God bless you bro! Some young Nigerians won several Guinness World Record awards for other highly skilful stuffs but no one is noticing them. Not putting down her preparedness and determination, but Hilda got this much attention because of her previous presence on social media https://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2023/02/15/nigeria-Guinness-World-Records-rope-skips-one-minute-one-leg/2791676485660/#:~:text=Ezekiel%20managed%20265%20skips%20on,by%20Rasel%20Islam%20of%20Bangladesh. You meant the person who came third and was voted for by 6.1 million people.and voted against by almost 16 million? LesbianBoy: |
Maybe because the whole SouthEast are and have always been obsessed with TInubu also, so what do you expect when you are trying to sell Obi as the Saviour? Could you imagine the volume of vitriol and name calling done against TInubu in this last election and you cannot really see who is obsessed with whom ? slowice: |

He for better make you kukuma no try to defend his serial defection because it is on tape that he, Gringory himself said that defecting to another party is not a solution and as for being advised on Twitter I have only one word... waaaooh! So Gringory himself never had the ambition to lead Nigeria and it took an unknown small boy on Twitter to ginger him into action....hmmmmm, no wonder the man dey take advice from madmen VinnyBaba: |
Because we human beings are naturally biased due to our affinity or affiliation to a group or idea, objectivity naturally flies out of the window when it comes to commenting on issues like this. Now for a second let us assume the shoe is on the other leg and it is now HIlda trying to break the record of the other chef in Ekiti or wherever, I am very certain some of us here would see nothing wrong with it and say it is a free world after all someone from India held that record before now. What am rambling on about is that criticisms of the attempts to break this cookathon record is not based on objectivity, agreed Hilda might have opened thier eyes to that area of record breaking nevertheless no one has the monopoly of keeping a record and anyone is free to attempt to break it at anytime they feel comfortable to make a try |
Claude Eke- Jegede Shokoya gone too hardbody: |
I am surprised you took time replying to this person. He probably only saw a few adverts made by Zebrudaya in later times and most likely was not old enough to watch New Masquerade then... otherwise he wont make that comment Fireborn: |
Exactly my thoughts , I was like he is only 73? Nevertheless, enjoyed his comedy back then and he carved his own niche with the massacring of the English Grammar. He popularised the use of Gringory for Gregory ( apologies to PO), you can't but have a good laugh at each episode Quintopia: |
Gbadebo , have you heard about Tsar Bomba built by Russia, thats one badass of a nuclear bomb the the likes of which has never been built again by any nation including the US. BIko make we no joke with Russia o, even if they appear to have been unable to assemble a proper army due to their poor economic situation https://www.wionews.com/photos/russias-tsar-bomba-worlds-most-powerful-nuclear-weapon-of-mass-destruction-460924 Gbadebo19: |
What is special about it is the hypocrisy of you EluPee and Obidients. The amount of venom that has been poured on the Rep guy who called Tinubu my president is enough to destroy Sambisa and here you have Alex Otti grinning from ear to ear from meeting Tinubu. Now I would have expected all elected LP candidates to reject any invitation to meet or discuss with Tinubu BECAUSE you people dont recognise him as the President, more so that a case is still in court. May we therefore ask in what capacity ( of TInubu) is Otti meeting with him , as the "selected" president? Get your act together, either recognise Tinubu as your President or not and stop your EluPee lawmakers and governor from having any further contact with him, it is that simple. Amarabae: |
What would you have done in the position of Mahmood? Cancel the election that has already been concluded? Human beings and human rice sha.......dont ever bother to satisfy them........people would have taken it to the rooftops if Mahmood had said " pellow Nigerians, because of malfunctioning BVAS and IReV all the votes you cast today are now cancelled, a presh day will be announced to try again and we hope BVAS would work with IReV this time and if not we go cancel am again until BVA works in sych with IReV , sorry por the incompenience....." Imagine what would have happened in Nigeria on that fateful day.......End SARS for be child's play ..... how people would have taken tp the streets to rpotests the cancellation becasue each one of their candidates was winning..... biko why go through this hassles when there is an alternative method of doing it that does not compromise the overall outcome...... unohbethel: |
Peter Gringory Obi is a clueless dunce, no amount of packaging can change that fact! yen tun n ko? Strafudeen: |
Epistle of Saint Anyiamaka! The same Obi that all of you, including the Labour Party where he currently sojourns were dragging on the floor on archive threads from nairaland and other platforms back in the days as non-performing, is whom you are comparing to Kwankwanso. Tell me and I really want to learn for good, what is it in Obi that you think Kwankwanso, Atiku and Tinubu would aspire to be? Is it his oratory prowess and coherence ( zero), his well documentedhuman capital development ( nowhere to be found) ? his party loyalty and dedication ( zero, he would have no problem dumping EluPee if the need warrant it), his integrity (not with the pandora papers. 250 million cash saga and investing state money in his family business... to mention a few), his academic proficiency ( no record of WAEC/GCE to enter UNN, had four F9s and one C5 in GCE he did two years after leaving Uni), His leadership and vision? his most touted investment in Anambra during his tenure is a brewery His honesty? a not very good liar who has contradicted himself many times whilst spewing out rubbish statistics and attempt to portray himself as a frugal person. You people know for real that Obi is not all that you are making him up to be, but who cares all you wanted was an Ibo man, forget the rest Anyiamaka: |
Mind him not ,he is a sore loser spewing venom! Even sensible Non-Batists and Obidients like Murray Bruce have made peace and settled for reality. BAT knows what the job entails and hit the ground running straightaway......meetings here and there with various stakeholders, enactment and pronouncement which portend positive change for the betterment of Nigeria and yet one embittered person or persons still find it difficult to overcome their bigotry and join the clamour for good governance sreamsense: |
Na only Akara I see for fire o Jokes apart, can you see the hypocrisy of people here, they are condemning her now for attempting to break Hilda's so-called record so soon, is it no longer a free and competitive world again.... no be someone's record Hilda broke ni? |
Why don't you try first?, not everyone is a bigot you know. Just make an effort, try to show what are the decisive stuffs that have happened so far. Unless you think you are so smart that your words cannot be disputed. Tell us a few points so far with the proceedings that are decisive and forget about corn or maize or whatever ....... JasonScoolari: |
I have not seen anything either, whats the hulabaloo, there is no need for optician you can please explain to us what you have seen so far that is decisive JasonScoolari: |
Why would we want them as President and VP, because they are MEN IN BLACK? ![]() emmanuelbrown26: |
Brilliant! Those are the relevant evidences as far as I am concerned and not just trying to prove that BVAS did not upload to IReV therefore the result is not valid. We are waiting for those type of evidences to come up and I hope they are actually coming ........ and there are enough of such discrepancies for the tribunal to agree that election was flawed or that Obi or Atiku should have won....... wirinet: |
This is exactly what I was going to ask also..... what are we deriving form these testimonies....that BVAS could not upload result and then what? Did that change any of the results recorded on the signed form EC8A...... from what was eventually declared? THE lawyers should be prepared to show evidences that what was recorded on the EC8A forms were different from what was declared eventually at the final collation centre, otherwise trying to fault the election because BVA could not connect to IREV is a bloody waste of time bothering on technicalities....... DoTheNeedful: |
DIdnt someone advised you earlier on to channel your energy to good use because 8 years is a long time? Anyway, how many people live in the rural areas compare to the urban and why would they need to generate their own energy? What is the point of your comment, that the bill is not good enough or you have something better in mind? KingLennon: |
No one but you did, because that is what you were looking for specifically abhosts: |
I dont know where you got your analysis from but in absolute values, fuel is cheaper in Nigeria than the USA. https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/ In any case, why did you limit your comparison to USA? Why not compare with Saudi, Oman , Qatar, Russia etc who are major players in the oil sectors and are already more developed than Nigeria. What is the relative cost of fuel locally in those places? Why not compare with the European countries who are richer than Nigeria and can afford to subsidise fuel for their people. Of all the major oil producing countries in the world only Angola, Libya, Venezuela and Iran have local prices cheaper than Nigeria and even Angola is looking to remove the subsidy soonest. And by the way of all these countries only Iran with 87 million people has a relatively large population, Libyans are less than 7 million in number and so why would it be difficult for their government, leaving off the legacy of Ghadaffi not be able to subsidise fuel given also their daily production. APOSTLECHUMA: |
Uncle, God bless you for this response, it aptly summarises the hypocrisy and the lack of objectivity in statements like this one. We for ask am, even your hero Nnamdi Kanu wait for DSS to gbab am? Him no flee the country go sojourn abroad, where is the heroism in that? Okealaaye: |
I am surprised you mentioned Angola and Libya perhaps you should added Venezuela to it also, but what you failed to mention is that those countries are also going through the same problem of underdevelopment and smuggling to neighbouring countries, go and confirm ther case of Venezuela. `If you want to make a proper comparison check out the domestic prices of fuel in Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Russia etc who are major players in the oil business and all of whom now buy fuel locally at prices higher than in Nigeria and most of whom also used to subsidise fuel for their citizens. We will have these issues as long as their is a big difference in prices across border. People living on the Finnish border with Russia used to drive across to drive to buy cheap fuel, but with prices inN Russia almost the same as in Finland I doubt if it is still worth the hassles again. And by the way what are the populations of these countries and how many cars have they got on the road which their governments are subsidising

|
Please dont mind them o. Not just illegal immigrants, but guns and drugs as well get smuggled to the ~US even with the best of border control technologies. Smuggling of PMS is not only done by driving a tanker across the border, smugglers have devised all sorts of ingenious ways of smuggling it across which a host of Nairalanders have told us about in other threads, and yes, their is the complicity of the border official but it is not just straightforward as people make it to be RenaissanceGuy: |
Has anyone read about this from one of Atiku's witnesses https://www.legit.ng/politics/1538340-fresh-twist-hits-presidential-tribunal-witness-accuse-peter-obi-rigging/ In.addition to fighting Tinubu, Atiku has to destroy Obi's case to prove he won. Obi has to do the same and so they end up destroying each other instead |
Really, all Nigerians are fraudsters, including yourself? Bigbright7: |
Kudos to Innoson and it reminds me of Onwuka Hi Tek back in the days, honestly this great country is blessed with the resources to make her greater. If only the right policies are in place to support local production. Unfettered importation of goods is what killed the likes of Annamco , General Motors and Exide Batteries in Ibadan. For those who know, government import tariffs have always been in favour of bringing in CKD for local assembly rather than bringing in fully assembled vehicles, but the Customs Services who administers the policies has always been complicit along with importers in not paying the correct duty. That is why the likes of Oluwalogbon could sell imported Toyota Hilux cheaper than the locally assembled Isuzu Tiger of General Motors despite the massive difference in the import duty imposed on both categories of which was meant to encourage local assembly |
Why do you bother bros ,do you think they are listening? They have heard all this normal and sensible interpretation before but they do not care for any sensible explanations other than their own stupid and senseless interpretation. It is obvious to anyone with a bit of common sense that FCT as location is never meant to be superior to any other location in the country with this so called provision. DrBasit: |
