No taboo between man & woman in their matrimonial bed. As long as she doesn't scream another man's name. ![]() |
omonnakoda:I disagree. Kano & Kaduna perform very poorly. Except of course Kano is not as populated as we're made to believe during Census. Kano that is said to have same or more population than Lagos has a lower IGR than Edo State. It just doesn't add up. We also know that the ethnic and religious mix of Kwara/Kogi differ much from Kano, and a little from Kaduna too. The North should not hide between Kogi & Kwara. Nasarawa can emulate Ogun State, harnessing its proximity to Lagos and benefit from proximity to Abuja. Kaduna should be a very industrialised hub too. Considering how strategic it is. |
Good for the heediot |
espn:In Sweden, after 10 years on the run, you can even get away with murder. If you were never sentenced. ![]() But if it was in US, this guy would make some serious dough o. |
asdfjklhaha:Good idea. I hope things work out for her. But I think her relationship with OP is more complex than just platonic. She enjoys flirting with him, giving him hope. If OP had not waited for too long, it could have been a different story. If OP wasn't looking for love, this relationship could result in ocassional sex, devoid of love on her part. Just a possibility. As it is now, OP is a kind of mug/woman wrapper to her. She is now too sure of his love, maybe even a hint of desperation. She now holds the ace card. In the love stakes, ladies don't find that attractive in a man. OP, get a girlfriend and move on. |
DropShot:Don't forget those three states also have large presence of oil company offices/HQs. With Lagos having a far more varied economy in addition. Kaduna & Kano surprise me. These should be Northern industrial and financial hub. Edo State even generates more than each of them. |
kaorama:See judgemental people. And many do the most horrible things in secret. At least she was honest about her ways. What did Jesus say about casting the first stone? |
OK. Engine pix and location please. |
LaraiBoluwaji:Well, societies evolve and so do values. Once there was nothing like bf/gf but now widely accepted. I cannot really trust the trend at the rate things are going. Now here, you have gay hubbies/wives now. And accepted. Human/animal marriage might become acceptable within decades in some places. |
LaraiBoluwaji:Polygamy is no more trendy. But it was important in agricultural societies. More wives = more sons + more sons-in-laws = bigger farms. ![]() |
Cutehector:When we Africans copy things, we do it very extreme usually. Religion is becoming divisive. I grew up catholic, but today I worship in any church that's near to me residence, usually Anglican. I can't see the difference much. My female friend from the East had a similar experience last year. Her family didn't let her marry a nice Pentecostal guy who wanted to marry her. Today she's at home there. |
Hannysmilez:Actually, it happens in most religions. Between Shia & Sunni, between Sufist and Shia, between Sindhi Hindus & other Hindus etc. |
Na wa. But you kinda knew the man he is before trad wedding. Hope he changes. Deliver and nurture your baby in the loving environment of your mum first. Try to sort the rest later. |
This has been happening for decades jor. Many of those Agric loans back in the day were mostly so approved. They even request higher percentages, like up to 50%, in those govt loans that they know won't be paid back. They will even tell you how to avoid paying back the money. It has "tey". 9ja corruption situation nor be here o. We can blame govt as we like, but it's national problem somehow involving almost everyone/sector. Willingly/knowingly or not. |
@Jonnydon22, if APC admit that they painted GEJ black just to get to power, they didn't really know the scale of Boko and that they are in fact clueless regarding Boko Haram, the ever magnanimous good people of 9ja would forgive them and work with them. Until then, that cannot happen because politics was played with the lives of thousands and the fear of Nigerians. And billions of people's money lost in stock market. Honesty is what we need from APC now, not more lies and Propaganda. |
autotrader014:Ok |
misspicy:Our ancestors did happily. And they managed to create great Kingdoms: Oyo, Benin, Songhai, Kanem Borno and more. We that are wise and marry for so-called love, what have we achieved? 50% divorce rate, 50% of first born kids belonging to another man, fake hair, imported goods, boko Haram, corruption etc. We're not necessarily happier. Whereas our polygamous ancestors' achievements like Eredo walls, Benin moats/ramparts and arts, Ife arts, etc still marvel the world. NOTE: My grandfather was monogamous, my dad too. |
PunkyVeer:Abi o. You wonder what these people will not complain of. But you know him better. Is he somehow insecure? Does he need sex to re-assert or re-assure himself of your loyalty? Or has he been generally in top gear? Has anything changed in his life, like employment issues or general dissatisfaction with other important aspect of his life? |
omusiliyu:Not necessarily true. There's usually more than one on duty. When it's a bit quiet, a 20 or 30 minutes snooze does wonders. Especially between 1 and 4am. A very tired medic is more likely to make mistakes with certain decisions, especially if no seniors around. |
wman:No mind them jor. Instead of drawing on one rope & forging ahead together. I met another 19-year old 9ja university chic contesting for this same Brent council over 10 years ago. I don't know if she won then. She must have inspired this one. However, the position is not mostly paid. But you get your expenses paid. |
Soknown:Well, the Chinese will soon "discover" more miles of the Great wall to reclaim this record. When Benin Kingdom Moats and Ramparts were declared mankind's greatest engineering feat, the Chinese quickly "discovered" more miles of the Great wall. ![]() Well, the Yoruba have political power at the centre and can promote & harness this. Nigerian government wasn't interested in minority people's ancient achievement like Benin one. All the UNESCO World Heritage sites were fought for by dogged Benin people and some foreigners. In modern times, we would be waiting for Western help to help us build, in vain. ![]() |
Ok |
Dude is this car also in Egbeda? |
Hardeyghold:A pic of engine would be nice. |
ellabooz:My dear, abi o. All don soak in blood o. Hope they are dancing and feasting in enjoyment. |
Location? Year built? Anything to fix? |
wealth123:OP, they could hv at least cleaned the back seat na. How much will the AC compressor cost? Any other issues? |
Any issues? Location? |
So coded prostitution is now officially accepted by many 9ja ladies. Na wao. Also carrying the tittle "most unfaithful women in the world". Sadly these young ones in the name of "open eye" have dragged 9ja women's name into the mud. It seems the prostitutes by the roadside deserve our respect. At least they're not hiding behind relationship. |
pinceprinz:Very simplistic assumption. The normal (not ugly) girl has lived a more realistic life. A life where you have to be more rounded and make your way through impeccable character. And he knows when he meets a more rounded lady. Whereas the one considered pretty has been pretty much pampered by men generally. Both potentially serious & hit-and-run men. It takes time for most to know the liabilities of beauty. By then, the normal girl has already used her good character to land the most eligible guy. ![]() Remember most handsome guys will have dated pretty girls before. |
