Well my sister said that they were called back and took the examination at about 2;15pm. What concerns JAMB with the ownership tussle? These students paid for the exam already, why not let them take the exam? And why today for letting the news out? Some of these people just make me wanna puke.

The President who travelled out of the contry 3 times a week for dialysis did not set up a kidney center, what exactly will be Mr Goodluck's motivation in doing that?

I guess there's no harm in asking

The evil that women do lives with them, aye, it follows them to the grave! – Anon Ymus

Book 1 The Future - Dedicated to the Blob, like my people say, Akutunku e L'orun!

So it was that Gail reached the pearly gates and saw the stern faced guard standing with a meter long pitched fork ready to toss her into the roaring flames.

‘Scuse Sir, at least give me a chance to say something first’ she pleaded.

Here we go again, thought Jula. They always have something to say, don’t they.

Gail launches into a tirade about how much she loved her children and really thought they were the best on earth.

It was in the early 2010s and life was looking good for the Okories. To the outsider, they looked like a perfect family picture. Indoors was  a totally different story. Gail ruled the home with an iron fist controlling everything including what her kids were supposed to like. She was content that she had raised the perfect kids.

How nice it would be if Paul could just marry his sister Vera, she muttered under her breath one day. Mr Okorie’s head snapped to face her. “What?’ he asked to be sure he heard her right.

“I was not talking to you” she replied; “I gotta go in now”.

It was the harmattan of 2012, Gail had just returned from work to find her 18 year old Vera, writhing on the floor of the living room in agony. “Vera, Vera” she screamed” Talk to me, gini, what is going on, please Philo, call for help quickly”.

Vera called out to the neighbours who rushed in and aided in getting Vera to the hospital.

She had attempted to abort a pregnancy and now needed a D&C urgently. Gail was visibly upset and disappointed but was happy that she did not lose her daughter.

Vera’s hospital stay was uneventful and she was discharged home in 3 days.

For a couple of weeks, it was the topic on everyone’s lips in the neighbourhood.

This too shall pass, Gail thought to herself.

IslamRe: The Jos Crisis And The Muslim's Position by ayinba1(f): 1:00am On Mar 12, 2010
Will some of you who claim to be christians just SHUT UP or log out for one sec? How can you be just shameless liars? And drama queans? These tragedies are sad and unjustifiable but blaming Muslims and Islam, that is just the height of absurdity.

When the first events happened, some of you were happy, now the reprisal attacks happen, you cry to the high heavens. You don't care about the people dying, either because "they are northerners" or "they are not your relatives". Because if you have an atom of sympathy in you, you will use that thing in your skull which I hope (fervently so) is a BRAIN, to profer humane solutions to the ongoing crisis.

Continue to call the Fulanis/Hausas/Muslims any names you care to, they have shown to be way more organized than you. You want us to get our own country? You go find another place to settle if you refuse to live in peace and harmony with us. Know this though, every Muslim will defend himself (herself) if you choose to attack.

Keep that at the back of your mind. It is a natural human instinct.

Dear Nairalanders,

I need urgent help with this issue. I am travelling to Nigeria in less than 4 business days and I am yet to receive my passport back from this embassy. I have confirmation that my application and passport were received. I mailed it in for an endorsement of my son.

Please any help will be appreciated. I have called and left messages. No one picks the phone up, no one has returned my call yet.

My email is ayinba@yahoo.com

IslamRe: Is It "safe" For A Christian To Read The Qur'an? by ayinba1(f): 12:35am On Mar 11, 2010
@the three posts preceeding this

If you truly believe what you say about the Quran, what do you have to protect yourself from it?
I thought "Good triumphs over evil", yet you are afraid of the Quran. Surely, you must know that the one which you hold on to is FALSEHOOD.

Lord, even pagans are not afraid to read the Quran!
IslamRe: The Eagle That Characterizes The Nigerian Coat-of-arms Is A Symbol Of Christ by ayinba1(f): 12:32am On Mar 11, 2010
@david

Why do you wish ill on my brother? He said that he condemned the killings in Jos in both cases but you are still not appeased. It doesn't matter what a muslin posts, david, you will not even see it.

I tell you, even if I say, "you david are a christian", You will first respond "liar, I am so not a christian"

Anyway, nothing you do will surprise me. The more we cut your finger off, the more rings you adorn it with. I promised myself after the last time that I will not respond to your posts in anger. If there is any good in you, Allah may have mercy upon you and make you a muslim. Otherwise, your case/fate is fully described in the Quran and sealed.

It is hard to see the other person's viewpoint when there is so much despair. i am only making an attempt so you can view these ugly events with a little less bias.

If you know who the culprits are, how come they got away with it the first t ime, targetting one group? and this time targetting another group?
PoliticsRe: Plateau Massacre : Police arrest 377 suspects, prosecute 162 by ayinba1(f): 12:17am On Mar 11, 2010
I will say it again. Islam is a religion of peace. Please stop displaying your total ignorance or hatred by claiming otherwise. You hate muslims with no cause. Muslims are against unwarranted killings as have been going on in Jos, Not too long ago, a lot of Muslims were murdered in this same Jos. A lot of you on these forum blamed the muslims saying that they deserved it. Now the non muslims are murdered/ in retaliation/ you blame the muslims again.

You continue to miss the point. If the perpertrator of a criminal act is not brought into justice, the cycle will never end. And as you tuck yourselves into bed, think of ways of chanelling your energy towards finding a solution.

All this hatred and Islambashing is not going to help you or anyone. And wishing all muslims bad, well, you know the remaining four fingers point right back at you.

Think, again it is not easy, but try before you post. Your utterances here are not likely to prevent a repeat of these kinds of events and You are the future of this nation; I shudder.

I heard the news on NPR this morning on my way to work. It is indeed sad that this is a vicious cycle that continues to repeat itself. Not too long ago, this happened in Jos, again it is happening.

Unfortunately, the type of responses seen from most of the posters on this forum gives very little hope that this would not happen again.

Until the "leaders" actually lead, this may never end. It is really sad as there is no value to human lives in this scenario.

Until people start to take responsibility for their actions, no good changes will happen. Tribalism everywhere you turn. See someone on this thread planning to kill all the Ijaws. I bet that guy is also a Fulani/Hausa just pretending to be an Igbo.
