and Oprah too ![]() take a look at it after you are done. If it is not S shape, eat more fiber S shaped all the way |
There is a kid between both of you right? Ask him for upkeep or to increase what he is currently paying and see if he will come near you. Girl, shine ya eyes and don't allow him eat cakes from both side. |
also, some ogbono do not draw that much eg ogiri (a kind of ogbono) another thing is old ogbono. get some real ogbono from the igbo traders. they are lightish brown or brownish without the dustlike stuff. |
i do like it but not love it. i like it without all those A1 sauce + brown sugar and the likes. Give me plain half ribs and broccoli. |
Yeah dear Yam amala- a bit lightish brown not as brown as plaintain elubo. Plaintain amala- very dark brown (the only one i tried and loved, has a nice aroma too) some do use yam skin: the color can sometime be offish light yellow casava elubo- pale white color some people use what they call popo (comes from filtering pressed cassava) as elubo- comes out as pale white too but it depends. |
the whole thing is crazy but fun. I just watched on CNN as one woman fell down, she grabbed her fallen wig and was trying to put the wig back on as other rushed ahead..phew i laughed with turkeyfilled mouth. I went shopping for one nice boot and some pink nightwear ...no rushing in this mil store. The store is so packed!! As I walked out, I can only thank God the economy is imroving and people are shopping anyhow, forget fiscal cliff . And wondered how thankgiving was w/ Ann and Mitt Romney ![]() Hugs to Barrack for winning the election. |
elubo is from dried casava. amala is from dried yam or dried green plantain. elubo is safe to eat.
Elubo is the same thing as amala, right?
|
Beautiful! I hope you guys heard him: Let your wife be the boss. Stop trying to fight for position and captainship of the house African man ![]() The guy ran a business and brought home the bacon while madam took care of the bacon/the home ![]() |
Johndoe100: @Guitarlife I can only imagine. |

One thing is that when the love is intoxicating us, we are on top of the moon. Nothing else is important. One can only hope for the best. The thing is making that tough decision . . . should i stay, should i move on etc when the 'best' you were hoping for is absent. Good points. |
I can see you think with your zip up and don't think of it. dayokanu: How do you expect a human to cope without a woman for over a year OYINBOGOJU: Zip UpRight! ![]() |
True Missy B. Even the dishwasher here you don't put pots in. Sometime I look at mine and I just laugh and say fancy for nothing cuz I only use it twice this year (when I hosted my girlfriends). The only thing i like about it is the very hot water used in the process (expect your bill to hike though). In nigeria, I'd say OP just install a good double sink in your kitchen. |
when you can't zip it, you can't. Don't use being away from home as an excuse. Good raddiance to bad rubbish. one reason why i'd prefer a guy in the military , you mess up, you are a goner together with that hot career of yours his wifey was home holding the home front, taking care of the family and pursuing a career while waiting for hubby to come home. Lots of sleepless night thinking of him, taking night calls, moving countless time. While oga Petra was cozing and sizzling with the big br.easted one. I hope she gave him hot and star studded slap like Hillary did to Clinton. OP, Huge Yes. |
have bleach, 409, lysol in handy. A must for my kitchen and bathroom each. Me and dorty no be friend. |
ummmm yummy when grandma made it with native pot. Ogbono and okro combined with assorted bushmeat + yellow yam poundo. Nice with Cocoyam poundo also. Ogbono only with yellow garri Okra only with bonga fish, mangala and Tinko not this drawless vegie they call Okra for here they use for jambalaya gini. i mean real ezigbo okro fresh from farm drawing like no man business. . . a great lunch anyday. |
RIP |
Please anyone with idea of masa recipe? It is that season all over again. So cold and windy bringing back memories of Nigeria Harmattan. Such memories were the ones of me and other yarinyas eating masa by Uwani's joint ![]() Yeah I love masa with that sour miyan, yaji or just plain sugar. Now it is either I fly to Sokoto/Kaduna/Kantagora or just make me mine and eat by Oyinbo fireplace. Anyone with recipe for Masa, please share. |
the only thing i want to be clear abt is: standing at the door is now physical contact? let's say the guy was sitting somewhere in the living room and madam by the door when the argument started, now he got up and shove his lady...so who made the physical contact here? enlighten me oh Coogar locking all the doors so that he can pound her well well? mba, i no like this ya style. coogar: you brought this upon yourself - when a man is trying to walk away from a conflict, let him or use his formular by locking all the doors so he doesn't leave.....matter of fact, lock all the doors first before bringing up the argument.......but don't block his path...you cannot initiate the first physical contact only to cry later! |
Mr. YinkaO, wow! 3years and you guys already packing up? Scary. You wrote from your heart OP, If you still love her, don't give up yet. Meet with her, promise to do better. Let her know what she is doing that you don't like and see if you both can find common ground. |
Romantic love is when he can bring home fat Bacons Romantic love is when the dude is handsome with impeccable hygiene Romantic love is when he briliant and doesn't ask me to solve calculus for management science. Abeg make i see road, let's talk bank account and if you can cook. |
Ronkelus, bombom keeping you busy eh? abi na oga how are you doing girl.Tgirl4, what interview and where is the thread? |
Jesoul, where have you been. I heard iya balogun will be leaving. I like that woman ![]() can't imagine Washington without Nancy Pelosi. A fine politician. |
Petraus wife- she was really beautiful when she was younger. Please give her a break. She is 60 for crying out loud and Paula is 40. I pity Holly. she went through so much, imagine moves all the time, deployments, travels, army spouse engagements, her children, homefront etc and you complain of how she looks? The story is becoming juicer. Paula, Allen, David and Jill ummm. They will be the first to carry bible on sunday ^smh^ InvertedHammer: I was going to castigate the General until I saw the pictures of his wife...I refuse to comment |
what do you plan to give your naija friends, scented cinnamon candle ![]() oyinbo college friends will always give you something, i mean the season is for sharing to them. our own naija pals no dey give anything. they are waiting for that African students christmas celebration to come eat and waka pass. stingy no dey pass them.dont forget to donate to NJ/NY Hurricane Sandy victim. bawo ni now. |
I will never accept husband of mine asking me to do breast argumentation, enlargment, implants etc. me go under the knife for you? not guarantee you will stay anyway. Anyone remembers the Texas dentist who did that and many more changes to her body/breas.t only for hubby to still hook on to his chic? and what did she do? grated him with her expensive car. If i decide to do it, fine but not you asking or telling me to. what the heck did i ask you to increase johnny? or go under the knife for your moromoro head? |
To Sum it: The United State Military code don't allow cheating on your spouse. Simple! You cheat and you are caught, you are a goner. He did the right thing but coming out of the closet. Worst when you are in leadership position. |
well, you can be replaced w/ that machine/electric thomas they sell at the mall just a plug and vroooooooooooooooooooom.coogar: frozen egg and akamu isn't regular sex - you lose! |
I'm begining to loathe cooking nigerian meals. too much work. Thank God I moved the wedding date i can change my mind bo.What is your purpose at home? Work? i will work. Baby making? Thank God for frozen egg and akamu. Money, I got it...so what's your theme as a guy if you can't cook or do household chore? |
Yes they are and they should be happy (not whinning) taking responsibilities in the home. We arent born with a special label on our forehead saying "you've got v.gina and much quench doing housework" When madam is working and bringing home thin or fat bacon, why not. Who wouldn't like rubbing of leg, running the bathtub, nicely done bed, glass of wine and hot plate of fresh fish people soup and plantain after work. Time is changing and if they dont change, they will be like Romney and the Republicans. |
My vote wasn't based on social issues. Not my business who you love or your religion etc, it's all about YOU personally. I voted based on the Economy and the education thing he did and I prefer the president continuing-Romney becoming the president might have him trying to do U-turn to many things already in place. Thank God my long hours of standing wasn't in vain. God bless America, God bless the president God bless our troops. SemperFI |
Nervous wreck. Let me go soak and take my mind off. the suspense is damn too much. |
