There is alternative

EAT IT!

Deut 14:22 Each year, you shall separate the tithes out of all your crops which spring forth from the earth.
23 And you shall eat these in the sight of the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, so that his name may be invoked there: the tenth part of your grain and wine and oil, and the firstborn from the herds and your sheep. So may you learn to fear the Lord your God at all times.
There is nothing like tithes. UNLESS you are a farmer!

Some brainwashed people will say "oh, give 10% of whatever you earn since we're not farmers now. Wrong. Over 70% of Nigerians live in rural areas and most still farm. It is NOT biblical to tithe non-farmers.

Don't assume what you think you should do to replace the Bible's instruction. Follow The Bible. We're not better than Bible writers.

In biblical times, there were lawyers, Physicians, clergy, soldiers etc. They were not asked to pay tithes.

Non-farmers can financially support the church, widows, orphans and so on in other ways. NOT tithes. It's clear in the Bible.

It appears this Timi Frank is speaking for many silent & timid APC leaders.

Many are still relaxing in APC because presidential election is still 3 years away.

By same time in 2018, many will be back in PDP.
Especially Northerners nursing presidential ambition.

Persecuting Saraki is not out of love for 9ja. There are many worse than saraki in APC. It's about teaching him a lesson for defying Tinibu & Buhari.
In a normal society, it should take like 5min for emergency system to respond to this issue and being a police officer, it may even take less time! But in Nigeria, that officer may just die while lying on the ground, there is no emergency to call and ordinary citizen will be so afraid to render help (people will think along the line of "what if I help and hin con die?"wink.[/quote]

Sadly that fear is sadly justified. Especially that the "victim" is even a police man. Anyone so arrested might not return alive.

isn't that wickedness? After six solid years of up and down, six years isn't six days, what about the abortions?

Some guys are devil incarnate.
But wait, would you want a guy that does not love you or find you attractive anymore to marry you? Out of pity?

While it is seriously painful, he probably did his ex a lot of good. Better not to marry than have one or two kids and then get divorced.

Moving on would be slightly easier for the babe without a divorce record and no little kids in tow.

I think the kind, supportive girl and her family deserve better than a hubby & son-in-law out of pity.

Girls should not wait till eternity to get married. If he's not proposing in appropriate time, move on.

Business › Re: The Nigerian Naira Failed To Respond To The Euphoria That Came With The Signing by AreaFada2: 8:16am On May 08, 2016
helpee:
there is nothing magical about it. Simple economics. It just shows the investors dont trust the budget . When news break, currencies all over the world react either positively or negatively. For example, if they believe the signing of the budget will strengthen naira against dollar, speculators holding dollars will want to sell in anticipation of rise in naira. Investors can inject money into the system in anticipation of govt spending for their products and services. This can happen in minutes self. It has nothing to do with implementation. So, if the naira is not excited the budget is signed, it means investors dont believe in your budget and that is not too good a news
So you think just anyone posting must know what they are talking about?

Even release of employment figures in USA, Germany, UK, Japan, etc can wipe currency traders on the floor or make them big bucks within minutes. Here, the release of a long awaited "messianic" budget only caused a slight fall in Naira value.

Maybe the parrot taking news of budget signing to the markets is flying on its way. grin cheesy
Business › Re: The Nigerian Naira Failed To Respond To The Euphoria That Came With The Signing by AreaFada2:
Quakertellicus1:
Expected.

The thing is....the Naira won'trise because of budget. The naira would only rise if there is enough foreign exchange to buffer it up.

And the only way to get a stable source of forex is by spending more on power, transport and education, so that we can develop an innovation based economy.

Agric has had its day.As has oil.
It was the CBN guy who raised the stakes saying Naira will be stronger as soon as budget is signed. He did not say after 24 hours or 4 months. So individuals can take it as they think soon enough. And rightly so.

Govt spending money it does not have doesn't make the currency stronger.

Draconian policies also don't. Liquidating dollar savings means the govt cannot be trusted to protect your money, whatever currency it is legally saved in.

Creating jobs, innovation, enabling business environment, diversified economy, increased FDI and a strong and independent judiciary do.

How much is the salary of Oba and what is the constitutional role of Oba apart from marrying plenty wives, in a democracy.
Oba only gets a stipend. Under 10 million yearly. But gifts and stuff from subjects, visitors and well wishers can be a lot more.

It really is not about money at all. Most have been successful businessmen, top civil servants/ military officers, ambassadors, etc. Wealthy enough in their own right.

In 9ja constitution, monarchs are custodians of history, culture, tradition and custom. They broker peace between feuding politicians thereby calming the polity. They also settle land disputes, family and community disputes.

Don't underestimate their reach and influence. Especially first class Obas/Emirs/Obis/Obongs.

That is the key here. Such anal atresia can have multiple associated anomalies. Even spinal anomaly included.

The paper is very fake. Clearly made up by people outside Edo. Since Oba Ewuare (ruled 1440-1473), there has never been any serious dispute over succession.

Succession has always been by male primogeniture. Eldest son only. Same applies to ALL dukes of the Kingdom and all hereditary chiefs.

First thing is for women to get their priorities right. Pick up hints of violence early. Some say he suddenly changed after marriage. That's VERY rare. Women only chose to ignore those little signs.

Well, if a guy lives abroad, whenever he's around, you keep late nights under guise of red carpets. What time will they spend together then?

A man has to think: if she keeps so much late night when I'm around, when we need to spend quality time together, only Gods knows how many times she sleeps at home when I'm not around.

Several Nollywood actresses have confirmed that quite a lot of up & coming actresses sleep with producers for roles.

Long distance relationship with a young aspiring 9ja actress, hardly ideal if are not having an open relationship.

Well, the best thing for now is to leave oil inside the ground where it is. Until a generation that can judiciously use it comes along.

Nigeria is now an oil junky. Like any junky, it cannot make good decisions.

Nigeria should develop other sources of revenue.

Better still, oil should become irrelevant if oyinbo can find cheaper alternatives. I guess by then, we will know if Nigeria only has oil unity or the various tribes are really so madly in love with each other to continue to co-exist.

What seems daft from where you're sitting comfortably might not be at all daft from another person's position.

Well, after 56 years, I'm sure there are many who would disagree.

As long as politicians refuse to tackle how Nigerians should co-exist, there will be insurgents or militants springing up here and there.

There are too many disenfranchised people to recruit from.

IBB's "doctrine of settled issues" about Nigeria really haven't been discussed let alone "settled".

Even an old country like UK has devolved powers to home nations of Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland. Even Scotland had the chance to vote for independence not even up to 3 years ago.

Centralisation that puts national wealth in the hands of a few will never take us anywhere.

When you ask her what you stand to gain, she will ask you, " Do you expect me to sell my body before you help me " ?

Now, tell me who gains in all of this ?
So the thing na really common thing.

One lady I just chatted with barely a month wanted I think 160k within two weeks. With deadline set. grin A girl dumped by a guy and is a single mother and student. Not even 23 yet. Lots of ladies never care if you invest or not. They just want your money. They also want you already made: house, ride, investment, cash flow. grin

The ease with which they ask money is scary.
