If you don't know Anambra State and the impact of Obi's governorship, you don't keep quiet, you ask! Have you heard about Upper Iweka? The insecurity in Anambra before Obi was Gov. The state of government and missionary schools before he was Gov and the turn around the man without PHD did in the education sector of his state that made Anambra take first position in WAEC. This year, highest JAMB scores are from Anambra. There are still ripping the benefit of Obi's governorship 9years after. What about the state of roads in Anambra before he was Gov and their state after he left office? I can go on and on. After 2015, the woeful presidency of Buhari put our country in recession yet the Anambra Gov built an Airport and a world class International Conference Centre that is one of the best in the country. If Obi had stolen the state's money like Kwakwanso and Tinubu, what magic would have made the construction of those projects under Obiano possible in a Nigeria the failed Buhari put in an economic mess? I can go on and on but to what end?

In summary, It is an insult to compare Obi and Kwakwanso. Levels dey. Obi won 12 states in the election, Kwakwanso won only 1 state without any effects . Obi is in the Tribunal to retrieve his stolen mandate but Kwakwanso is lobbying to be made a common minister!!! Which means he is not really big enough to be the Vice President. Brilliant! Those are the relevant evidences as far as I am concerned and not just trying to prove that BVAS did not upload to IReV therefore the result is not valid. We are waiting for those type of evidences to come up and I hope they are actually coming ........ and there are enough of such discrepancies for the tribunal to agree that election was flawed or that Obi or Atiku should have won.......

THE lawyers should be prepared to show evidences that what was recorded on the EC8A forms were different from what was declared eventually at the final collation centre, otherwise trying to fault the election because BVA could not connect to IREV is a bloody waste of time bothering on technicalities.......

In any case, why did you limit your comparison to USA? Why not compare with Saudi, Oman , Qatar, Russia etc who are major players in the oil sectors and are already more developed than Nigeria. What is the relative cost of fuel locally in those places? Why not compare with the European countries who are richer than Nigeria and can afford to subsidise fuel for their people.

Of all the major oil producing countries in the world only Angola, Libya, Venezuela and Iran have local prices cheaper than Nigeria and even Angola is looking to remove the subsidy soonest. And by the way of all these countries only Iran with 87 million people has a relatively large population, Libyans are less than 7 million in number and so why would it be difficult for their government, leaving off the legacy of Ghadaffi not be able to subsidise fuel given also their daily production.

`If you want to make a proper comparison check out the domestic prices of fuel in Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Russia etc who are major players in the oil business and all of whom now buy fuel locally at prices higher than in Nigeria and most of whom also used to subsidise fuel for their citizens. We will have these issues as long as their is a big difference in prices across border. People living on the Finnish border with Russia used to drive across to drive to buy cheap fuel, but with prices inN Russia almost the same as in Finland I doubt if it is still worth the hassles again.

And by the way what are the populations of these countries and how many cars have they got on the road which their governments are subsidising

It simply means a winner must have 25% in 24States of the federation. It could be 25% in 23 States plus 25% in FCT or 25% in any 24 states without 25% in FCT. Either way, it is still correct.
