Very rightly said. Man, u be Prof. O!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  What has fussing about a woman got to do with showing lovehuh  If the woman wants you to fuss over her as a "proof" of your love--how dare you not "fuss" abi na "fuse"huh undecided

You see, you guys fail! Whatever it takes to make that woman feel that love is what you must do.  It does not mean you should be a mugu or cave in to unreasonable demands of childish attention and nagging.  For example--I like to laff and I like club well well----dancing is #1 for me.  If a dude is not funny and cannot dance----all bets are off!!!

Now the topic is not about women--so let us not complicate issues.

Bottom line--if you know what makes your partner happy--you gotcha do it like Nike says.  That is love right there!!!!

extreme:
To be quite honest, despite all girls would think and say; guys are actually the most faithful in relationships. chicks on the other hand are just too good at lying and thats why you hear of cases where a man would be living with his wife and children that are sometimes not his. guys don't tell lies too well when compared to the girls. in fact once you get a guy to love you he becomes more or less a sucker and at that point he becomes almost helpless. and that is why we guard our hearts cus its hard to meet a chick that is worth the stress. once a lady finds out you are crazy for her, its like giving a gun to a toddler. totally reckless. she might just kill you. Guys be careful!, it has happened to me one time too often.
You still have a lot to learn---thank God for Nairaland!!! grin

PoliticsRe: Igbos! What To Do With Laudate, Dimka, Batu And Other Knaves Of Like Minds by BABEELOVE(f): 2:31pm On Aug 14, 2007
Na wah for Nigeria oh!  And Oprah Winfrey has not even spoken on this matter yet!!! grin  Una wan kill una selveshuh undecided For wetin nowhuh  The oppressors are in Asokoro having coffee and buttery biscuits,  but you guys are here doing what I cannot understand.  I have learned to stay away from tribal threads--so please if you see any tribal thread with "members only" sign in front of the door---make una no enter oh--even if them invite una!!!!!! Especially if dem dey speak some kain "language" wen una no understand--- Just peep small, then waka pass je je!!! Because you need invitation to enter those places. That means you are not invited.  Nairaland is a very large place and I have come to respect people who never venture into certain areas.

As for threads that target a particular tribe, the very same people complaining about people like dimka and Xris and so on, will be the same people that rush to respond to the thread.  If you do not like what you see, why don't you guys just move on.  Nothing in this world will make me respond to a "dimka' thread ---no matter how educational it is---and you know the reason why----  dimka threads are obnoxious!  Xris----your threads are malicious.  So why people show up there is what I cannot understand---to receive insults I guess!!!.

------I say I am learning well!!!!
PoliticsRe: Why It May Take Eternity For Nigeria To Move Forward by BABEELOVE(f): 2:12pm On Aug 14, 2007
Sorry for misrepresenting your post. I actually did not uderstand it the first time---my bad. There has been so much fighting here that the feeling carried over from other areas.

You are right. I wish some of us could have that feeling of optimism that you have. Thank you for minimizing your tongue lashing--to the most basic format. I duely apologise.

Even if some of us present "anti-progressive" style like you called it, deep down in our hearts we wish Nigeria well. It is just that some times that is the only way we can express ourselves. I don't think there is anyone on this planet that hates the country of his or her birth-----no matter what he or she experienced there. So in the final analysis, we could curse at each other or fight each other---like most parts of the progressive world did in the past. We will definitely find ways to work out our problems--we just have to find those ways. We are all searching! It is frustrating to all.

dblock,

For someone with almost 5,000 post under your belt, don't you think you should act more like a Nairaland "elder".  You should be a voice of reason here not a divisive one.  Are you not tired of fighting.  Even me, I am tired.  Please let us just manage sha--to see reason with one another!!!

This thread is incorrect.

Every Nigerian Bad Mouths Nigeria.

I'd say only 2% of the population love this country. 98% would leave the country if they were handed free visas. And people wonder why Nigeria is where it is today.

Greener Pasture Dickheads.
dblock:
Which clarifies my point.

98% of Nigerians are only out for material things.

If I asked every Nigerian if they would let Nigeria be blown up for a Billion dollars. The majority of people would say yes.

My problem, is not with people leaving Nigeria. I mean I don't live in Nigeria. My problem is that Nigerians in Diaspora, are only interested in Lavish lifestyles.

What will they do, if Britain, America and other Developed countries become Moribund, due to Over Migration. Will they go in search of other Galaxies.

When the going gets tough, the pussies get going.
Why do I get this eerie feeling that I am still in "Romance and Sexuality" sectionshuh-- huh

Come oh! dblock are we discussing "oboatioko" topics herehuh shocked

@BABEELOVE

I did not praise one and discount the other other O! I said both were teachers and not life sacrificers.

You too should start by teaching. Martin Luther King did not dive into the path of a randomly ricocheting bullet so that African Americans may be liberated, and neither did Malcom X. It was their teachings, their seminars, their lectures.

Today thank God for technology, you have email, you have the internet, you have blogs and different forums. Why don't you teach people how to help themselves rather than condemn them.
denex? Kai!!! Who should teach whathuh huh

For you to teach anyone, anything---you must have a receptive audience. Not only did Martin and Malcom teach, they led by example. What literature are you readinghuh In nigeria, we are physiologically and spititually poor that any room for accquiring knowledge has gone to the dogs!!! How can you teach a hungry studenthuh All you will hear in the classroom is a "rumbling" stomach. You know from our personal experience this "unecessary" sound effects can be distracting to all. No goals achieved there oh!

For those of you who do not know much about Martin Luther King, please I suggest you people stop using his name for any comparisons.

Do you think his aim was to die for the freedom of African Americans or to Teach them about where they are meant to be and how they are meant to be living.

And without a pro-violence believers of Malcom X, the government would not have accepted the pro-peace dreamers of Martin Luther King.

What these people did was to educate and teach not to die. They were killed in order that their teachings will be stopped.

You too can start teaching simply by downloading a copy of the Nigerian constitution and sending it to every one in your addressbook and urging them to forward it even farther.
Denex, please now---let the matter rest!  Malcom X or Martin L. king---civil disobedience or radical disobedience---they both worked hard to make African Americans smile today.  Why praise one and discount the otherhuh

Nigeria's problem is not found in some "recipe book" constitution, but in our individual or collective bodily "constitution"!!!  We need a total makeover in the way we think and address issues!!! We need to understand what the word "patroitism" means!!! It is not even in our dictionary yet.
