Like someone has said earlier, if you don't like big brother, don't watch it. It's not by force. On the same dstv, there is national geography, animal planet, history channel and the likes.
Also multichoice is a "for profit" company not an NGO so if you want educative channels, you are free to start your own.

Baba Iyabo spent N=16 billion with absolutely nothing to show for it and he was the Commander-in-Chief Thief for eight WASTED years.

Is it not said that A people that ignore their history is a LOST people huh
Anyway na so e be for mumuland!!!
Omotosho, papalanto and several of the nipp power plants were started by OBJ. You can kiss GEJ's ass all you like but don't try to lie where there are facts.

Any former phcn staff here?
Its true. Not all have been paid but most. I know people who work at phcn. One is retired though
Politics › Re: Jonathan's Rail Revitalization: A Shamefull Missed Opportunity. by AZeD1(m): 3:02pm On Aug 19, 2013
We have to start from somewhere but like a typical Nigerian politician, the refurbished trains are more of a campaign tool than the solution to a problem.
The trains should have been strictly cargo. In that way, they make money to expand why reducing the trucks on the road.
It must be said though that there are certain areas that need long term planning and rail transport is one of them.

Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 8:38pm On Aug 15, 2013
Afam4eva: Of course we need a mentality shift but i think what the OP wants to know is if there's anything to gain from separation at all and i say yes. The corruption and attitudinal problem will still be there but a lot of problems that has to do with the structure of the country will most likely be corrected. The problems will not vanish but will reduce.
Yes I agree that the problems will reduce but a lot are of the opinion that they will disappear without a mentality shift.
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 8:32pm On Aug 15, 2013
Afam4eva: The thing that happened to the bishop in Imo happens almost everywhere in the world. people always want their own people to head institutions in their own place and it's only the law that can shut them up. That's what the law is meant for. We're not expecting humans to be perfect in their liberalism. Liberalism is something that can be worked on and the results can start showing many years later but until then the law takes care of that.

And pls don't bet on something that hasn't happened. At least we're aware of how federal character is killing Nigeria but Biafra is a country that is yet to happen so you can't bet on anything. Biafrans are Igbos and should they get their country, why would they introduce federal character? To give who advantage? Even if they decide to give any zone an advantage, it will be discussed on a round table and won't be a military pronouncement. There are many pros for a divided Nigeria but some of you don't wanna see it cos you choose to be blind to them.
I'm not against a divided Nigeria because technically, i've got nothing go lose or gain. My point is Nigerians need a mentality shift and for now, i don't see that happening even if everybody goes their separate ways.
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 8:28pm On Aug 15, 2013
Ezigbo2010: I truly admire the dignity and sincerity that colors your responses. You argue your points well. It is possible that with improvement in society succession attempts may be quelled. But I am not optimistic about Nigeria as it works now. It's been half a century now. If radical changes don't occur, Nigeria will collapse.
Nigeria doesn't work because Nigerians are not objective. I'm from the south-south region of Nigeria and i'd tell you(you should already) that majority of the people in the south-south support GEJ just because he is from their region and nothing more. With that kind of mentality, how will a country grow? If Nigeria splits today, the people in the resulting countries would still have that mentality so what would change?
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 8:22pm On Aug 15, 2013
Afam4eva: Like i said, you guys give the daftest reason why a break up will not work. What has atown in Imo fighting an Anambra Bishop got to do with development. maybe you'll also tell little children not to fight with their mates so that the country can move forward. Pls if you have a concrete reason why a new nation will not work then say it instead of resorting to these cheap and ridiculous reasons.
The bold part is the problem with Nigeria and i just pointed out to you that same problem between two states that would make up biafra and you think its irrelevant.
Let me explain myself further in the hope that you will get my point. The people don't want the bishop because they want their own person as bishop not because he is not qualified. Now my point is this, if in a religious setting, people are behaving like this, what do you think will happen in a political setting in Biafra?
Once merit is sacrificed, a lot of things will go wrong and i'm willing to bet this same federal character that is pulling Nigeria down will happen in Biafra. Do you think Soludo would rule biafra for 8 years or whatever the term limit is and the next leader can come from Soludo's state even if the person is clearly the most qualified?
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 8:04pm On Aug 15, 2013
To the question why is Nigeria not working:

The simple answer is because most Nigerians are not willing to make it work. We are always looking for the easy way out.
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 7:55pm On Aug 15, 2013
Afam4eva: What makes you believe Biafra will not work. Btw, why is Nigeria not working. Those of you that are staunch proponents of Nigeria remaining together bring some of the daftest reasons why you think so. You can do better.
I never said it will not work but current realities point to the fact that it will not work. Peoples opinion and attitude will not change over night.
A town in IMO is fighting a Bishop because he is from anambra state. Do you think those peoples attitude will change because of Biafra? Based on currently realities, if Biafra started tomorrow, the same "he is not from my tribe" will continue just on a smaller scale.
Politics › Re: Question For The Advocates Of Separation by AZeD1(m): 7:42pm On Aug 15, 2013
Those who think splitting the country would solve the problems of the individual tribes are myopic.
For those biafrans, I have this question to ask:
We've had 14 years of democracy and there has been nothing like regional corporation between the eastern states while we can point to bickering among those states.
What makes you guys believe Biafra will work?

Whoever brought this idea should be sacked. If you want to retaliate, you should make sure your target feels the pain.
Very simple and legal way to hurt the UK is to cancel all government scholarship schemes to the UK.

My dad stopped paying my school fees in my second year at the Uni...not even because there was no money.....

God is my witness, i NEVER slept with a man for a dime! You are responsible for your life, take charge. After you and God, no one else has the key to your success. You don't need a sugar daddy...use your strength!

I don't think the current structure at redemption camp is exactly what is was when they got planning/ building permission.
So those saying the town planning authorities are to blame should first find out the original plan submitted by the RCCG

Politics › Re: Why Enugu Airport May Not Be Profitable by AZeD1(m): 12:42pm On Aug 10, 2013
Op you make a good post but most Nigerians are not objective. The Enugu airport is not viable. It will run because it's owned by the government but it will be a financial drain.
For those claiming the Igbo's travel a lot and would make the airport viable, I laugh cos you guys have no idea of air travel business.
Lots of Nigerians in the UK fly through Heathrow even though most don't stay in London.
Politics › Re: How £1billion Aid From The UK Is Used To Help Nigeria Join The Space Race by AZeD1(m): 1:13pm On Aug 09, 2013
Arosa: You come across as a smart guy to me, but seriously are you asking me about the usefulness of a space program for Nigeria? China has more than a billion people so what is the big deal in them having 80 universities in Beijing. And about India having some of the best medical practitioners, Nigeria also has some of the best medical practitioners, although many have travelled overseas.
Dude Nigerians go to India for medical treatment and education, we import almost everything from China.
We are like a man living under a bridge but trying to buy a Range Rover.
