I don't really trust this dude. All SW governors better watch out for a saboteur! "Nuff said. |
Sad, and scary too. This is just the beginning. |
^^^ Pele pele , maa rora o. Bi Fashola ba nle ni, ka maa roju, bo ti nre ara orun lo nre araaye! Abi no be so ![]() |
@eko lie God bless you! dayokanu:And u too! @ezeuche Check out those 2 pics! SW TRASH, PIG SURVIVES, SE TRASH, PIG KAPUTS! Who has the more toxic trash? And those structures on the SE trash site are so not occupied by humans! |
Fresh Air ke?? Talk about putrid, pungent, |
Beaf, Of note, your numerous other user IDs have disappeared since GEJ won! Now the task at hand is to lead as in LEAD for GEJ. It appears that camp GEJ, per your posts, have no plan at all to do anything for this country. Even a mentally retarded person knows that the fastest way to ensure complete chaos in Nigeria is to arrest Buhari for something that he is not responsible for. Then you can say, " Yeah GEJ would have transformed Nigeria into USA but for the riots and unrest caused by Buhari". Dude, it ain't gonna happen, focus your strengths on actual delivery of electoral promises. We read your game and I am utterly disappointed. |
@Ileke- Idi, This is a good thread. Hopefully, people will reason and understand that basic human needs are universal. @Beaf, Campaign is over. Your post is really in poortaste. GEJ is the President now, (actually has been for over a year), so what kind of message are you passing with your post? I do not believe that the development of Northern Nigeria lies in the hands of FG just as I do not believe that of Oshun lies in the hands of FG. What are the Northern leaders doing with the resources allocated to each state ?Each group of people have been brainwashed to accept the status quo. For the northerners, they have been brain bleached. Even their educated class are just waiting per chance, they will become a member of the ruling elite. This is totally unsustainable. So what happens if the almajiris make the North unlivable for the non- northerners and they flee to the South? The masses of the North continue to kill each other, and then maybe, just maybe, there will be an awakening and they will turn on their elites. At the end of the day, it is still ugly because they have no structures to replace the ruling elite. The educated middle class is absent, silent or also brain bleached. The few exceptions are Colonel Umar, CBN governor/ Seriously, there has to be a few more activists in the North championing against gluttony and corruption of their leaders. I lived in the North for many years and net very brilliant people but i tis almost as if they have been trained never to voice dissent against their leaders. Really sad. |
@vicjustice Your new addiction to posting verses from the Qurn is quite fascinating. I remember you from the Travel section and I respected your input there. Now, this would be appropriately addressed under Religion topic. I did not go through each of those verses to establish if they are correctly quoted or not. However, it is only intellectual laziness that would encourage anyone, regardless of religion or lack of, to make judgements from isolated verses. In essence, for each verse that you have quoted, what was gong on and in what context was the verse revealed? If you are true to yourself, you will answer these questions before making a judgement about Islam. A greater number of worse verses can be culled from the Bible, but that will not suffice to make a reflecting individual call Christianity violent. You will not be the first or last to make such a claim and please before our lovely non Muslims start to point out Muslims committing violent acts, they should remember worse acts that have been committed and are still being committed by Christians. |
Ile Oba to jo, Ewa lo bu si ! Some Christians are really totally ridiculous. Did your bible not tell you that you may be tried? So because Pastor Bakare's house got burnt, you feel it is time to make mockery of him? Are you more pious than he is? And did you ever read the story of Job? IMO, he took the task running as a VP for selfless reasons and I know that he will be rewarded by God accordingly. Some of the posts here just scare the heck out of one. For some here, christianity takes the back burner after tribe. Na today we see o, no one knows tomorrow. This is his own trial and God will see him through. |
BB all the way! Give me a few good men and we can turn this Nation around for the better. We are here! What did you need again? |
@ akanbi So you disagree that there was rigging at collation? @gbawe Very strong points. I agree that the time is now if we really do want to have broader appeal, that is, ACN and CPC. On the other hand, do you think the ACN senators could possibly sponsor a bill that would 1. Cut the monthly package of senators by a third? Or even a fifth? 2. Reduce the size of government as advised by T. Danjuma? 3. Will they push for FOI to be passed? I know the PDP Senators will NOT do this, ACN has a good number of seats and could get things rolling. |
mbulela:Thanks, I'll check it out. |
@gbawe You know, sometimes the hard way IS the only way. Your points all seem to make winning the end rather than the means. So do you think that it is okay to be silent on the ills of the opposition just to have a broader appeal? You are a member of ACN. what do you make of Nuhu Ribadu's political career as it stands now? I am still a fan of NH but I recall when many raised questions about his alliance with Tinubu, he explained it away. Would you agree that the marriage has cost hi more than the loss in the election? Buhari took the hard way and even if he did not win this election, he has won in many other ways. I am glad that the last minute Alliance did not work. That would have been a dirty compromise on the General and Pastor Bakare's standards. |
@ifyalways My wish is my command. I asked a question, you turned it into a statement of fact. You lied. And salam to you too. Tone down your language! |
@ifyalways I do not wish to trade words with you. The decent thing is to complete reading the post before you comment on it. No, I do not support violence. But open your mind's eyes and place the reponsibility where it should be. Buhari did not ask these people to riot and cause unrest. If he decides to say something, fine but he is not required to say so because some people have assumed that these people are CPC supporters. We all know Northern Nigeria. With this mayhem going on, is a non Northern CPC supporter safe? |
If Buhari calls for the rioters to stop for whatever reson, does it not tactically imply that he told them to riot in the first place? What about Jo Boy? Is he not the PRESIDENT as at this moment?? No one is telling him to do anything. Why So do we pin the blame of the prior unrest in the North on Buhari too- Jos, Jos agian and again ![]() Buhari is not the C in C, Jonathan is and should step up and arrest the unrest. Quit barking up the wrong tree. |
Corper ttion!!!! Corp members, pledge, "In all we do or we say, NIGERIA FIRST". Tx for the good work, which you know in your heart, that you did. ![]() |
Okay, That's enough right there! Quit insulting this man. Why would you think he is an opportunist? Buhari was the underdog going into this election. Mostly because he did not have the funds as opposed to Jo Boy who had the Nigerian treasury at his disposal . Now if Bakare had run with GEJ, you mat have been right to call him that. We have seen the PDP magic happen overnight and we will move on, but do not insult the man for running as Buhari's VP. He acted to make a change, Can't say same for you. |
GEJ seem to me to be a puppet in every sense of the word. def. not a leader. PDP's puppet, Obama's puppet etc I predict four yrs of this: US govt: goodluck, you need to devalue your currency GEJ: Master, your wish is my command. US govt: I think al qaeda is behind the bomb blast, let us send our people into your country to check it out GEJ: Master, your wish is my command. US govt: goodluck, you must listen to everything we say. sell us your oil for free GEJ: Master, your wish is my command. I truly hope so.
Golden. OMG, Jo Boy don sign Africom??. I dey float o!!! |
Stick to the topic. There are other threads celebrating GEJs win. Again, a people deserve the leaders they elect. But the people who voted BB definitely do not deserve GEJ. Team BB. Chin up. We came together regardless of our differences. Yes, I am sad at the way things turned out because I really hoped and prayed for a better Nigeria. Jobless graduates! No university admission after high school! lack of basic infrastructures! It may have taken 1-2 yrs to see changes with BB, but as it is now, Hmmmnnnnn, I wait and watch. |
I dont see GEJ doing much for Nigeria. I am really disappointed by the result. From what GEJ has done/ how much money he had foolishly spent in his lil time, I feel sorry for Ngeria. However, I'm delighted by last week's result. We voted out PDP in the SW level, even tho one or two state were happy with their PDP members, no problem. Now just cant wait for the govenor's election, right? 1. Bankole is out 2. Iyabo is out 3. Segun Oni is out 4. Oyinlola is out Now we need to weed out incompetent governors. . . . esp Alao-Akala.
Bolded part - You wish and really you know better. They will be ministers, special advisers etc etc. jamace:It doesn't matter how we speak of him, put lipstick on a pig, it remains one. My prediction is more of a question? Now that Jo boy has squandered every known reserve that we have, what comes next?? Borrowing?? Will the people of Nigeria say No to borrowing or just be quiet as everyone and their future generation is sold into slavery? I had hoped for the sake of Nigeria and the African Continent that a better leader would emerge but I guess it was not meant to be. Let us see how much more suffering the peolpe can take before a revolution of some sort can occur. |
Hi all, I was beginning to wonder where this thread went. Following the results all day yesterday and this morning. Very very strange that SS,SE results are not forthcoming. What is going on? I saw Rivers, enugu. State, but where is Ebonyi, Abia, bayelsa, Anambra, and som others? Even Ogun is MIA. Well done everyone. Keep hope and faith alive |
That was really brave of you. Sorry for the pain u had to go through. You have indeed done your part. God bless |
Bensonite:Are u serious? You support GEJ, don't you? Even if you don't say Amen, it has been said for you by your vote. How can u describe those as curses then vote GEJ/PDP in? Unreal! |

But then Abokis dont have such names.
Actually, ,the pix looks more like ibo than any other Nigerian tribe, but the guy holding the pp up, did he perm his hair or is he Arab? |
What kind of supporters does GEJ have? Liars Liars Liars, Ok not all of them but this OP is. How do you fathom that lying helps your candidate? |
Welcome on board, vuh! What time do we have to stop campaigning and will this forum exchanges be considered such? |
I hope they are not mad at him for refusing the T fare. It is a sad statement coming form them, Pastor Bakare has not only talked the Talk, (SNG), he is walking the Walk (VP candidate). Shame on those who try to villify him for this. I don't trust this acting SNG leader, |
@cellular Beautiful write up! Pls permission to post it as my status on FB, I will include Copyright NL Cellular at the bottom. Thanks |
Pray for Anene's safety. There should be encouragement for men of courage like this. I am utterly disgusted with Akunyili's supporters. As for her, Dora, she has committed political suicide, a slow long lasting suicide. But then, the people of Anambra may choose to forgive her and allow her to mislead them but most def not Nigerians! No way! |
@hannie, dude respect urself now at least for the sake of Jarus! @feelamong Excellent work! Keep up the good job. |
@seun Disappointing! |
