All onsite courses are about 2000 USD everywhere because they are better than the online courses.

Employers prefer the onsite courses because you will undergo 20 hours of teaching practice.

The TEFL body only assist the onsite graduates with worldwide job search, set up interviews for you etc, online graduates don't have these privileges.

Is better you look for money to do the onsite course.

Hmmm, the online option has very limited opportunities, only English native speakers enjoy the online option.
I suggest you go for onsite course in Sau Paolo or Rio de jenerio, it's a 6 weeks course so 3 months tourist Visa will cover for that, and they will also introduce you to basics of Portuguese to aid communication in the Classroom.

Budget a minimum of 4000 USD for everything, (Visa, Flight, Tuition, Accommodation, Feeding etc).

A little correction. The "qualifying experience" means experience that you obtained inside Canada. So if you have worked 2years full time in caregiving inside canada, instead of applying for work permit, you are to apply straight to permanent residence and if they verify and find this to be true, you will be granted permanent residence.

If you have less than 2 years qualifying work experience ie you worked in Canada less than 2 years, you apply for extension or adjustment of your workpermit (so that you can complete the required 2years) and permanent residence..but your permanent residence will only be granted after you have completed the required 2years.

If you dont have any qualifying work experience..meaning you have never worked in Canada as a caregiver before or probably never worked as a caregiver anywhere else before, you will apply for both work permit and permane nt residence at the same time too, but must complete the required 2 years before you are granted the permanent residence.

The only meaningful thing you can do in Brazil is to teach English, obtain your onsite TEFL certificate and kick start your journey.

Expect 500 USD monthly for a start.

Google is your friend, for a Canadian employer to sponsor a foreigner to come and work in Canada, the company must prove to the Govt that it has made all efforts to employ a Citizen or Permanent Resident to no avail, This process takes an average of 2 months, and a document called positive LMIA will be provided.

After, the Govt will check the books and records of the company to see if they don't abuse foreign workers and they are not owing taxes, this takes another 1 month.

The average processing time for Canada work permit from Nigeria is 6 months.

If you don't have Over the moon skills that can't be found in Canada, no employer will undergo this stress because of you when he can hire someone within a month in Canada.

This information is for those who have previouse working experience in the said occupations before they submit their application, it could be in Nigeria or anywhere in the world.

If you don't have previous experience you can still apply but you must prove to the Visa Officer that you can do the job through an accepted training or personal experience on any of the said occupations.

In both cases you must receive a valid Job Offer from a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident or a Canadian Registered caregiver Company before you apply.
