seunmsg:Do you remember that Jega admitted at NASS that over 1 million PVCs would not even be printed yet by Feb 14 2015? I watched it live on TV. Would it have been normal to deny over 1 million people the chance to vote? |
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! When we warned them about Buhari, they called us Tanoids. ![]() Chai! See serious scam. Even bigger than I thought. ![]() |
d33types:You are almost three years old on NL, you couldn't have missed the last one. Or you simply avoid such headlines? ![]() Google is your friend my dear. You have code words: Durex, infidelity, Nigerian women. I pointed only towards your assertion regarding 9ja men's infidelity. If not, I'd not comment. Good luck searching google. Here's one:http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/nigerian-women-unfaithful-wives-world/ Error: It was Thai ladies second, not Filipino. Sorry. Sure my first instinct is to defend 9ja women. But I looked around and several ladies I know, some married for about 25 years that have been caught or confessed to adultery, I find it hard to defend my dear. How many more were not caught? Now on social media, I came to gauge the scale of it personally. Very alarming dear. |
LuvU2:Sorry to burst your bubble sweetheart. International research including some funded by Durex (the condom maker) put Nigerian women on top of infidelity league worldwide. Only Filipino ladies came a distant second. Can you tell me of any official study that says 9ja women "appear a bit more loyal" than the men? No appearance, woman are just more coded and excellent at deception. It is mostly the few well to do & promiscuous that get majority of the women. Womanising in 9ja is an expensive endeavour. It is also the human right of women to say whatever they say, just like you are using right now. |
Na wa o. So much evil. RIP girl. |
asuo27:Oh girl, man scarce nor be small o. Chop clean mouth dey repete but not many half-way serious ones. But chai, women nor dey gree admit say dickus sweet o. See as them dey wrestle over it. With so much effort, they could have won us two extra takwaendo and wrestling Olympic medals. ![]() |
Until we get our acts together and try to do things the best we can: roads, driver training, proper issuing of licences, strict MOT road worthiness of vehicles and so on, sadly this sort of thing may not go away soon. Except by the special grace of God. |
Good. At least women can now admit they have many advantages. Because they usually complain how unfair the world is to them. How men are always out to dominate and control them. But here I see many good things men happily do for them. Even in this recession, lots of women are living fine, thanks to multiple boyfriends & sugar daddies. Yet they complain how much men "womanise". But nobody admits to "manising". ![]() |
9ja politicians are very insensitive sha. Instead of serious programme presentation on how to improve things, they turn comedians and dancers to entertain the crowd. But then again, maybe that's what the crowd wants to see. If at all they have any choice. There were no reports of people booing or throw stones at them. |
omoplaycool:Please read it again. They are going to Kano to test for compatibility first. Or you mean the doc who took out the kidneys, mistaking them for tumours? That part sounds very funny. Just remove both kidneys & the guy is still alive, even using dialysis machine regularly? |
Mr Seun Osewa, please call people to order. The country is tense enough as it is. In as much as we want to respect people's right of expression, we cannot allow Nairaland to be used for radical tribalism. We all know how people have been radicalised worldwide through the internet. Many went on to cause massive carnage. Snakemam Lala & other mods please take note. |
We should all be very careful. Monitor blood glucose. Never too young to test blood sugar around twice a year. Undiagnosed & poorly managed diabetes are a major cause in 9ja. Same with BP. Also refrain from buying & swallowing drugs like antibiotics anyhow. If one is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer or other illness, kidney function/profile should be checked regularly. Anyone with a family history of congenital kidney disease should also get tested as early as possible. Do everything in moderation, including eating sugary food, smoking, alcohol use, etc. Drink enough water generally & even more if you sweat a lot in your work or do long vigorous exercises. |
Hmmmmmm |
Ah Ah! This is disgusting. |
Beremx:Good that you are a lady saying this. We know from the son's statement that Col Etoromi paid her bride price then. In our African culture, we are paternal. Not all marriages work out. If it doesn't, do not use the kids as bullets in the ugly divorce fight. It hardly ever turn out well for the kids. Before the son can throw stones at his dad, let him have a successful marriage lasting 30 years first. If the man had many wives, i wonder if Stella was totally unaware before marrying him. If she was abused, she left him & that is a good thing. But 25 years plus was enough time to heal & move on peacefully. |
CrazyQuinn:I like honest people. She's only saying what majority believe but dare not say openly just to appear nice. ![]() |
The guy took the job literally. ![]() |
Geesos! Evil everywhere. |
Na wa o |
beautiful232:My dear, I tire o. |
The visit makes sense. If her predecessor had not been sent packing for being too close to IBB, Aisha would never have married Bubu. Aisha also did not suffer the anguish of uncertainty following the coup. Therefore, a "thank you" visit is in order. ![]() But the cane/koboko used to lash Iyale is kept in a nice, cool dry place for Iyawo too. |
Justiyke4u:Simple. Those who keep controlling the centre will lose power, influence & most importantly oil wells & oil money. And guess what: the controllers are also those with the power to restructure. Will a hawk give up the chick in its claws easily? ![]() |
kindredspirit:Seconded |
Madam Phonetic Kemi, you said so ma. @4:24-4:25 that "recession is a word". It does not matter if explaining something. This is suggesting that people's suffering is nothing. How can people you trivialise their misery support you? |
cekhoe:Lol@gyrating. |
Keneking:Apir seems to be almost quoting our posts over the past one year & even pre-election here. Nothing new. Only surprise is that he's an APC member. |
Abeg, where is our Kenyan friend on Nairaland o. ![]() |
With all this politics, how can they produce students fit for purpose? |
Well, posterity will be very kind to GEJ. Because with time, the need to tarnish his image to cover up ruling govt failure will not be there. The scale of his work will be assessed objectively. Even the corruption he is so much accused of will be put side by side with that of IBB, Abacha, OBJ and others. Then the truth will set people free. |
anigbajumo:Do you even know the difference between GDP and government revenue? Many people do not know. The total worth of goods and services, including Baba Onikeke's income, Dangote, Cocoa farmers in Ondo, Plantain farmers in Edo, millet farmers in Kebbi, spare parts dealers, hotels, roadside buka, etc. Per year. They make up around 70% of our GDP. If we all relied on oil income that go into few hands, 9ja would be in perpetual hunger. FG income from oil is what is circa 70% of total govt income, not GDP.. Learn the difference first before you argue. Even diaspora people send over $20 billion dollars home yearly. Can the FG budget much higher than income? How much is 9ja budget in dollars? |
tafabaloo:As in Esu Worldwide or Regional HQ? ![]() |
HomeOfMe:Yep. They came in with so much hate and bigotry but bereft of ideas. Hate can help you brainwash tribalistic/sectarian Nigerians but it cannot help you formulate and implement good policies for national development. It is now becoming obvious to them that whatever the flaws in GEJ's policies & implementations, most of his policies were well-thought through: agric policy, removal of fuel subsidy, continued and new ideas on national rail, e-payment to wield out ghost workers, less effort to pursue corrupt people but instead stop corruption from happening, FOI Bill, free and fair elections, respect for legal pronouncements, etc. Yet, they demonised all BUT now gradually coming back to them. But they will have wasted much time by then. Despite all claim of corruption against GEJ's govt, Nigerian economy grew fast. Fuelled by private sector boom. Petrol/oil is less than 30% of our GDP. So Nigeria's massive growth was not based on oil, but sound policies, lead by an international economist of repute, NOI. If we have less oil income, should policy makers not carefully consider that fact first? |
