EgunMogaji:ok cool |
daveante28:Lol. Exactly. ![]() |
Reason why there should be proper driving lessons and rigorous exam before licence can be had. It comes down to which side of road you should keep. Right of way. With this basic rule & knowledge, the one without right of way will shift. Everything doesn't have to be done jungle style. ![]() |
staaan:@ Egunmogaji, Are you familiar with this area? Any worries of being committed land? I was lucky to have done thorough land checks a few years back. The land was right behind a popular Pentecostal church along a Federal Highway. It turned out to be government land, the whole area. ![]() |
agarawu23:Well, I checked this thread for about 5 days to a week after my post, no pics from you. Timeliness is very important. You see, there are very many properties on the market. It is always a buyers market. I have seen very attractive offers since then. From Abeokuta to Lekki to Ikotun. And I'm sure keen property people like Oko Afusat would also have. ![]() When your ads catch people's attention, exploit the moment and provide what they need or politely promise to. First impressions count a lot. |
agarawu23:Maybe the guy just invented marriage. ![]() |
ZKOSOSO:And it wasn't headline news. Hear him "we even handed them over to the police". Even? Like seriously? Police are the last people you want to handle corruption case assuming it is true. Police will collect their share and release them. Why not EFCC or ICPC? And he cannot name & shame the parastatal. Who is he protecting? |
otokx:Well APC that promised manner from heaven have to face it, no excuse. They saw it all before standing for election. A big rebuilding needs initial pulling down of old structures. But Oduah was hounded out of office over reasonable bullet proof cost. As a minister stepping on big toes to make a difference, including looking foreign airlines eyeball to eyeball over rip off air ticket prices paid by Nigerians, her ministry directors were right to be concerned for her safety. But the Judases of Nigerian representing foreign interest for a bowl of porridge did not like that. After Oduah left, all went down. 8 months is enough to have a concrete plan for the airport. ![]() Splashme: |
Not so rosy sir. We lost about a thousand chickens almost at point of lay last September/October. Despite building and maintenance using Animal Care recommended standards. Suspect fake/expired vaccines though. Xmas broiler sale wasn't bad sha. ![]() |
Let me start selecting a Muslim name just in case. Because when push come to shove, if you have another name, you will be a 5th class citizen. ![]() Now all the capital restriction make sense. Aboki is using so-called educated Southerners. Soon there will be no more loans or deposits with interest. Brace yourselves folks. If not because Lamido Sanusi is now Sarkin, he would have returned to CBN to complete the agenda. No wonder they selected a compliant rookie as finance minister. |
Boeing777pilot:But you know over-inflation is a common thing not only in 9ja. Even when I have someone do any project on my behalf, I expect up to 15% inflation. Sad but reality. I have been cheated with about 65% before. I found out & stopped the project. With the rot in 9ja political offices, 30% kick back/inflation would be expected. As long as the work is actually done. Not great, but better than siphoning all the money. ![]() |
daretodiffer:Thank you for your insults, well-done madam. |
daretodiffer:I won't say much any more. Having a few mb doesn't mean you can step on everybody's toe. Since you refuse to heed warning. I'm nobody o. Absolutely nobody. But you will know better later. |
daretodiffer:Hope you don't want to take this matter more personal than it is. Be warned. |
daretodiffer:Victim as in rape or what? Very unladylike to ask people if they are crazy for offering their opinion. You have no monopoly over opinion. |
daretodiffer:Lady, instead of shouting back at guys here, better learn from it. So that you do not make a similar mistake. Guys are just saying it how it is. Neither you nor I can change that. 30 years back, polygamy was still very common. "Poly-womany" is still very much around, even if not all under one roof. If one woman walks away, lots of women are ready to take her place, especially if the guy is comfortable. ![]() |
Women just don't like the truth. But I tell them anyway. Most guys will have another babe outside. Shikena. Instead some guys keep a second family outside because wife at home might never accept that reality. I realised that the day I found out that a gentle cool guy was dating a girl near my house. Some years ago now. His very loving pretty wife should be enough for an average guy. With 2 kids. But no. I'm sure she (his wife) doesn't know till today. She praises him to high heavens. ![]() |
otokx:That place requires bigger investment. Cows have been invading that PH airport since OBJ's time. ![]() What baffles me is people expected GEJ to do all the things that wasn't done in the 50 years before that. Very hypocritical. We saw many aviation ministers before Oduah. To be objective, place their performances side by side & compare. |
Boeing777pilot:That said, if you have regularly used our airports in the past 25 years, you will agree they were better during Oduah's time. |
TonyeBarcanista:Nor be only handwork of Gurd, na left blokors work of Lucifer. ![]() |
Houseofglam7:Those yahoo guys are not silly. They can still have women of their choice there, na to settle warders, nor be 9ja we dey? Some will be looking for connections from him sef. Because the case will go nowhere. He might be let off like Saraki later. After the IGG, dem go tire. You cannot be rearing cockroaches in your house & spray Shettus and Raid anyhow. GMB has too many corrupt people in his cabinet. With Naira trading at around £1 = 395 to 400 Naira, I doubt if Nigerian economy is benefitting from the corruption pseudo-fight. ![]() |
Who has time for any Odyssey these days with girls everywhere? If you form too much, before you say jack, he might even already have a better wife material. ![]() Sometimes a girl will be playing hard to get to a responsible guy while at the same time, one useless NFA Indian hemp guy is shining her thing mercilessly on daily basis. ![]() Leave matter for Matthias jor. |
bebe2:He does seemingly. But not done business with him yet. Always the one I want get snapped up before I get someone to go inspect. All those Abijo/Ibeju/Lakowe nor be here distance wise. To get somebody from mainland leave job/business nor easy. |
RIP |
Pidggin:Abi o. |
bebe2:Bebe my sister, not far at all o. I got no reply so far. ![]() Happy new year. By the way, I saw your thread on buying in 9ja or UK. If you consider Lagos, Egbeda/Alimosho area is cool. You might get a 4 x 3 bed flats building at 22m, or 20m if you search wide enough. With C of O. Ok maybe little renovation/painting etc. A flat can command 250k/annum = 1m. Short of 1.2m but not bad. Though tenants can be a nightmare sometimes. I'm currently spending money on lawyer to evict a tenant. Nor be to pay owed 8 months even be the discussion now, just to go. ![]() |
trav:You can get ahead, many people with exotic names do these days. Passing CV selection stage is the koko. Once on the job, the rest is hard work & luck. Barack Obama is not exactly all-American name. Yet he's chilling in white house. Her brother Chiwetel proudly bears his surname. |
When you hear people who have been in and out political power for 50 years and failed woefully each time, still mention act of God, you seriously have to admire God for his patience. Otherwise thunder would have struck many by now. ![]() |
vault:A big AMEN to that. ![]() |
menix:You sef be another. 1 m not enough to manage for wedding? 1 haba! If you don't earn like 10m a year, then that's extremely extravagant. Maybe better that she's gone. She must have been high maintenance lady. Or you formed big boy all along. Talking of peer pressure, were you not under same to stage an ostentatious wedding? ![]() |
mrking3:Maybe Mr Umukoro donated palm oil, Mama Akporire brought pepper, Aunty Tega brought salt and so on. Na Christian group people na. ![]() Fact is he got married. |
Some marriages will not succeed. Fact. It can start well or bad. That is no real indication. People change. To positive or negative. People lose interest. Also, priorities change. Your pretty wife might not be that pretty in 10 years, compared to your new young colleague at work. ![]() A woman who depends on hubby now for money can get a VERY well-paid job in two years. And change with it. In all na luck. If your religion makes you get determination to make it work, fine. Most of our forefathers that had marriages for 70 years were traditional worshipers. So let's not make it look as though only Middle Eastern religions have the answer. |
