That's the more reason Tinubu commands respect in Southwest more than OBJ. Southwest see Tinubu as the leader of Yorubas and not Obasanjo. OBJ truly has international recognition being a past president but he has no electoral influence or weight in the southwest.

In fact, they should also beam a search on other states as well. Many of the State governors are culpable and governing as if Nigeria is a lawless society. To pay minimum wage to workers, some of them find it difficult but if it is to spend public funds on irrelevant things, dem no deh get problem.

Lagos State govt should value those properties and pay even if it is just 50% compensation for the owners to relieve them of their loss. Pulling down people's houses without compensation of any sort is a form of wickedness with no human feelings. It's not easy to build house this period especially by people making their money legally. Let's pity people especially when we are making decisions that can affect their livelihood.

This is not a matter of weakling. Buhari defeated Jonathan in the presidential election and he had no choice than to relinquish power. If Jonathan had brought Tinubu to his side and concede some post to him, he wouldn't have lost that election. The fact is you don't underrate an opposition leader who had almost 5 or 6 states under his control and those states are swing states that can determine the winner or loser of the presidential elections.

If not because of the inefficiency in govt owned businesses, he wouldn't have a point to make. Govt can enter into public-private partnership to guarantee efficiency in the running of the national carrier. The owner of Peace Airline will want to protect his own business as any effort by the govt to start it's own airline operations will be a big threat to him.

A sane country is where use of firearms is legalised and a neighbour that hates you can just wake up one day to terminate your life. Everything to you is a sane country.

If majority of government parastatals can work and function the way commercial banks operate in Nigeria, there will be efficiency at least to some extent. But the mindset that whether they work or not, they'll receive their salaries at month end should be discouraged. The govt should introduce an appraisal system carried out by external consultants to track their performance and also ensure they are well remunerated.

Oga, the moral decadence in Abroad is alarming. All in an attempt to guarantee child right, they spoil their children and you find it difficult to castigate them when they go wayward. Well, I'm not from the East and can't tell if Soludo is gradually meeting peoples expectations within the short period he had spent. However, if he inherited good roads from his predecessor and the roads are currently getting bad, does it mean he will not touch or repair it? People should know all critical projects cannot be done at once. I believe criticizing him will spur him to deliver. When people start criticizing a sitting governor, in fact it's an avenue for those working with him and have presence on social media like nairaland to call the governor's attention to it so he can do the needful.
