I will happily go home when I am finished from work. You get home to go? You think too much of yourself, having taken on the job of a court transcriber you think that makes you an expert in everything......I dont usually trade insults but I can make an exception just for you......arrogant brat IamV4: |
..because apparently you have nothing to say. You use words that projects you as Mr Know-it-all but when you are challenged you find an easy escape I sum you up as someone who only enjoys the conversation they are able to dominate IamV4: |
Why is he embarrassing himself? , I think he stated a logic which is valid..... why did LP not raise all these current issues of Tinubu's certificate and drug conviction BEFORE the election as a pre-election matter... why is his candidacy or that of Shettima even an issue in this petition if they are all supposed to be pre-election matters? DIdn't LP lawyers also raise the issue of Shettima's double nomination in their petition? So why do you think the issue of the validity of Obi's membership of LP is different from all these so called pre-election matters we are now hearing about post-election? IamV4: |
I dont just understand your grammar honestly, where did you see HOODED women on TV in Nigeria abeg. Perhaps you were watching another TV. Let me help you out, if you are talking about Hauwa Baba Ahmed or Fatima Abbas Hassan, the head scarf they wear is no different from that of Siene All-Well Brown or any other of those lady, except you particularly have issue with seeing Muslim women on TV then or you are suggesting that northern women who ordinarily wear this type of head scarf should not be on tv, then that would be understood to be your own aggro and would show you to be an hateful person Amah70: |
Now we think a "glitch" could have resulted in the fake result she purportedly downloaded from JAMB's website but we do not agree a "glitch" could have prevented BVAS from working properly with IReV? |

They are accusing her directly because they have evidence she is complicit in the forgery, why are we trying to portray this 19 year old as naïve and innocent? No be 14 year old pupils dey make sex tape for school trip? and we think a 19 year old is incapable of committing fraud? For goodness sake JAMB has all the evidences that suggested she has checked her real result multiple times and she herself confessed to this. If indeed she downloaded the fake result from JAMB's website ( of which there is no proof), then why did she not seek a clarification that she got a different result from text notification. My take is this, anyone who really think JAMB did something wrong should put their money where their mouth is and sue JAMB on behalf of the girl for defamation, it is this straightforward. I am waiting for that lawyer who gave JAMB 24 hours to apologise.... because his 24 hours ultimatum has now expired and he should gear into action immediately. On another note, I have no doubt in my mind that girl must have been brilliant in secondary school but this is JAMB which has broken the back of many a brilliant student before, so the disappointment of the actual scores might be too much for her to swallow, https://punchng.com/i-got-jamb-text-message-that-i-scored-249-mmesoma/ Brendaniel: |
O wise one! By your wisdom, if the 'rightful' winner was not declared in the first place and they went to court, surely they must have the evidence to show the court that they are the 'rightful winner' whether IReV or otherwise dont you think so, O wise One? And by the way I did not ask them to go to court, they are already in court trying to retrieve their 'stolen' mandate And another question for you O Wise One, if results were not loaded onto IReV as promised, how did you know the 'rightful winner', what is your source for determining the 'rightful winner' please tell us ignoramus so we may know. O wise one! DMerciful: |
By her own admission bro! https://punchng.com/i-got-jamb-text-message-that-i-scored-249-mmesoma/ Ehmmah588: |
This sex tape is a case of moral perversion and not a potential criminal issue. Why do you think that is more serious that this case of forgery? webizone: |
It appears that as usual; we are allowing tribal sentiments becloud our reasoning. Despite all the evidences and even the girl herself confirming that she actually got the text notification of her real score which was 249, people who do not know the inside story are still holding to the notion that she is innocent and was misled by whom? I have equally seen some post saying JAMB acted too hastily and should have gone soft...... waaoh, and I say waaoh again. A nineteen year old perpetrating such a monumental fraud and we still think JAMB should have kept quiet and give her a slap on the wrist? For the sake of argument lets agree she downloaded the 360 result from JAMB'S website, but when she actually got a text confirmation of 249 ( as confirmed by her), why did she not try to seek clarification before parading the 360 result which in any case is not valid because JAMB did not notify any other candidate in the format she has presented her 360 result. The perceived age of adulthood and independence in most countries is 18 years and people of this age bracket have been jailed or even executed for capital offences in the US and some parts of the world and here we are presenting a 19 year old as naïve and innocent. Okay o lets keep it going and continue to defend the indefensible, I hope the Lawyer who was threatening JAMB has made good his words because by now his 24 hours ultimatum must have expired https://punchng.com/i-got-jamb-text-message-that-i-scored-249-mmesoma/ |
You have just demonstrated part of the religious bigotry and intolerance which has pervaded all sections of our affairs in Nigeria.... I was almost going to say this is one thread we are all enjoying without tribal and religious sentiments but alas you have just managed to ruin everything again Amah70: |
Siene All-Well Brown before marriage to a military guy was it not? I think quite a few of them babes ended up with military guys like Modele Saraf Yusuf if I am not mistaken Wkaay: |
By my own standards o , Eugenia Abu was the most elegant of them back then. Black and chic with a pleasant face at all times |
Bros this tribal and religious bigotry has been ongoing in Nairaland years before this election and it's why I take sabbatical from time to time Guyman01: |
"there is always a first time" ... just like some people said a sitting president has never been unseated in Nigeria and others would say.... there is always a first time HIGHESTPOPORI: |
YEs you will bring the form EC8A to a competent court and use it to POINT to the irregularity in the result declared and not just to dump your boxes of forms in the court and assume the judge will sort it out for you. The onus of proof is on the lawyers for LP and Mr Obi to use those forms to prove their case and if you think they did, perhaps can explain to us how, citing just one example... DMerciful: |
I mentioned this point previously during the earlier proceedings that what was the purpose of the boxes of forms EC8 brought to court, is it to prove irregularities with the result declared by INEC or what? because I did not get the impression that the content of those boxes were actually tallied together on a separate sheets to explain to the judges why the result declared by INEC should not stand. Yes they were admitted as evidences, but to prove what? I used the analogy of a lawyer saying " your lordship, this is a glove that was found at the murder scene, please accept as evidence" what does that prove to anyone but if it goes like this " your lordship, this is a glove that was found at the murder scene and which has the DNA of the accused" then that makes sense to anyone. I think people are making assumptions that because the SANs have brought all these boxes to court, then it must be something tangible, but we don't need to be SANs to ask the question " what is the relevance of all the boxes of EC8 forms to proving irregularities in the election result?". Don't forget that Lawyers are good at making you think you have a case when you have nada casualobserver: |
Just out of sincere curiosity, and I want any one with the answer to help me out, Since after the elections of June 12 1993, which particular election has been certified by the international observers as being the best conducted with the most acceptable outcome to everyone involved? Having said that, may I also ask how many international observers did observe the last American Presidential election in 2020 and what was their findings? I am asking because we know that up till this day a substantial portion of Trump's supporters believe the election was rigged. We Africans have placed ourselves in a position of inferiority complex where we need foreign observers to observe and validate our election results for us. And also, it appears that our own standard for defining a credible election is only if our candidate won, if not the elections are not credible Let us be reminded that the second term election that returned Peter Obi to power in Anambra was labelled as FLAWED by REUTERS, but this did not stop PO from claiming victory in that election. Observers or not, everyone already have their beliefs about the credibility of the election and I bet if the EU Observers had said otherwise, the same people here hailing their report would still condemn them as having being bribed |
....maybe when you are able to present solid evidence of the 'fraud'............................the you can write a letter to the US president as usual to help you prosecute them babydioku: |
I think this should serve as a lesson to all, including bloggers and even government officials to always to do a bit of verification in cases like this one. Investigative journalism has given way to sensationalism now and everyone try to rush to print news without properly checking even the source. They can all borrow a leaf from Guinness Book of Records who took their time to properly check and verify the evidence for Hilda's cook-a-thon record attempt |

Ogbeni Preacher, why dont you start a thread in the religion section so that those who want to find out why your God finds it difficult to forgive the sins of his creatures until he drinks the blood of his own son can then ask you the questions about that logic gentleman82: |

To be honest I was just back on Nairaland during this last elections, the level tribalism on this platform is unprecedented so much that i took a leave of absence some years back. When i joined here in 2006, there were variety of topics that we all enjoyed together regardless of tribes and religions, but the level of polarisation now is disheartening to be honest. Every innocent topic n ow must be tainted with tribalism.... and i dont even want to blame any set or tribe in particular for this as we are all guilty .... sometimes of overreacting fams22: |
