damselposh:Yes. |
I have read this story on Nairaland before. But the OP didn't complete it then. Let's hope he does now. |
Lalasticlala mynd44. Seems the OP of this good story have been banned and his last post deleted. Please help us look into it. |
Congratulations to him. I pray he excels there. |
Who else noticed that picture does not look like an 8PM picture? 8PM and the day is still clear like that? Or maybe it's a picture from another rally. |
@OP, you're doing well. |
Masonkaycares:Salary earners do pay as it get removed from their income before payment. Business owners too. Except the business is not registered or is not located by all this Tax collectors. |
kingvick09:I don't think they showed him anything. This kinds of topic have been going around lately. He probably just want to jump on the trend. |
What of Boy's from poor Background? In fact, if we check well, there's chances OP is actually from a poor or average Background himself, but he is here making noise. @OP, what is the average monthly income of your family after Tax? |

topher052:Why don't you put it on OkadaBooks? |
![]() If David was a detective, why didn't he suggest DNA test before the burial? Just thinking out loud though. ![]() Nice work OP. |
Pilot! Pilot!! Pilot!!! Abeg, drop me here, I wan see something. @OP. Nice start. |
Let Daniel just rest in peace like that o. Don't bring any twist about him somehow surviving. Because in real life, Once mortuary attendant is the one that called, then the person don die be that. But I'm suspecting a twist sha. Daniel was probably kidnapped, because if mortuary attendant will call, they would have used Daniel's phone. But the story didn't tell us whose phone was used. It it was a kidnapp case, then it will mean the mortuary man is all part of the game. But this is unrealistic in real life. Just let Daniel die and go in peace. |
Lexusgs430:And what if there are no leads? The point of everything is that just the way the Nigerian police have a lot of unsolved cases, The US police also have a lot of them. So there's no point bashing our police department. It makes no sense. |
SenecaTheYonger:Yes. He wanted to clean up the crime scene. But during the cleanup, Mr. Saleh's cousin arrived at the apartment. So he had to run away. |
seguno2:Read the full details of his arrest here. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/07/17/nyregion/fahim-saleh-suspect-tyrese-devon-haspil.amp.html Especially the comments of a police officer in the last few sentences. He made some mistakes including using Mr. Saleh's credit card to buy stuff. So, I don't need to have a court before I make that conclusion. After reading the entire news, you can come back and quote me. |
Lexusgs430:I don't know, but I know they aren't novices to leave lots of trails behind. This one left a lot of trails. From the surveillance footage that captured his presence, to his fingerprints, to the Taser he purchased online, the money he stole that other people probably know about among other things. This made it easier to track him down. And like I stated earlier, The US police have lots of unsolved cases under their belt. And even a good portion of the "solved" ones have the wrong person behind bars, majority of which they do discover after reviewing a case many years later. So bashing the Nigerian police because US police arrested a novice murderer after 2 days of committing a crime isn't smart enough. |
BlackNeo: Lexusgs430:Lol, you need to read more. US police also have 100s of unsolved cases that have been pending for years now. Just search Google or YouTube, you'll get a lot of stories to read. This one was very fast because there was surveillance footages and fingerprints scattered around. And the guy was probably a novice as he left a lot of trails behind. Like the Money he stole from Mr. Saleh, the Taser he bought online. Etc. If all this was Available in cases you guys mentioned, I'm sure it won't take the Nigerian police up to one week to round up the suspect. In fact, in some of the cases, like that of Kudirat Abiola, suspects were arrested and prosecuted. But the entire case was frustrated, probably by people at the top. |
PIMPAR:It's obvious you didn't read the article. |
Ahumanbeing:Well, it depends on the person sha because printing of the plastic cost just around 100 Naira. But they can charge up to 5k because people who make those kinds of documents (usually with fake details) are people into one illegal activity or the other. But since you are using your real details and just transferring content of your Paper ID card issued to you by NIMC to plastic, you might be able to talk them into reducing the price for you. |
Penpaddie:Nothing Na. The story have a good start though. But the ovation will come with more updates. |
Ahumanbeing:They will first ask you to snap the card, then they will ask you to hold the card and take a selfie with it. This selfie is what your dad will do for you if you're using his card. |
Ahumanbeing:Account details are your names and details you filled in while registering) creating your account. You can update it. |

You can use your father's document to verify. But before using it, you have to change all the account details to your father's details first. Also, he will be the one to do the facial verification, not you. Another option is to go make a plastic National ID card. Many of this computer operators/cyber cafe have this old ID card template. They will just fill in your details and print it on plastic. But they might charge you heavily since most guys that require this kind of services are into shady deals or fraud. The verification process is also automated, which is why you can trick the system. Also, make sure you use a phone with a quality camera, and also stay in a well lit room. Also, you only have 3 attempts after which your account will be blocked. My account was blocked after 3 trials and I eventually have to create another one because you can't even contact their customer care without logging in first. They don't accept Voters card, or that Paper ID card, so don't use it. Goodluck. |
Well, I'm more concerned about her friend telling you. Also, have you both ever discussed about your past with each other? And how old is the relationship? You see, one thing will usually lead to the other for this kind of information to be revealed. You don't expect her to just wake up one morning and call you that she have a baby somewhere. Some discussions will lead to it. That's why it's important to ask about the past of whoever you want to be with. Ask her how many guys she's been with, how many abortions she have done and how many babies she have. Ask questions, and you will get answers. It's only if she told you lies after serious discussion that you can conclude she deceived you intentionally. The past of whoever you want to be with is as important as the future, so ask questions. Forget about the nonsense "past doesn't matter" that most people say. It matters!!! |
Unigrad:Well, I think it's many. ![]() Advantages 1. You must have heard of Okarfor's law before. Many people who cheat on their spouse do it with someone they've been with before marriage, who did it "properly" than they are getting with their current partner. Also, I believe majority of people who complain about their partners not satisfying them sexually in marriage are those with numerous experience. Just imagine a lady who was into runs during her college days, and have being with over 100 men in the process, getting married to a man who have never been with a woman before, how will their skills match? How will he satisfy her sexually? if they both get married as a virgin, they get to learn together and build up their skills together, making it far easier for them to become compatible. Also, there's no 'ex' that have given them an unforgettable sexual experience before that they can go back to. 2. If they both marry as a virgin, then there's less likelihood that the past of one of them will come back hunting their marriage. Scandals like having hidden children, sex tapes leaked by an ex, inability to give birth due to a past infection or abortion and many other things. All this type of Marriage wrecking scandals will be far from them. 3. If they both marry as a virgin, then there's less likelihood of having recurring STDs that can destroy their marriage. I was at someone's house in school last year and the dude was discussing with another guy. Apparently, the guy have Gonorrhoea which he have treated, but somehow, the infection returned. So, by marrying each other as a virgin, it will be difficult for them to contract all this recurring STDs and it's consequences. 4. Sex also have some spiritual stuff attached to it as many religious people believed. Even the Bible said something like "Anyone who commits adultery sins against his own soul". So, whatever spiritual stuff that could have been contracted by sexing around would be avoided. I think there are other ones though. But this are the ones that came to my mind right now. Unigrad:Updated. Another Update As for disadvantages, a post made Front page few months ago. The guy was complaining about his wife being scared of sex. He said his in-laws even bought lubricants for them and many other things. In one of his comments, He said he was initially at fault since he can't identify the hole to put his pencil initially. I think this is the only disadvantage, but it is also an advantage since they will get to learn everything together as stated in point 1. |
ojuu4u:Your case is kind of different. In OP's case, all this happened to an 100lvl girl. If she's among the people who get admission early, then she might be between 14 - 16 years old when all this incidence happened. If the above statement is correct, then she should be between 17 - 19years now. And her parents rejected her after finding out about her pregnancy, which forced her to move in with the guy. So, she might not be legally married to him. More like live in partners. So, unlike your own case, she might truly need the help and not in for a fling. Also, I suspected she might have dropped out of school already. But she destroyed her own life by herself and it's not really the OP's responsibility. So, like you rightly stated, he can help her this time and give her a strict warning. |
I just read the story properly. Going by the story, then she's currently in 400lvl. That's if she hasn't dropped out. She got into all this mess and got rejected by her parents since her 100lvl days. If she's one of those who got admission early like between age 14 - 16, I think that probably explains why she's kind of dependent. This points to failed parenting in a way. Her parents are likely one of the over religious ones that their children are getting wayward under their noses without them noticing it at all. She really made some bad decisions she'll likely regret for the remainder of her life. Majority of my previous comment is still applicable though. |
