of people do not want to hear the truth. Tell them the truth and they call you envious & frenemy. Very many people are ingrate. They naturally do not value what you do for them. They think those who are there for them are mumu. Once they progress a bit, they do not care. They only remember you if they ever need your help again. Just do good and expect nothing in return, not even being appreciated or valued. That way just be happy with yourself. |
Makes sense. |
It is no news that majority of women are not that generous with money. 99% of Gfs and around 80% of wives (who have the means) can never reciprocate the economic generosity they feel entitled to from men. It is the single biggest barrier to emancipation of the African woman. Willful economic dependence on men. |
olatunji21:Well, people completely ignored that bit. Our youths have no time for important details. Only tribal stuff and bigotry. Yet they complain why the have no chance in politics like Chi Onwura & other Nigerians in diaspora. Can Fayose just make up such a huge deduction? At least it should be possible to prove such deduction easily if Fayemi protests it. We all know many extra states should never have been created. They are not sustainable. Instead, LGAs should have been given more powers within the old states. We didn't need the extra expensive executive, legislature & civil service of new states. |
RIP. |
lovelygurl:I understand your point. Actually the reason why Western societies began to progress visionary leaders began to ask themselves what they can do for their country, not what they can get from it. With time the society began to benefit everybody. Their heritage played a big part in it. Their parents knowing fully well that you must fight hard, passed that mentality on. Considering the high level of education among UK women, 200 female MPs out of 650 is not that high in my opinion. This is a parliament that is centuries old. Just maybe the diaspora 9ja doing well increasingly will finally make youths understand that our system as it is run us the problem. And maybe start to wake up. |
Amazing. |
So even Arewa Youth are now "codedly" supporting Biafra. Maybe not in good faith but nonetheless. Mr Unongo should code that the future belongs to the youth. Northern youth included. If the youth want no unity, then it is serious. And that the killing of 3 million people should never have happened. Because considering the country we have now, it is double tragedy that so many had to die. Only to achieve a failed country 50 years on. |
The make-up na die. Just too much. That is why I still admire Agbani. Proper black beauty. |
lovelygurl:But still, they carry 9ja torch brighter than most ugwu or ewedu-eating locally based Nigerians. ![]() Those who do well are mostly those who grew up with the never-say-die determined attitude of their 9ja parents. It takes resilience and proper adjustment to an environment where you are of minority ethnicity to navigate the system. If you have suck kids, you will know that if you raise them to be proud of their heritage, they will be first to shout their "Nigerianness", while immigrants Lukmon & Chinedu are busy faking accent to mask their own. |
Meekmind:Expect anything from a woman. Those who plead not to be cheated on are the real cheating experts themselves. Times are economically tough now. A large number of ladies would move on if the other side looks much greener over all after considering many aspects. Be prepared for anything including your "gf" suddenly announcing her wedding to another guy. A woman chooses a man and also chooses the father of her children both within and without wedlock. |
Sadly Igbo have too little "lebensraum" in the SE. It is not a coincidence that they travel a lot. A consensus should be sought quickly. Igbo control many aspects of trade across Nigeria and have become invaluable. |
Sugarcious:Only autopsy & toxicology results can show cause, before even working out who could (without any doubt) have possibly be responsible. |
Pure evil everywhere. Na wa o. |
Pure evil. |
Nice. |
An open secret. |
vicadex07:But we are talking of popular, not class. You can be educated, polished, fine and all that but not popular or capture popular imagination. Maryam IBB was the pioneer of that. The first visibly audible FL, even before social media came. She combined beauty & grace with all those. There was really no first lady office before her. And she began all that in a very austere military barracks (Dodan Barracks). It's a tie between Dame Pat & Stella Obasanjo. Because even without much sophistication & affluent family background like Stella, Pat still did not come in with timidity or inferiority complex. That is quite an achievement in a male dominated society where women are expected to know their place. |
Great stuff, congrats. |
Good. But there was a thread last night about a guy who hired his former secondary school teacher. ![]() In 9ja case things are not always on merit or CV. Tribe, religion, long leg and such play a major role. |
Equiano:The guy just dey break grammar. When you are surrounded by poverty. Does he know how much many people spend assisting relatives and friends in dire need? |
