I am dissapointed in we Nigerian fans.We don't ever see anything good in our teams.
If you think those girls are overaged come up with evidence or shot your trap!
Are you sure you're watching the tourney urself. As far as I'm concerned the only true U-17 are the Lagos boys.
Can you prove to me that Robben iS 24, Ribery is 25, Forlan is 28 and John Terry is 29? All those 40yr olds!
You don't see anything wrong about other country's teams only yours.

Go-on exposing your selves before the international community.
Robben is 26 and not 24

Ribery is 27 and not 25

If you think that these players that were born and brought up in western europe are lying about there ages you need your head examined and you need to travel out of nigeria if you think every country is as dishonest and cheats as nigerians.

Look my guy i have a friend that was born in Dusseldorf in germany in 1980 and he went to the german embassy to see he was running around for movement out of nigeria. He was asked which year and hospital he was born and he presented his birth certificate. An official went inside and typed into their database in their computer and his name appeared exactly as it presented in the certicate. If the guy lied na so them for bounce am for wetin im dey run around for.

One more thing how come europian players lasts longer in the game than nigerians ?

Redman44:
Is it part of our culture that we should not be doing things properly shocked shocked? It is a shame that many Nigerians get the opportunity to live and work in developed countries but fail to change their lethargic ways of doing things. Even in Nigeria, the Europeans and Americans do things properly. Can we compare the running of the British Council and Goethe Institute Libraries with the way the National Library of Nigeria is run? We keep hearing complaints about the disorder that reigns supreme at our Embassies and High Commissions in Europe and yet the FG does nothing about it. It is all about the thinking of the Embassy Staff. It also has to do with the resourcefulness of the High Commissioner at the Embassy in Italy. I bet the Man in Charge there is not very good and that is why the place is not being run properly. You need to see how the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Oyo State, is run. The place is like a developed country in a disorganized Oyo State. When will we start to do things properly in general terms?

I have seen photos of that place and i have been wandering whether that place is in nigeria.

Uhm, some people don't know what population maintenance is. Nations worrying about their rate of growth are not concerned with doubling their growth, but maintaining their population. i'm an engineer - and i'm constantly at odds with higher ups in my organisation because there is some bizarrre misconception hat you can get quality without spending money

i think its a nigerian thing - you tell someone this thing will cost 24 million, and they start oh with that money i can build a manision in lekki

matters are made worse by superioirs who have long since compromised and who make equally odd arguments

just recently, we were to renovate a building - the next thing i knew, i was in it because my costs were significantly higher than than those provided by a so and so contractor. i got a lecture on how if u are providing a proposal, your cost should not be more than 10-20% of a road side electricians cost

taht is the no one reason for quality issues in  nigeria - to paraquote - people wan dom perignon with gulder money

as to innoson motors, i only hope they will not follow the path of other nigerian 'entreprneurs' who simply sell repackaged/rebranded items fabricatyed in china factories at cut rate  costs

iot has been stated before - there is no real issue with china - ipods are made in chninsa. but what happens is tha a business man goes to some factory and says i want a genertor for $100 . meanwhile, the cost of a stndard generator is $150 so the compromise starts - rreplace standrd stell parts with plastic, change armature from copper to alumnum. in the end he has his $100 generator, which he sells in nigeria at an inflated price, and which fails during the first use.

the idiots in SON look the other way.

i am afraid that these innoson fellows may be following the naija model.

of course, the nigerian consumer also has his part - nigherians also are in love with cheap produvcts, which is why tokunbo has such a foothold in naja
I doubt that. The purchasing power of the acerage nigerian is too low to buy a mint car.Let us take the average banker salary of N150,000 per month. You want him to use that salary to buy a mint 2009 toyota camry  huh

Instead of rambling and name callingwhich frankly tells alot about the caller why not channel your energy towards promoting Innoson intelligibly by giving us hard facts about mileage-to-fuel ratio, how its suspension & transmission systems works equally as good as what is in the market, even better; statistical facts like these will more than move a pessimistic Nigerian to try the product, or you don't think so? People's natural instinct and allegiance to a product is first to quality; naim make u go hear even a lower class Nigerian respond with an ''e go last if i buy am?'' retort. So my friend it ain't all about putting out a Nigerian product just for the sake of it, its about meeting and surpassing already exisiting standards in the market that will gaurantee sales and longevity of Innoson. If e good like you say it is, I expect Ekenedilichukwu, Young Shall grow, and the lot of them to give it a go, after all charity they say begins at home, abi?

Innoson auto plant is presently producing vehicles according to orders placed by customers. Some of the buses were sighted on the East-Lagos route, while a popular transport firm, Autostar recently took delivery of some units of the air-conditioned midi version.

Industry: In the cultural universe of the Yoruba nation, a man of industry is highly regarded and respected. Without necessarily placing the Yoruba in any levitating and proud pedestal, we are Nigeria’s natural business moguls. The Yoruba race have the largest industrialists in the late 70’s until early 80’s before the decay set in and the Igbo took control.

Beaf said Egun people are not Yoruba. How did you arrive at that? I can totally understand their Language even though I speak and understand just little Yoruba which I can communicate with. I don't speak Egun but I understand their dialect because I understand little Yoruba. I don't speak Ekiti or Ijebu dialects but I understand these dialects because I understand little Yoruba. You are totally wrong on that notion. Yoruba people are diverse even in dialect. I think you said that because you want to prove a point on why Lagos should be divided (what a retarded notion by the way). Lagos was meant for 1million people and 6mil at most. But mass migration to Lagos wasn't expected. How about dividing your compound?

Is Lagos bigger than London? London has 32 boroughs which Barking and Dagenham being on the eastern end of London and Dagenham belongs to Essex but Essex county isn't complaining that Barking and Dagenham is it's land. London also has a population boom instead they extended London not divide it. What kind of way are you thinking? Lagos is already the tiniest state in Nigeria but the most populated. Lagos just need to extend to Ogun and let them call it Lagos by name while ogun keeps getting the revenue. For most rushing to Lagos, it's the idea of living in Lagos that thrills them. If Lagos could extend to Ondo state and still be called Lagos, many will rush there. NYC annexed some part of jersey to it and it's still called NYC while some New Yorkers think Jersey is trash, some live in Jersey and don't even know it. Creating another state out of Lagos is a disaster!! Why don't you advocate they divide your own state? Your advice for Lagos comes off as condescending and with ulterior motive.
Where did beaf say he wanted lagos to divide huh

Kidnappers Strike in Ogun, Abduct Oba’s Sister
By Olawale Olaleye, 08.01.2010

-Ogun State, last week experienced for the first time, the dreaded kidnapping saga as four armed men who disguised as security operatives from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police stormed Efireland in the Ogun Waterside Local Govern-ment Area and whisked away Mrs. Sikirat Lamina (nee Adeniyi). Mrs. Lamina is the elder sister of the traditional ruler of the town, the Elefire of Efire, Oba Musa Adetokunbo Adeniyi, and she is in her late 70s.

Sources told THISDAY last night that the armed men who came in two different motorcycles struck on July 28 at about 10.25pm. They were said to have walked into the house where the aged woman was staying, introduced themselves as operatives from CID and requested to have her come with them to their office.

But before she could raise any question as to why she was needed in their office, the abductors were said to have dragged her out half-naked, carried her onto one of the motorcycles and left for Makun, another part of the state through a flying boat that was already waiting for them on the other end.
The abductors, sources said, left behind two mobile telephone sim cards and later called to disclose their identity as kidnappers, demanding for an initial ransom of N600 million. They later put their victim through on phone to her relatives on Friday night when they called demanding for a reduced ransom of N150million.

Mrs. Lamina, the victim, was said to have told her relatives on phone that though she was being treated well by her abductors but she nursed the fears that she could be hurt because the abductors have consistently threatened to kill her should her people fail to meet their demands.
Sources told THISDAY that the state government had immediately told the family members not to make the incident a media affair as the security operatives had promised to act quickly and put the situation in check. But four days after the abduction of the traditional ruler’s sister, sources said no significant progress appears to have been recorded.

Although, the police were said to have recovered one of the motorcycles that was used to convey Mrs. Lamina to Makun as well as the only wrapper she had on as at the time she was forcefully taken away, suggesting that she must have been taken to Makun stark naked.
Also, about six people were said to have been arrested by the Police in connection with the abduction. The Police are said to have reiterated their promise to get Mrs. Lamina released to her family; but the relatives expressed fear for the life of the elderly woman.

Al you stated are just plane emotional suggestions. You'll love your people to have an honourable history but history is history. Every Land fought against invaders. No kingdom has ever let any invader have it easily. Al you stated need to be backed up with a reputable source. You don't say something like that like you were there. You talk as if you were there.
During the 1890s, The Royal Niger Company of Britain bore friction with the Aros because of their economic dominance and alleged human sacrifice. The Aro resisted British penetration in the hinterland because their influence economically and religiously was being threatened. The Aro and their allies launched offensives against British allies in Igbo and Ibibioland. After failed negotiations, the British planned on capturing the Aro Confederacy in 1899. By 1901, the tensions were especially intensified when British prepared for the Aro Expedition. The invasion of Obegu (in Igboland) was the last major Aro offensive before the start of the Anglo-Aro War. In November 1901, the British launched the Aro Expedition and after strong Aro resistance, Arochukwu was captured on December 25, 1901. By Spring 1902, the war was over and the Aro Confederacy collapsed.

Contrary to the belief that the Ibini Ukpabi was destroyed, the shrine still exists, and is intact in Arochukwu and serves mainly as a tourist site
