Christianity Etc › Re: Korede Taiwo Who Was Chained In Ogun By His Pastor Father Speaks by AreaFada2:
davodyguy:
Even though I want to condemn the pastor, but there's something devilish about this boy.

At age 9, he has been stealing like this, boys like him ends up becoming Anini, Oyenusi and Boko haram/Niger Delta Scavenger.

Serious something should be done about this child.
How many of his school mates would he have stolen from? Countless I should guess.

Being bold enough to steal EBA andnpot of stew? Na wa oo

Anyway, he should be rehabilitated and watched carefully

Whilst we grew up back then, there were some terrible kids that were notorious in class. Their parents do all they can to support, but they're not like the biblical Samuel at all.

I had a cousin too, who normally stole from everyone back in the early 90s, despite being fed very well and given stipends. He continued such a terrible act until a strong deliverance was done on him sometime in 1997. He eventually stopped that act. Married now with 2 kids and staying in Dublin.kids should be watched and trained properly, including chastisement mildly to correct them back to track
Some kids just have a challenging behaviour. And most parents and society are ill-equipped to help. Parents are in fact OYO.
Punishment does not help.

Starvation and lack of love (especially by step mum) would have worsened his behaviour. It takes a lot to love a difficult child that is not yours. Simple truth.

Ignorance and over-religiosity are not helping.

Everything is put down to spiritual problem, when clear physical and emotional issues have not been addressed.

@your cousin, some kids go through a phase of rascality that eventually subsides.
Also, that "deliverance" might just have demonstrated the love and care he felt was absent previously.

A lot of kids perceive many things parents do as lack of love: punishment, verbal complaints to correct them, criticism, etc. Money, food, gifts and others given them make no difference. Yep, all those things parents do out of love to prepare kids for the future are perceived wrongly.
Even kids as young as 6.

One has to watch out.

The only one who seems bitter is the man being interviewed. Its clear he has been stewing in bile all these years and is out to exact revenge. You cant govern a country on emotions alone you know. Be has not shown any serious problem solving skills, objectivity or any maturity as far as Im concerned .
How can he?

From 1987 or so when he left jairtair till 2015, where did you see him brokering peace, monitoring election, giving a lecture on governance, doing a degree, giving a lecture on democracy or any such thing that gives introspection, analysis of time in power anywhere in 9ja, Africa or any other continent? NONE.

You don't learn or improve yourself by just shuttling between Daura, Kaduna & Abuja, occasionally weeping to be handed power to rule, stirring up religious zealotry on Sharia & sulking rest of the time.

While looking after a herd of cattle might be satisfying, it hardly prepares one for the presidency of a complex country like 9ja. cheesy grin

Okay o o...I and the person I quoted below still maintain my adopted rule of thumb - Do not mix family with business. I do not even want to find out if they are beasts or not. I have seen enough cases and heard enough stories.
So true.

That way, family will be reporting any unusual things they see. Which of course family members could have done worse. Let family be your watchdog. Not do the work. You can hire & fire an outside contractor. With family, it could cause bad blood for ever.

Let every step be broken down: like roofing include number of sheets, nail types/quantity, wood, transport, workmanship, supervision fees, etc. Same for ceiling, plumbing, etc All the way from foundation stage using the building plan to estimate.

The more lump sum you send, the more the impression you have more money to send.

NEVER do that. We have gone through all that before, talking from experience.

Your cousin might be honest, but hard to know now.

Ask for breakdown. Another person can do another estimate to compare.

His Govt achieve so much in 8yrs', with the presence of corruption
Mr. Dullard has spent close to 4yrs and we cant link any project to him grin
Please remind us what he achieved.

His failure to handover to an elected civilian govt makes him a major villain in 9ja history.

4get the $12 billion plus Gulf oil windfall he took within a short time for now. Let's even 4get how he ruined the economy & Naira.

His former master Buhari who gave him the chance to ruin it, is currently ruining what is left of economy & Naira.

Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu Formally Returns To APC by AreaFada2: 7:40am On Jul 24, 2016
HungerBAD:
Once upon a time.

There use to be a very honest man called Nuhu Ribadu, a well respected Police Officer from the great Ribadu Family. He lived an exemplary life, free from corruption and he was a great public servant who helped shaped what the present day EFCC is.

Then one day, ANGEL SATAN came to him and showed and promised him all the pleasures of the World, if only he could just JOIN the PDP Party. And so a very honest man, got deceived by the Devil, and he agreed to join the brotherhood of thieves called the PDP Party.

But he is an Honorable Man, who has seen the Light from ANGEL GABRIEL, and has now come back to his senses. Welcome back home Nuhu Ribadu, and make sure you SIN no more.
Sometimes this cont3 dey tire person.

Just when you think good, at least one man seems to have integrity, they just disappoint you.

You were a presidential candidate of one party, you lost & then returned to old party to contest as governor. Then lost & returned to second party again. Haba! Is seeking political relevance such an obsession?

After leaving PDP, he should have stayed in ACN/APC to build it. He would at least be a minister now. Perhaps one that would be delivering the goods in this rather ineffectual current FG.

This flip-flop means no ideology, no more principles, nothing. His EFCC days will soon look like a fluke, which it was NOT.

It is a let-down to the younger generation really. Shows we are not better principled than the recycled waste running our affairs now. shocked shocked

The lady should be screened for PGAD or persistent genital arousal disorder. Sometimes caused by sacro-spinal Tarlov cyst.

Though PGAD is not usually linked to sex or thought of sex, it could be that sex was just a coincidental trigger. Especially important to know if it has happened, even to a lesser extent, without sex before.

Hope they can see an expert physician.

But many younger ones these days just have an inordinate sense of entitlement and expect "ready-made" food.

My advice?

The biggest mistake any woman can make, is to let their kid(s)grow up without a father figure in the lives. 7 out of 10 of such kids, usually do not turn out well in life.

No matter their differences, the father should have been allowed to be here with him on this day.
To begin with, knowing your incompatibility, his coke habit (Tiwa said so in video) and others, you went about starting a family. Kids belong to God, but we decide to have them.

Parents (mostly women) often put their hurt b4 the child, don't encourage kids to be close to estranged hubby.

Sad.

I remember Okonjo Iweala warning us in the last regime about the econmy, the issue is even if Jonathan still remains the President, this thing about the economy will still have affected us. God bless Nigeria
Maybe, but not so badly. Despite lower oil price, crude oil would have been flowing steady. Because militants were kept in check.

NOI warning meant she was good and foresaw difficulties ahead. That is the first step towards preparing for it. GEJ would have together with NOI and CBN gov worked out a reasonable way forward. Not dictating from ASO Rock without a proper economic team and a rookie finance minister to boot. grin

Saudi, Algeria and others are affected by low oil prices too. And they are still not living on their foreign reserve entirely. So depleted reserve is not entirely responsible.

Low oil output and poor economic policies are chiefly to blame
