PoliticsRe: Obi Promises N5m For Information On Bodies In Ezu River by asha80(m): 10:39pm On Jan 20, 2013
Ileke-IdI:
It will be hard to find evidence, but it's not impossible.

A simple autopsy may possibly tell us when they died and what caused it. I mean c'mon.
the argurement is not the bolded but autopsy revealing the EXACT or NEAR the spot where the bodies were dumped into the river
PoliticsRe: Obi Promises N5m For Information On Bodies In Ezu River by asha80(m): 10:36pm On Jan 20, 2013
geeez: If you poured dettol in a channel that flows with water, will all the dettol leave the spot you poured it in at once? Please add DIFFUSION to the list of topics i asked you to read. Abeg I don tire. Even a six year old should get this
if it is a fast moving river there might be no trace after 2 days.
PoliticsRe: Obi Promises N5m For Information On Bodies In Ezu River by asha80(m): 10:34pm On Jan 20, 2013
geeez: I don't argue with eediots like you but simple intelligence should tell you that since the water flows in a direction and there are secretions from a corpse, the part where the secretions begin should give you an idea. Seriously, you have been more stup!d than I thougt
sorry o but what if it a fast moving river?what if the river is fast enough to carry the body once it is dropped into the water?
PoliticsRe: ACN Releases List Of Merger Committee by asha80(m): 9:35pm On Jan 20, 2013
Omo_Tier1: The fact remains that El-Rufai like Ribadu, Oshiohomle, Fashola are individuals who can smartly play on the old bags and still deliver for the people! What you also fail to take into account is that the center is so huge that you can silence of the old bags by giving them a contract, put them in spot light and make sure they deliver to the people. Obasanjo did just that with so many of the old bags that today they can barely show their face in national politics and talk about performance and delivering!

For all I care, I want PDP and GEJ out of the center and replace it a party that have people who knows what development truly means!
I know some "don't give a damn" but I do!
how i wish imo state got that kind of 'development' under udenwa lol.
PoliticsRe: ACN Releases List Of Merger Committee by asha80(m): 9:01pm On Jan 20, 2013
Omo_Tier1: What you fail to realize is that post 2003 after Obasanjo money bag election, most politicians were lured into PDP and got trapped in PDP without necessarily buying into the ideals of PDP!
errrr.. we are talking about someone from my state i know very well who has always been in pdp right from 1999 till he left after 2007 because of governorship elections imbroglio in the state.
PoliticsRe: ACN Releases List Of Merger Committee by asha80(m): 8:43pm On Jan 20, 2013
head_to_to: And most of the present core ACN were part of the 14 years.
i am suprised i did not see ararume's name on that least.
PoliticsRe: ACN Releases List Of Merger Committee by asha80(m): 8:36pm On Jan 20, 2013
naja2: So on that note we should stick with your evil pdp for life right. Most girls sleep with guys for one material gain or the other but not all girls are as reckless as standing on the highway to solicit for patronage, as much as all political parties are they same the pdp stands out as the greatest calamity that has ever hit this country. The pdp is like the highway prostitute in my illustration above, all other parties are far lesser evils in my opinion. Its been 14 yrs with the pdp they ve given us 3 presidents who ve all only taken us further backward. Anything but Pdp will do.
i guess you are not from imo state.imagine achike udenwa of all people being someone one should have hope in haha lol.

PoliticsRe: Benin City Reborn! by asha80(m): 1:05am On Jan 17, 2013
Omo_Tier1: Benin city is suffering from what Lagos is suffering from in that the city has lots of road networks constructed in the 80s' but with no provision for drainage, covered walk ways and most of these roads are due for reconstruction, unfortunately, 10years under PDP did not help in that they stole much of what should have been used to fix those roads and now Oshiomhole I believe is now faced with the huge task of getting them fixed! Tarred roads in Benin alone runs in thousands ok km but less than half I believe are standard roads by today's standard.
hey i am not doubting what oshiomole is doing in benin.i just simply responded to that sentence about people moving from 'dirty'onitsha, warri and asaba to benin.
PoliticsRe: Benin City Reborn! by asha80(m): 12:43am On Jan 17, 2013
Omo_Tier1: I mean no insult, but does onitsha have any clean place at all? Benin we are told holds over 1.2million population! I remember when I was in the state, people in GRA where I stayed kept saying that the governor is refusing to award roads in GRA because He said most of them have big houses and big cars so can afford to help themselves with fixing any failed portion of their roads while He fixes the one used by the masses.

I mean the sight of seeing people queue in even villages in Edo central to board the commrade bus was simply a wow knowing what our people used to be like when they want to board the bus! Like I said, it is not yet Uhuru, but th man is gradually repositioning that state.
not to derail the thread but the GRA in onitsha is clean.
PoliticsRe: Benin City Reborn! by asha80(m): 12:27am On Jan 17, 2013
Omo_Tier1: If there was so much money in those places, GRA in Benin would not be full with deltans!
i do not know much about benin but i know for a fact that the population of 'dirty' onitsha and its environs is probably twice that of 'clean' enugu.same thing with 'dirty' aba and 'clean' owerri.
PoliticsRe: Benin City Reborn! by asha80(m): 12:18am On Jan 17, 2013
Omo_Tier1: I heard of Oshiomhole's strides in Edo State and when I was in Nigeria not too long ago, I went to that state to see for myself! It is not a fluke what you are seeing on the pics post by the op. Given the fact that Edo budget is 1/3rd that of Delta and much of the revenue to the state is from small business taxation which is very difficult to rain in, I give his government a thumbs up.

The Benin city water storm project, huge expansion of the central hospital, schools with floor tiles, proper toilets, very comfortable individual desk and chairs, water project in Edo central, dualization in Igarra, Auchi, and one rural road that cuts across 22, I mean 22 villages, just to say a few of the projects I saw with my eyes.

If anything, all the major roads I saw have standard dividers, with greens, covered walkways, with standard road markings. Sapele road shown in one of the pics was constructed by Setraco and I tell you it is a 6-lane road of very high quality!

This is not to say they aren't areas the government need to improve upon, but whatI can say is where money has been spent, it is obvious to the sincere at heart that it has been good value for money spent. No doubt, if Edo continue to invest in infrastructure in this manner with proper maintenance, the state will become a choices destination for those running away from the dirtiness of onitsha, Asaba, Warri, etc.
in nigeria people move to where they make money and not where it is clean.

PoliticsRe: The Government Just Banned Commercial Buses In Abuja. by asha80(m): 10:00pm On Jan 16, 2013
ogaemma: This government is insensitive and wicked. It only serves itself and the rich. The government just banned commercial buses in Abuja. Their reason is that commercial buses increases traffic and makes cars experience traffic jam. This is no more okada, it is now buses.
People now walk for 3km and more in Abuja. Ordinary Nigerian are suffering for the rich to drive without heavy traffic. Where in the whold world is this done. Nigerians must resist these people or sit down and die.
i thought it was the abuja city center and not places like kubwa, nyanya etc?still a bit insensitive though.

PoliticsRe: What Exactly Is Rochas Doing In Imo State? by asha80(m): 9:33pm On Jan 15, 2013
Abagworo: To be fair some of those roads are complete but the ones I snapped are completely new. I saw them for the 1st time 2day and works are seriously ongoing too. There's a place called Ikenegbu extension which also surprised me because I was there 4 years ago when most roads were unpaved and muddy. I'm not impressed with the lack of walkways anyway.
i someoene said nothing was going on there?is that not the relief market/stadium axis?
