There is the Generic use of the Word Quicken. The word can Change in use at any time. Quicken might mean to Awaken as in the verse you quoted.

Paul Suffered Greatly for the Gospel and this doctrine coming from the pit hell is to deter men to think that Christianity is simple as bread and butter. If you are a true man of God you will suffer greatly e.g your Voice will fall you and this will make you have more faith in God than your Voice. That was why Paul said he was Given a Thorn in the Flesh.

In interpreting scripture you have to look at the context at which the doctrine is drawn out. You may not need to quote other parts of the bible.

The answer is in the passage. look at Job Chapter one and read very well.

I want you to know what Judge is.

In the Old testament there is a part called judges. God raised up men that Could STAND OUT. There are bad judges and good Judges.

If I pronounce a verdict with the appropriate Charges then I am a bad Judge. But see by the biblical standard I am No Judge I cant even Judge Justify My self because Jesus(THE WORD) is The only true Judge. I preach the THE WORD ( JUDGEMENT AND JUSTIFICATION)

You kow when a sentence is passed it is to Justify the Wrong but in the things of the spirit it is not so. Jesus has paid all the sentence that is why we must marry our self with the Word( JESUS)

The Fearful and The Abominable shall have their part that in the lake of fire.
