Politics › Re: Why We Can’t Build Refinery In Nigeria-shell by AZeD1(m): 10:02am On Mar 03, 2012
all4naija:
^^
What is the condition of that one refinery? They have been brainwashing people like you with crumbs and take away big share of the food. Keep praising them even at colluding with your corrupt government to ruin the livelihood of Niger-Delta. They pay tax, blah blah blah . . . Don't BP pay tax? Didn't they take responsibility for the Gulf of Mexico spillage? What has SHELL done about the environment before you start lashing out on the  corrupt leaders alone. Both sides are evil!
That one refinery was collected by the government. Before you talk of BP and gulf of mexico spillage 1st ask yourself if the governor of that state looted his state dry. How do you expect a foreign company to love Nigeria more than their country. You should be screaming at your government cos if NNPC was well run, we might not need shell.
Shell is a business and their motive is to make PROFIT.
Whizkay:
Dat z a big lie o, dey can neva run at a loss, if fuel importation is stopped. The country has a large market for pet product nd dey can even cater for our neighbouring countries, he jst doesnt want refineries in his own country whr we import fuel from to shut down, we must stop fuel importation nd employment exportation NOW!
Whizkay someone post a link which shows shell has been selling up their shares in refineries all over the world. Even a simple google search will have saved you the stress of typing that junk above.

How many of the people on here voted for shell that you guys are blaming them for not building refineries for you? Shell signed a contract with the FG, pays heavy taxes and some ediots are blaming the country. Some(Beaf) are even suggesting allowing the Chinese to come in and build refineries for us. When are we going to wake up as a country and realise that nobody can love Nigeria more than Nigerians?
CNOOC is run by the Chinese government, Statoil is run by the Norwegian government, Petrobras is run by the Brazilian government and this various oil compaines are doing very very well yet some people including Beaf will tell us government has no business in business.
For those of you that don't know, one of the refineries in PH was built by shell.
Politics › Re: Nigerians To Enjoy Regular Power Soon • Fg Directs States To Provide Electricity by AZeD1(m): 4:31pm On Mar 01, 2012
Kobojunkie:
So, Federal Government retains generation power but states only need to partner with distribution companies, with permission,, and this will ensure that Nigerians enjoy regular power supply even with ~4000MW the country still generates? WOW . . . so we are going to light up a nation with ~4000MW of electricity still produced today? This magic/miracle I would like to see.  undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided
Kobojunkie nice observation.
Why does the FG abhor a free market economy? We should not be setting the prices of some certain things.
I dont trust any level of government in Nigeria so giving states the power is just opening up a new method of looting.

Romance › Re: Love, Money And Relationships by AZeD1(m): 12:54pm On Feb 29, 2012
It’s good to be in love. It’s good be feel loved. Getting into a relationship based on love for each other is wonderful. Let’s face it.  A relationship cannot live on that love alone. It needs money. Don’t get me wrong. I like money, you like money, we all like money. But I don’t love money, I can not love money. Do you love money? Should you love money? Love is an emotion, not for inanimate objects like money but for beings with feelings and the capability to reciprocate that emotion in return. Therefore, the love of money is bad. But we do have people that have the love of money, and they bring this love into a relationship, and now, they will have two loves: The guy/girl they are in a relationship with and Money. When the love of money overshadows the love the have for a fellow human, what happens? Your guess is as good as mine.
There is a need for a balance. You shouldn’t go into a relationship if you cannot rightly sustain it. There is a time for everything. If you are in school, that is the time for you to read. I’m referring to guy’s in particular. Most of the heartbreaks guys face is as a result of lack of money to sustain the love.  A man’s life is different from that of a woman. Nature has given you the responsibility to cater for the needs of a woman, of course when you get married to her. What happens when you decide to disobey nature and start trying to take care of a woman when it is not your time? Duh! When a guy who it’s his time comes along, that woman will leave you. How about working hard to achieve your goals, aims and dreams. Get comfortable with your money, realize that natural need to settle down and then enter into a relationship proper? Does that make more sense than spending your school fees on a random lady?
Develop the right attitude towards dating. Dating should be with a view to getting married. If you cannot handle the responsibilities of a home, why saddle yourself with financial expenses of a girl you aint thinking of marrying? You both may be madly in love with yourselves, but financial problems are real too. If you don’t have a steady source of income pls pls and pls, avoid any form of relationships. You can have friends you hang out with, at least no one is expecting anything from you, but then, deciding to settle for a relationship proper comes with responsibilities. Love will not pay your bills. Economic situation in the world today is dwindling and getting worse. . .
When you are finally ready to get married, have it at the back of your mind that money is the leading cause of disputes, quarrels and what have you in the home. Realistically talk about budgets and how bills will be paid, and how you will manage you accounts. If you fail to plan, you have planned to fail. . .
If you get into a relationship with a lady, and you can’t afford to buy a gift for her you don’t love her. Ok. You may love her, but you are not showing it. Damn, Sex is NOT love so don’t even go there. Romantic outings, eat outs, movies pizza/sharwarma dates, blah blah blah all require money. Don't buy gifts you cannot sustain. Don’t be ostentatious. If you base that relationship on money, you only have your self to blame. Cultivate the balance between Love & money . . . wink

In the article, you kind of contradict yourself. You say one should learn to balance between love and money and then you say if you dont have a steady source of income don't date. That statement can be transcribed to mean love is for only people with money.
I know that two reasonable people who are dating know each others financial capability and they know what not to expect from their partners. It would have made sense to say don't GET MARRIED without a steady source of income.
By the way, Love will not pay your bills but loving the right person might just.

bamshy:
Hello All, I am trying to post a question but not sure if I am replying to the last comment. Anyway, this is my question. What is the procedure for changing colleges once you enter Canada? I have two offers of admission for two Colleges. One school offers Information Technology PgD (2 semesters - hardware); the other offers Information Technology PgD (4 semesters - software). I am interested in the software offer but will only be able to meet its financial demands (tuition + living expenses) by August 2012. On the other hand, I have excess funds to cover the expenses for the hardware offer. I need to apply now, do I risk the software offer knowing I can meet its demands by August (because I am sill employed) or do I play safe and go for the hardware? If I apply using the hardware, I know the cic.ga site says you can change courses and schools but how do i deal with upfront payment of fees to the "hardware" school? Delta, debosky and others, I trust your judgement here
Can please give me the PGD school for software?? Thanks

Romance › Re: Does Your Denomination Really Matter In Your Relationship? by AZeD1(m): 2:26pm On Feb 21, 2012
And what would be the outcome if the remaining 5% outweighs the 95% requirements, eg, if you found the lady of your dreams to 95% and her only flaw(which makes up the 5% is stealing or lying or say a terrible temper) would you not reconsider? If you wouldn't I say goodluck and there's no point discussing further. I would however advise that you go and seek wise counsel from those who have been successfully for a period of at least 15-25years before your ideas on marriage are set. And I really do hope you aren't arguing for argument's sake.
fresh_dude you miss understand my post. The 5% you talk about is not denomination based,
This is my point, 95% of the things people will want in a spouse is not determined by the denomination of church the person attends hence, the reason i'm of the view that denomination does not matter in relationship(title of the post.).
