Nairaland GeneralRe: Landers That Where Banned By Banorable Seun. Sss,efcc, Icpc, Mopol, Etc. by BABEELOVE(f): 5:40pm On Aug 20, 2007
It is my personal opinion that there are no cogent reasons for being banned.  Since there are far more obnoxious groups of people in circulation---getting away with daylight robbery and cold blooded murder-----than those being banned by "El Rufai".  It comes down to what was consumed for breakfast at any given morning or what any of the leading ladies--or should I say "flavor of the week" whispered into the skull the night before! kiss

Remember, Nairaland is a true "mirror" of Nigeria!  Dictatorship is the supreme legacy with "bottom" power as its main ingredient----- no matter what type of regime is described on paper!-------besides, let's not forget the age of the president

Hi All,

It is with great interest that i observe your various musings regarding the NIN and NID syndrome, You are all one and the same however you have suffered 2 distinct experiences in your growth and development. You are quite different regarding your attitude to life and perceptions of success, But one thing is certain your jokes are quite serious!!

The moderator must be asked what his take is on the issues at hand, Thanks to Paw-Paw for raising this unspoken tension that exists between NID's and NIN's, I love the thread and was quite intrigued by some view points, You've all spoken well but my personal take on this is that where do you stand in the newly globalized world?

Would it be better to be a NIN or a NID, The world is changing and i suggest you all harness your skills and koin hands in ensurion that NIGERIANS {Both NID's and NIN's} join forces and confront the common enemy as opposed to causing more division in an already divided entity called Nigeria,

PAW-PAW, Arrange yourself my guy , no your way no be curse, and don't forget say for warri if nothing somethin go always dey fro pipeline,

look I have given them all these information over and over again on different occasion. most times after collecting the information about you and line, the next thing they say is that they can't access their data system at the moment that you should call them back at a give time which for sure by them you will another different customer care representative or that you should not worry that they are going to call you back later which would never happen.

@ BABEELOVE what did you mean by this craphuh I don't get it and I want you explain to me better embarassed
All I am saying is that if you have to call a customer care center for almost a year in anypart of this world in present 2007-----------you have been scammed!  Dem don chop "ya dollar"! grin

chrisoml:
on January 9th I recharged 750 naira to my Glo line 08053938046. I made some calls and was left with about 480 naira worth of credit. Then later that night i tried to call a friend of mine but trust our Naija network, it refused to connect. I said ok maybe a text will do, yet I keep on receiving an error massage saying your message can not be delivered at the moment. The next day I tried to use my phone, they said that I have insufficient credit on my phone. Since on the 10th of January I have been calling Glo customer care embarassed embarassed, each i time i called I would get a different person from their customer service to speak with me.
Their stories always is that they are doing some investigation or that their engineers are working on the system or upgrading. Most times they would say that they can't access their database system.
some times the type of questions they would asking is very very annoying like one of their supervisor was asking me where i was at the moment; I answered, he even asked me of my street address and some other rubbish which kind of made me mad and i refused to answer such cus I might end up being rubbed who knows.
Me am tired of them stories and told them that with that attitude, if they can't credit my line back that i would be dropping off their fraudulent line which I did because I can't be loosing my money that way to fraud.

Did any one in the house have such experience? embarassed
No thank God! We do not deal with such inefficient companies in some other part of the world like Ghana! kiss

Lagos Has 2,567 Registered Prostitutes

Quote from Long One:

@ babeelove, hope i didnt touch a raw nerve, sure i can vouch for marriage but for relationships with sex, and prostitution, whats the difference. Prostituition is still a form of relationship, though a business one, because a prostitute can still turn u down.

@ Long One:

Not at all my dear.  Are you saying that besides marriage, people in "committed long term relationships" are in the business and the true patrons of this business are in some kind of relationship?  Even if the prostitutes "turn" their clients down how does it change the fact that they are still "businessmen and women"?

I think we are talking of those who do whatever for pleasure as opposed to the "business-minded" class of people.  In the final analysis--it is anyone's guess because I am sure there are no clear demarcations between those in the Faculty of Economics , Faculty of Religious Knowledge----(ndi ne mee B.K. or mebi  ike)

and those in Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology in the

University of Prostitution!

but the whole problem with Nigeria has evenly been on Oil, so what do you think, if oil wasn't found in olobiri (first oil ring), Do you think the politicians gesturing to get into power by all means would be doing so?
I say look again.  I think you are heading south of the border with your thoughts.  Saudi Arabia and Emirates also discovered oil once upon a time too.  Other countries do not have a tenth of what you say we have and have still managed to move up the food chain.  So think again my friend.  It is the curse of the skin color me thinks.
