Tflex01:My brother you’re right. We’re all silly. We the masses. There’s a 4th option. TO ORGANIZE OURSELVES and PICK OUR OWN LEADER TO VOTE FOR. We can’t keep letting the political/elite class pick leaders for us. They don’t have our best interests at heart. I can’t even fully get behind Obi because he’s not even talking about restructuring and destroying that bullshit constitution. And I know we already have the time to organize because I see all the million man marches for Tinubu and Obi. FUCKKKK OBI FUCCKKK TINUBU FUCCCKKK ATIKU. Let’s organize. |
TakeNigeriaBack:Honestly, we’re both not making sense. What are we doing fighting for people that don’t share the same struggle as us? Shouldn’t we the proletariat be organizing? Pick a day to gather ourselves . Select our own leader from within who shares the same views as us. Fuuccckkk Obi Fuckkkk Atiku Fuckkkkk Tinubu |
plaindealer:Ok first of all, why are there so much Tinubu supporters online at midnight? ![]() (1) On February 18, 2009, SaharaReporters obtained original copies of a judgment in the case of United States versus Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in which Tinubu was charged (along with other defendants) in a case of massive drug trafficking and money laundering. This judgment directly relates to (and further documents) the SaharaReporters report of September 16, 2008 – How US Federal Agents successfully Linked Tinubu to Drug Trafficking Ring in Chicago. The United States of America, by its attorney, Michael J. Shepard, United States Attorney for Northern District of Illinois, for its verified complaint of forfeiture, stated that “Beginning as early as 1998, Adegboyega Mueez Akande, with others operated an organisation which distributed white heroin, a controlled substance under Title 21 of the United States Code. “This distribution operation was conducted on a large scale and the proceeds of the operation substantial.” The judgment was that the court ordered: “that the funds in the amount of $460,000 in account in the name of Bola Tinubu represents proceeds of narcotics or were involved in financial transactions in violation of 18 U.S.C ss 1956 and 1957 and therefore these funds are forfeited to the United States.” (2) A bigger scandal was uncovered in 2018 when Alpa Beta, a consultancy owned by Bola Tinubu, was caught at the centre of a N100 billion fraud, tax evasion, and money laundering petition written by Mr. Dapo Apara, its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. According to Apara’s petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Alpha Beta “has become an avenue for official corruption of government officials, a conduit pipe for massive money-laundering scheme, tax evasion, among other vices.” In the petition, sent on his behalf by Adetunji Adegboyega ESG, his solicitors, Apara said: “Over the years the company is being protected and shielded by some powerful politicians and people in the society which made them to always boast of being untouchable, but our client, feeling the need not to keep quiet again and strengthened by his belief in the fact that the government of President Muhammadu Buhari is keen on fighting corruption, which has been the bane of our country, is of the firm belief that it’s time to expose and open the can of worms called Alpha Beta Consulting.” Alpha Beta first became known when it was appointed as a consultant to the Lagos State Government, arguably its first client, under the tenure of Babatunde Fowler as the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue from 2005 to 2014. The company got the appointment when Tinubu was Governor of Lagos State. The speculation, which has yet to dissipate since then, is that Tinubu completely owns or is a major shareholder in the company. In the same vein, the state has also never denied claims that the company takes about 10 percent of the internally generated revenue of Lagos, estimated in 2016 to be about N40 billion every month. Apara had claimed in the documents that Tinubu, suspiciously diverted N22,360,000,000 and $4,396,063 from the firm’s account to that of Vintage Press Ltd, publisher of The Nation Newspaper. |
TakeNigeriaBack:Lol I thought you belonged to the ones that don’t know the truth, the ones that need guidance. You obviously know the truth but have chosen to stand with the other side of it. I wonder what’s in it for you… All I can tell you is it’s okay. I understand that you do what you do out of survival but you don’t have to rush anymore. It’s okay to trust that Nigeria is enough to feed all of us if we block the holes. We just need to be patient. |
TakeNigeriaBack:I have just one question to ask you, Tinubu’s corruption allegations doesn’t scare you? Someone was telling me the other day that he knows Tinubu is very corrupt but he builds strong institutions. It was so funny to me because there are thousands of books that dissect how corruption eats into and weakens institutions. This doesn’t bother you looking at Nigeria and the effect corruption is having on our oil, education system and so on? |
Tflex01:I have a long list of the things that are mistaken as Tinubu’s antecedents but I’ll not even bother. I have just one question to ask you, Tinubu’s corruption allegations doesn’t scare you? It was so funny to me because there are thousands of books that dissect how corruption eats into and weakens institutions. TakeNigeriaBack:Taking back your country is revolution. It means taking power from those that misuse it. Your act is far from a revolution. Even supporting Peter Obi is far from revolution because he’s still part of the political/elite class even though he remains the best choice in there. You’re going the opposite direction. |
TakeNigeriaBack:But your username is TakeBackNigeria. How can you take back Nigeria by giving Nigeria to APC. Literally the current oppressors in govt. |

Ekundayo7574:If Obi a man without a single effcc case should be in jail, where should Tinubu be? |
Perfectbeing:It's these type of facades I'm talking about. There's no such thing as free education. Countries in Europe, their governments pump billions of Euros from tax collected into education. Even in USA, students run into debt just to get educated. If your kids' school was free in Nigeria, you'd not send them there. Besides, in my opinion, it's also a strategic incentive to make students work harder knowing it's coming from their parents' pocket directly and I think it yielded results. In conclusion, Obi just strikes us as someone who is willing to work for us all and we need that. |
Perfectbeing:It is not rubbish, it's your country's economic history and it's in a book. I totally understand where you're coming from, you also want the best for our country like I do but if you're not careful, you'll miss it! Concerning Tinubu, Eko Atlantic is a very laudable initiative but it still doesn’t do anything for you and I. It only puts more money in the govt pocket but that revenue needs to go into quality schools, important infrastructure, affordable housing, into us! I hope you understand what I’m driving at. Concerning free education? It’s a facade. You dare not take your own kids to public schools. You don’t even know how much good education cost in the west. Infrastructure is lacking heavily for a population of 20m. Have you seen the wait time at the BRT? It’s insanity. There is no reason why we shouldn’t already be using rail like Addis Ababa of 5m population and even lesser revenue. It takes only 7 years to complete even complicated subway systems in saner cities. Concerning Tinubu's IGR? Lollll!! No city in the world uses IGR to brag. It’s mostly just tax! Let me explain what Tinubu’s IGR meant. He increased tax on individuals and private companies which are mostly foreign companies. In turn, these companies simply increased the cost of their services and products they were offering poor Lagosians. These meant Lagosians had to work harder which reduces HDI, BUT this is not a bad initiative, ONLY IF the proceeds of the tax is used to increase the standard of living of the proletariat which Tinubu did not do as seen in the HDI, in our lives. If you really want to see Lagosians' standard of living for what it is, quit looking at the flashy things like the G Wagonz of oil companies CEOs in Lekki/VI or the things you strived to acquire yourself and then look at how LASG has helped you protect these things. |
Perfectbeing:I see. The economic development you see in Lagos today is as result of a something called OPPRESSIVE CAPITALISM that was kickstarted in Lagos when Nigeria was a colony. The same reason why Europeans chose to exploit Nigeria through Lagos, is the same reason why foreign investment troop into Lagos; it’s strategic location - which has now given it economic history. And this has nothing to do with the governors. Whatever development you see in Lagos is private. For the government, one of the tools in which we can measure government performance is HDI. The tax from the private sector/foreign investment can be used to improve human development through life expectancy, standard of living and education. If you live in Lagos, you’d know that all of these are terrible. Life expectancy is 61 years(difficulty in transport, traffic gridlocks, insecurity etc), standard of living of the proletariat is low(no housing, no water), the sch system is so bad, public sch teachers don’t send their own kids to public schools. Concerning healthcare, Tinubu still flies out for basic check up. What Tinubu knows how to do best is find the loopholes in govt. If Abia, Zamfara or Benue was in that location, they would be the Lagos of today irrespective of the governor. In conclusion, using HDI, there are definitely worse governors than Lagos state governors but you must be able to measure the ratio of the state’s history, factors of production, strategic location which all defines their ability to create revenue and then the revenue to the HDI. Lagos revenue is not matching human development at all. Don't get me started on Tinubu's corruption allegations because I suspect it is the cause of the redundancies in human development in Lagos. |
tctrills:This made me look up information on Addis Ababa light rail and apparently, they're in huge debt. I'm really shocked! They owe almost $500m to China export-import bank and they've only managed to make a profit of $12m at a running cost of $120m. I can't even begin to imagine how much Lagos owes for the light rail because I'm pretty sure they've exceeded what they planned out in their feasibility study with inflation and all of that. I think I understand. This shows that you cannot buy everything, sometimes you have to figure it out yourself. It's just like a man who wants a wheel barrow to fetch clay to build a house. He goes to his neighbour's home who owns unlimited wheel barrows to buy one but the neighbour says the wheel barrow will cost him his house. He agrees to it and acquires the wheel barrow and completes his house and celebrates. But the neighbour steps in to take his house. Now his neighbour has unlimited wheel barrows and two houses while the man has just a wheel barrow and no house. He can't sleep inside a wheel barrow nau lol na mumu be that. What he could have done is learn HOW TO BUILD his own wheel barrow. |
Perfectbeing:You can see CONSCIOUS EFFORTS by Peter Obi in Anambra geared towards bettering the lives of the people of Anambra through HDI. I do think there are several aspects he could have done better as governor but overall, he's still the best candidate by a large margin. Who do you think is the best candidate and why? |

anonimi:I read a book that said Europeans owe us Africans a duty to spend as much billions of dollars as they spent for colonization in reeducating Africans but you and I know that's not gonna happen since the regression of Africa will always be of great advantage to Europeans. Instead of them to sell awareness, they're selling guns to us. I was part of the Endsars Movement and I'm an active member of Movement Of The People which was reignited by Seun Kuti. You should join the MOP. You can find them on Instagram and they'll tell you how you can help create awareness. I also take my time to educate people here on NL, even though it's a lot of work. |
