The APC walked out on principles and morality grounds. But, why did the PDP walkout?to promote corruption? Because there allegations of 70 Billion corruption against Amaechi. Some of it used to outbribe Atiku during APC primaries. Why is this walking out not on principle? |

HungerBAD: Interesting seeing them make a Political/Personal Mockery of themselves.
That Reuben Abati, sometimes, i think was the first to see the hand- writing on the Wall that selling Jonathan to Nigerian's would have been an Herculean task, and had decided not to put too much effort in promoting the brand JONATHAN to Nigerian's
He is a wise man.
The fallout of Jonathan's losing the election, has broken bonds and friendship, and it will continue doing so for a long time. Those intending to go into Politics, should study the PDP Model on NOT WHAT TO DO IN POLITICS and learn. The irony of the PDP fallout, is that aside their TOP MEN, taking shots at each other.
Their foot soldiers too, like Barcanista and co. are having their own fall outs down there too. Since the same PDP people like Atiku, Saraki, El-Rufai, Amaechi, Tambuwa, Kwakwanso, navigator OBJ and others now populate APC, APC have even a bigger lesson to learn. |

SenatePresdo: With the confirmation of Amechi as a minister, I will deduce that Buhari's campaign on corruption is a Hoax. It was a scam all along. The played on Nigerians' fears and sentiments, like insecurity and corruption. In better climes, Amaechi would be seen as carrying too much of a baggage. A major distraction. To be in an "anti-corruption" government. He doesn't have to have been convicted. Ministers & govt officials in other places even resign to focus on clearing their names when accused. But we have the lowest standards in politics. |

Medical bills at least? If they cannot pay bill and pay this girl around 50 million Naira, then they are all useless people, from APC god in Aso Rock Buhari to the smallest PHCN rat. If Buhari's grandchild was injured like this, she would have been flown to "Western Germany" for treatment by now. |

bronzegoddess: Too long.
Nigerian men are not scared of rich girls, they are scared of girls richer than them. Yes, nigerian men take ladies for granted if they initiate romantic gestures and stuff. Even if he wasn't into the girl prior to the girl asking him out, he'll force himself to tolerate her just to get whatever he can. Men will always be men, they can never turn a woman down. You have little experience with real men. Irrespective of your age and or marital status. I have turned down some pretty ladies. Reasons were simple: (1) They were work colleagues. I don't date at work. (2)I never liked one of them to begin with. She thought she was some supermodel until a dressed her down in a quarrel one day. Nothing on earth was ever going to make me date her. Ladies yearn for what they cannot get. Another was even prettier. From her history, she wasn't a faithful girl. I would never even hit and run a possible public toilet, irrespective of beauty. (3) Others again at work. For ethical reasons I could not. So babe, don't use the standards of those guys you meet to judge all. |

See what this cursed police man is saying. That is the report they got. Do they expect the trigger happy illiterate to say he willingly shot her?
The woman tried to take away his gun? Really? This story still sells in Nigeria?
There is no Nigerian who does not avoid the Murderous Nigerian Police Men.
When you have a country where you must have been a looser on every other profession and occupation,
before you consider the Police, this is what you get. A police force where there is wanton cheating during their exams. A police force where
as a woman you have to sleep with your boss to get promotion otherwise you are sent to the road traffic unit.
Also, please make it a law. Any hospital that rejects a gun shot victim, should be sanctioned. As long as it can be proven that they have the
manpower and equipment to offer first aid.
Why do we make life so cheap?
Anyway, the hotel should have a security camera. Witnesses should be many. FG in 9ja is basically nonsense. Don't expect anything managed federally to be any good. It's all about oil money, not building institutions. RIP to the tragic lady. The evil policeman deserves to be hanged. |

Nemerulez: If her husband is a good man, sincere, kind, supportive, why not. Women are very considerate and loyal partners and would go all the way, if they see that their husband's got them.
More vibes at nemerulez..com Every woman automatically has excellent qualities and can collect money? No man has those and all men must fulfil certain criteria first before getting money if in need? Wonderful! Why do I smell hypocrisy? FYI, most men are way too proud to depend on women. While most ladies have no qualms depending on men. Apart from a few lazy oafs, it takes serious misfortune and emasculation for men to need a lady's money. And when he truly needs it temporarily, don't rub it in his face. |

janellemonae: Ur comments are inaccurate. Zik & Awo planned on working together before independence against d majority northerners. Zik betrayed awo during d elections by merging wt d north.
In case u dont know awolowo hated northerners. Akintola hated igbos and liked northerners. Azikiwe became president & watched awo DRAGGED into prison. Im sure Awo came to his senses real quick. Azikiwe did d exact same thing to his northern partners by travelling on a prolonged meeting on dt fateful night in 1966. The scale fell from everyones eyes. Gowon released awo & made him finance minister.
The other republic we had in nigeria, d north merged parties wt d SE again. Despite a massacre & a civil war. Shagari came into power. No southwesterner voted for him. Pls who is d slave? U think pple are blind & werent watching all this drama?
When mko was anulled, all igbos ran from lagos while yorubas were rioting, nadeco was screaming & brave guys were facing ibb in d face of assasinations & imprisonment. They never kept quiet till IBB had to resign. Finally democracy came & obj was in power. Yorubas didnt like him but everyone heaved a sigh of relief & all d past became stories.
This is a new dispensation where u play politricks to win. You have refused to join d game but to insult other tribes. Yorubas just entered this insult business wt u. Weve all bn going to d same churches & marrying each other all these yrs. If u insult yorubas for voting APC, they wont mind, or even call them hausa slave. Anyone dt has sense can see dt only two things brought out dis anger against igbos: calling lagos no mans land & dissing an oba. These are seen as sacrilegious & is d ONLY source of dis hate. Anything else dt is said is fuelled from dt. FACT! Lol. You wrote a lot and said little. Despite who wanted to work with whom and who wanted not, fact is: two of the most formidable sons of Africa of the last 100 years, Zik & Awo did not work together to lift not just Nigeria up, but Africa as a whole. You were not there and I was not there before independence. The reasons and explanations are all subjective and academic. We have heard all before. Fact is their failure was a tragedy we never recovered from. Just in case you don't know. The gang up against Zik to prevent him standing for election in the West is said to have changed his view of SW people. Hitherto, Zik, born/raised in the North & worked with Macauley in Lagos was a quintessential nationalist. In fact he was the only dreamer among the big 4 then, who believed only in one Nigeria, devoid of tribal stuff. Awo already said "Nigeria is a mere geographical expression". And as usual he was on point, a thoroughbred realist. Ahmadu Bello only saw Nigeria as Uthman dan Fodio's Estate. Balewa was Bello's boy, who was prime minister because Bello couldn't be bothered mixing with those infidels in Lagos parliament. We had parliamentary system then. Zik had to leave SW to achieve his political dream in Eastern region. That realisation that only tribe and NOT nationalism matters scarred him for life. We should try to dispassionately unravel the past origins of our failure. I am not Igbo by the way. |

PedroJP: But dat Kwankwaso no dey fear oo. Came and insulted them on their land. Na so d master slave relationship reach ? Because he knows SW have no choice. SW need the North for political relevance. The North knows that even Zik & Awo, as educated and progressive as they were, couldn't work together. That SE can hardly trust SW politically, and SW prefer to be at the mercy of the North, than that of SE. The North has figured out the political terrain very accurately. SW knowing they have no choice, some of their leaders often quickly come and relativise any Northern insults on SW. That is the sad truth. |
