Spend the night with the one that stays far away
Have lunch with one of the two that stays around you (Chose the one with the lowest rank so as not to spend too much time with her)
Have a romantic dinner with the last one.

Looks like only the one staying far away will be having her congo shined

But wait oh, how come you aren't using your brain to solve real life situations that will in turn enrich your pocket.
The sooner you realise juggling multiple gfs somewhat draws you back from achieving your ultimate potentials the better.

This is why Africans and Nigerians in particular hadly progress. The level of envy is killing by each passing day.

You never even know who is truly going to be happy on your success story. From Family members, friends, colleagues, business associates, neighbors and even acquitance, the story is the same.

The day people start realizing that when they start being happy and stop being envious at people's successes that when God begins to do Wonders in their lives.

A man who isn't happy seeing others progress should never expect to progress too.
The reason why African and Nigerians hardly progress is because of people like you who condone cheating. Please dont bring God into the matter because i'm very sure God doesn't like cheats.

Such a resolution would have failed in the NASS. Those people are only there to get fat.

As for moving us toward true federalism on the sly, its about the only way Nigeria can move in the right direction. Look at the crazy magnitude of fraud in the subsidy system that is being discussed (and I tell you, we ain't heard nuthin yet) and you will quickly realise that corruption is almost an immovable beast in Nigeria. Anyone hoping to make even a small dent would have to take to some pretty hairy pathways.

Also, as long as the subsidy runs, the refineries will always be sabotaged, totally frustrating any goodwill and wasting our billions in an endless cycle of first, motion, then despair.
Letting #occupynigeria protest continue and pengansson(sp) joining the strike would have shot oil prices in the international market high the world would be focused on Nigeria.
I dont believe GEJ wants to change Nigeria, to me his is part of the problem

And is it not working? Please make a point, the pushback to sentiment rather than logic is quite old now.

You have fallen into the usual trap of those who think the FG should feed them. Your LG and state should be the ones feeding you.
I'm all for resource control and regional government.
In theory, i subsidy removal is a good thing but removing subsidy in Nigeria is papering over the cracks and not going after the root cause of the problem.
E.g Why did GEJ no pursue a legislation that states that  by 2015, all crude oil drilled in Nigeria must be refined in Nigeria, dont you think Nigerians would have supported subsidy removal??

I am not saying it is right that so much should be going to salaries. But there are different levels of government, if we fight for local and state govts to be preeminent and productive, Abuja will lose its shine. There are 3 levels of govt and the LG and state should actually be of more importance to the individual, it is the failures in our system that make us forget that state and LG govts exist.
Lets have this in mind, so that after going at the FG, we know that we must next turn on govts local to us.
This is true but the constitution needs to change before this can happen. Do you think GEJ will want to make abuja weaker during his own tenure?

Removing the oil subsidy removes the corrupt people as we are now witnessing. It moves us closer to true federalism because one of the greatest attractions of centralised power in Abuja is gone, another pillar of patronage that is keeping this fake federalism running has been leveled.

Madam, your argument is weak, tired and in need of subsidy. 2 + 2 = 4, Seen?
When payment from subsidy jumped from 300 billion  to 1.3 trillion, any human being with an atom of brain would have asked what caused the increase but GEJ chose the cowardly route and it was the protest that brought about this investigation .

They led to nothing. They only ended up the smokescreen for what nateevs is pretending not to understand.

Where did I stand? I said those protesting where lazy phuckers who were unwilling to apply their minds or educate themselves about Nigerian realities. Does it seem like my stand is different today?

My arguments against the subsidy hinged around three things:
[li]It would deal a mortal blow to the corrupt oil industry and move us another step toward true federalism.[/li]
[li]That people aught to be taking a lot more interest in what their LG chairmen and governors roles are in a federal system.[/li]
[li]The money saved could be channelled into productive areas of the economy like research and development, agriculture, education etc.[/li]
[li]It would create a level playing field that would allow the influx of private refinery builders.[/li]
Our anti-subsidy arguments were far superior to those of the comical #Occupy brigade. In fact, all they had was sentiment; all tears, abuse and curses.
Indeed, all of us who withstood their torrents of insults and abuse stand vindicated today; every Nigerian is getting bombarded with tales of mind-fogging corruption, all in just a few short days. We should be prepared to be drunk with many more of such exposures even though the wagon has hardly left the courtyard.
Dude you don't have a point beside how does removing oil subsidy move us closer to true federalism?
If you remove oil subsidy and you dont remove the corrupt people do you in your mind think those people will not find a way around the system??

I still feel there is a need to have more than one transmission company for a few reasons. Electricity's chief adversity is distance and terrain and if the closest injection station to my power plant is way off it could be a huge burden to transmit over long distances assuming it is the generating companies that are obliged to do the link up, minding the fact that the high transmission voltages make flyover urban areas particularly prohibitively expensive.

This is where I think the thing became political and potentially dangerous. With a monopoly in transmission government can direct power away from markets by fiat without recourse to investment and economics which is anti-investment.

What they can do is to create a two track model as you have in the telecos - GSM and CDMA's so that if I have a small plant of say 50 meg in one remote corner I can transmit and distribute locally while the big boys - 2,000, 3, 4, 10,000 with deeper pockets can afford to go national because you have to realise there is a huge private spare energy cap among industry we can tap into temporarily until the main investment comes but these guys will not do transmission but just make a few bucks and exit the game when scale comes. I think it is worth considering.
What you have said is true, but the reality on ground is the just one transmission company. Though the N.E.R.C has awarded some compaines to generate with an off grid license

Thank you, so that means each generating company negotiates price with their nearest distribution company right? Besides, shouldn't there be a transmitting company per region? I mean, if there's one transmitting company, how are we so sure that other states outside Lagos (per your example), get electricity irregardless of the fact that some states decide to generate their own electricity? I see a lot of politics going on and competition as well.
No. There is only one transmission company which is presently located in osun state. this transmission company will buy up all the power from the generation companies and then sell to distribution companies. its at this point politics can come in.
LeoMax:
Each distribution companies will competing to buy sufficient quota for its region, the competition will lead to healthy growth. In essence, competition will be demand and supply driven and consumers will pay more for electricity and demand service delivery. This is an era that someone will move business from Abeokuta to PH due to constant power supply hypothetically speaking.
You are right

Question

How about the licenses that have been issued to all these companies to generate (on-grid) electricity, how will they work together with transmission companies?

Does it mean that private generating companies can negotiate price with transmission companies to buy from them? I mean what's the deal when dealing with private firms? huh huh huh
The private generating companies sell to the transmission company.
The transmission company sells to the distribution companies who in turn sell to consumers

The problem here is the 1 transmission company and here is why
total generating capacity of Phcn as of now is about 6000mw and lagos alone can consume that. ikeja distribution company and eko distribution company are the largest distribution companies by revenue generated. This means in theory those two can buy the whole power being generated for Nigeria is regulatory authorities do not do their jobs

So therefore, we have 6  Electricity generation companies; 6  Electricity distribution companies and 6  Electricity marketing companies. Total 18 companies ,

It is a common knowledge that Diesel and Petrol marketers used to Bribe NEPA aka PHCN to turn off eletricity that we can buy fuel. Now Subsidy is gone and PHCN gone, they are fighting the last battle. I repeat, there is no going back on Subsidy, when people are tired of staying at home, they will fight NLC to allow them back to work. Its always sweet in the first 1 week, after 1 week, hahahahaa I wil laff in Urhobo
Dude even a 3 year old cant make a statement this daft unless the marketers also suppy all the phcn staffs diesel and petrol to run there gens cos last i checked phcn staffs still lived in Nigeria.
Total generating capacity of Nigeria = 6000mw
Nigeria needs nothing less than = 20,000mw to have 24hrs light.

Politics › Re: What Exactly Will Western Countries/imf Gain From Fuel Subsidy Removal? by AZeD1(m): 1:22pm On Jan 07, 2012
4 Play:
Nigeria's main source of revenue is oil. History tells us that oil prices can stay static or even crash. If either happens, we will go bankrupt. We demand that the Govt keeps spending money on salary increments and subsidies even though this is financially unsustainable.

That argument is borne out convenience and is mere procrastination. This subsidy issue first came up in the 80s and we have done nothing to fight corruption. I can't recall one single instance of workers downing tools in response to corruption.

As the fuel subsidy policy is in itself a conduit for corruption and wouldn't have lasted this long if people in power didn't enrich themselves through it, I see no reason why we should retain it as a bizarre price for the failure to end corruption.

Millions of Nigerians have died and will die because our country is not economically successful. If you think subsidising  fuel consumption is the path to economic growth, best of luck. We will learn the hard way.
Dude, the cement industry is not regulated neither is textile industry, the furniture industry but imported product are cheaper than locally produced what makes you think removing subsidy will help the petroleum industry

This is guilty concience. They are heeding to their boko haram brothers advice to come back home. I need to see these minor members of boko harams living in Anambra. I pity the non northeners especially Igbos who accepted the federal government's advice to remain in the north. I know some thing that have never happened in the history of Nigeria will happen before this month ends.

All muslims in the north and south are in support of boko haram. Sambo, Asari Dokubo, buhari, Ibb, Atiku and all the muslim PDP, ANPP, CPC etc are in support of boko haram. I pity Jonathan. He is like a sheep surrounded by wolves. My advise to a non muslim(Christians, traditonalists, atheists etc) is to understand that this evil cult called islam is not your friend. If you see any muslim, try to be careful with him. I repeat, every muslim is a member of boko haram. The solution to Boko haram is the total elimination and execution of any Alah worshiping entity. Islam needs be uprooted completely from the root and eradicated from the history of the world. So, my dear non muslims, defend yourself and don't believe any muslim that tells you that he is not in support of boko haram. I can't live in the north. But if should live there, I would fortify myself with amunitions. I would silently poison and kill every muslim that comes my way. I hate Islam with all my body, mind, soul and spirit. My dream is to destroy all Muslims not because I hate people that do not worship in my religion, but because I hate people who kill in the name of an unknown and unseen beign.

Finally, if you are a Christian, traditionalist, atheist, join me in this campain against this blood sucking occultic society called islam. Defend yourself. If I were the one that lost my relatives during that Crismas bombing, by now I must have killed all hausas living in amausa in my area and beyond even with my last drop of blood.
