Thank you for this......The number one problem of Nigeria and African as a whole is knowledge. There is a lot of mental degradation around. But if ordinary female anopheles mosquitoes have been ravaging us for decades, why will the politicians not cajole us?... ola9ja: |
There is a lot of deciet in Lagos. Anybody can do few major roads where everone passes.....but the reality is that Lagos is still a slum! Ilekeh: |
You just called someone dindirin when you just displayed absolute ignorance of what the law says. The problem is most of you don't read. You obviously don't know what the new electoral law says. I would have taken time to explain to you, but I wouldn't know if you will ever understand. I can only ask you to read the constitution very well. INEC has clared him based on what Buhari presented. It is the court that has the power to stop him from contesting. Buhari and his 'strategists' failed in meeting the minimum requirement by electoral act as required by law. The court will settle this, and I hope this man will not be disqualified. But I must be sincere with you, you are absolutely ignorant of what the law says: ItsMeAboki: |
You are one of the reasons black nations are where they are! Jonathan is not the best, but to think Buhari is the alternative is not only insane but reflects the mental degradation of many Nigerians: What change do you stand for when you have Tinubu, Amechi and many ex PDP members as sponsors? It is just that Nigerian youths have lost their souls: It beats my imagination that millions are fighting for both GEJ and Buhari: There is obviously something wrong with Africans: The ability to think rationally is absent. highlandre: |
Who are the masses? It beats my imagination that any right thinking Nigerian will be fighting for these politicians. Both GEJ and Buhari are not the solution to our problems: Is Tinubu and Amechi now saints? Are all the defectors from PDP now saints. But if one needs to chose between the two....I will rather fail forward and never to fail backward. Buhari represents only one thing, and that is backwardness. If he is indeed an honest man as being claimed, he should not have allowed corrupt politicians around him. His honesty should have prevailed over his ambition. Also what vision will a 72 year old have in this dynamic world? The best he can have is a dream!...That is the dillema of this election. But quote me, GEJ is coming back!!!!!! Jimwalex: |
Ask God for understanding....You obviously lack the understanding of God's word.... inimes: |
You obviously don't understand Bible!!!!! zheroes: |
I am not a fan of Jonathan, but Buhari is not an option for any forward thinking man. There is more to Buhari's desperation to become a president. At his age, his love for this nation should make him support a younger and vibrant candidate who is visionary. We dont need a man of experience in Nigerian politics. Experience will only bring about the usual way that has not solved any problem the country faces. What we need is a visionary young leader who sees beyond politics, ethnicity, religion and party affliation. I see a drastic change coming to Nigeria after next month's election. My fear is for the youths who will rather fight for politicians instead of fighting for their destinies. As for President Jonathan, I believe he is a man on an assignment. He is to prepare the way, but definetely not for Buhari!!!!!! |
You are one of the few brilliant minds on this forum! whiterock: |
May God give his family the beatitude to bear the loss....what a display of mental degradation! .......comments like ikpebas will make you revisit evolution theory! |
Marc9:But they never reached the promised land. They perished in the wilderness. I hope this will not become your lot. |
Going by the comments by Nairalanders, the future of this country is bleak. You only come by few objective comments. The truth is that the much needed change we desire as a nation will never come from either GEJ or Buhari........both of them will never become President in a sane nation. That we are only constrained to these two is an indication of our way of thinking as a nation.......For how long do we allow these few politicians to use us as pawns? Like I said in my previous posts, a nation that allows ordinary female anopheles mosquitoes to kill her children and pregnant women will never rise up against any internal oppression. Buhari at 72 is still being seeing as the Economic messiah by the ' tech savvy, 21st century right thinking and educated youth'.......and GEJ, being seeing as a weakling is touted for 2nd term.......That is the dilemma of 2015. As someone in the banking industry, I know of the corruption by the PDP and APC.....We all know that PDP is corrupt, but APC should never portray itself as being corruption free....... |
GEJ is weak, and we all know it...but for any reasonable youth to be clamouring for Buhari is a reflection of how mentally subjected Nigerian youths have become. And the fact that out of 150 million Nigerians, we are constrained to just these two options is an indication that the much desired tomorrow is nothing but a mirage. We overrate ourselves...we are not as brilliant as we see ourselves. Is there any state in Nigeria that there is no poverty? Is there any of these politicians that is not guilty of corruption? I respect OBJ as a person, but his rule of 8 years never resuscitated the ailing power generation. A 72 year old coup plotter Buhari does not have what it takes to govern a 21st century Nigeria. My question is, ' is there any hope for Nigerian youth'?......There is something obviously wrong with the blacks!..... The dilemma of 2015 is choosing between the ugly and the bad... |
Whenever I read about comments by Nigerians on socio media....I cry for this nation. That all the Nigerian youths and elites will either vote for GEJ or Buhari is an indication of how mentally subjected we are. The fact that we can't even define our problems is heart breaking. Are we as people overrated or we are just cowards who cant define what we want. But if ordinary anopheles mosquitoes can be killing our young ones and pregnant women, why won't we allow these politicians to keep on decieving us! PDP and APC will not solve Nigeria's problem. Even in the APC controlled states, there is poverty everywhere. We celebrate medocrity because we have been neglected for long. Is road construction a big deal? Is provision of water a big deal? Corruption as being seen as our major problem is entrenched in the two political parties. With the number of youths we have in this nation, we have the capacity to define our future. But sadly indeed, we still want either GEJ being seen as visionless, and Buhari who is obviously mentally weak and also visionless to lead us in this dynamic world we live with its attendant complexities. The number one problem in Nigeria is not corruption and it is not power...it is basically about the youths, the driving force of any nation that is not taking its place in terms of idea generation and vibrancy.......we are waiting to be given opportunity when we are to take the bulls by the horns....we are not generating wealth by giving excuses......above all, we allow these politicians to use us....we are ok by the little depreciating naira they give us...we are ready to fight for them......we see them as our 'lords'...we don't believe we are capable...our self esteem has been badly eroded...we have lost hope in our capacity.....we are endangered generation! bankylan:Whenever I read about comments by Nigerians on socio media....I cry for this nation. I cry for this nation and the future of young Nigerians.....Comments on social media show how subjected we are as Nigerians. The number one problem is that we can not even identify the problem we are being faced as a nation. Has this generation of young Nigerians totally lost hope? Do we believe in ourselves with all the power of social media at our disposal? Cant we get someone young, brilliant, and visionary to be our president? We are many in numbers, we can gather the needed votes, we can canvass and get supports from young and old. Is a 71 year old man, who has never articulated his vision other than a campaign of hatred against the present government the right candidate to take Nigeria to a new level? It is not about 'I will provide road, water, electricity, 'security'! It is far more than that. I have never been a fan of Jonathan, but is Buhari an alternative? The dilemma this generation is that we are faced with only two choices that are not reflections of the depth of human capital this nation posses. This is my verdict, and I want anyone who cares to take note of this: Jonathan will win next year election even in a free and fair environment, but there will be a crisis from the opposition who are hell bent on ruling this nation. Jonathan may not be the best candidate, but he is the 'anointed' one for a reason that will not be clear to many Nigerians for now.....The change we need will not come from PDP and APC......Until Nigerian youths arise and join hands together, things will remain the same.... |
Jonathan may not be the saviour, to think about Buhari..is the most unfortunate thing about the mental degradation of Nigerian youths...Gowon was 31 when he became president....I hate PDP, but APC is not an option...I want to see a rising of new breeds of politicians that are young and vibrant....but considering the mentality of Nigerian youths judging from comments and opinions on social media, that may be a mirage...If APC comes up with a technocrat, they may win, but with Buhari or Atiku,..mark my word, Jonathan will win,but we will witness some violence from northerners who are religion extremists.....I must conclude, Nigerian youths are endangered... |
I am sure you don't really understand what you wrote... dustydee: |
Omg! One of the lessons I learnt about 5 years ago.....Have a domain name instead of a free .......I read this when I started researching about web business years ago. It is a painful one. But if it is on the basis of plagiarism, then I am afraid for her. The law is clear over this, but I feel it would have been more hard to shut her down over this if she has good lawyers. She needs to hire a good PR consultant and move ahead with another name. The Cheese has been moved! |
When you read comments by Nigerian youths, one will not be surprised at the level of mental deficiency in the country. It does not take any intelligence or creativity to criticize! Most Nigerians are mentally lazy and believe that if you are rich, then you must be dubious. I know of Bishop Oyedepo and Pastor Matthew very well, and I must say that despite my education and years of work, I don't know one tenth of what these men know, and I aspire to read at least a tenth of how wide they read. There are thousands of Nigerian Pastor, and only about 10 are rich...It is then very unintelligent for anyone to say that Nigerian Pastors are rich. Show me one rich pastor in Nigeria, I will show you 200 that can not send their children to good schools. The two Pastors I mentioned are men of God who at the same time have their businesses. I know Winners and KICC, and the folks there are not poor. There are captains of industries in these churches. Go to KICC , and see men and women who are doing well and still serving God. If these people who are more educated, intelligent and doing well in life more than many jobless Nairalanders are going to church and pay their tithes, is it not stupid for any jobless man to say the folks in Church are poor. What does a poor have to give in the first place. It is intelligent to know how much churches make and how much they spend in a month, then you will know the truth. Winners Chapel owns Covenant University, KICC owns Kings University....and Covenant University charges lesser than St Gregory Obalende- a Catholic secondary school charges per term. Does anyone know that Pastor Matthew own a rice farm here in Nigeria that is about 20 times bigger than the one owned by a state in which his farm is situated? Does anyone know that this man stands to Preach 3 hours at his age, yet many young men in their thirties can not stand for 30 minutes......Now a know, it does not take intelligence to criticize. |
There is grand plan concieved in 1989....you can google Abuja declaration of 1989; though it has been deleted online......The islamists want to take over Nigeria, and their first point is North east...Have you ever wondered how thess guys are recruiting and getting their weapons......If the Christians and the true Muslims don't act now, we may be going the way of Iraq.......I have never been a fan of GEJ and the PDP, but I believe the nation needs to support him now......He is fighting against those who want to fulfill the mandate of 1989 Abuja declaration of the Organization of the Islamic Countries.....South west needs to be careful, they will appeal to our sence of reasonings, but there is a hidden agenda.............I thought it was a conspiracy theory until I stumbled into some information........If the missionary schools in Osun state are being taken over, then south west must be careful..............there is grand plan! Jonathan will perhaps not bring the economic development we all crave for, I am sure God wants to use him to scuttle this grand plan......I love muslims, I have many as friends....but come 2015, Nigeria needs a Chritsian leader, and not necessarily Jonathan. |
Was it a case of hacking or a technical glitch? The guy developing my site told me the true story. Seun obviously made a mistake! It is not for public discussion; but I guess it should be a case study for business owners and start ups in Nigeria. The lesson: be up-to-date--- we live in a dynamic world. Why do you think adverts are not being placed? |
CAF- COALITION OF AFRICAN FOOLS |
It is annoying when an unknown person that has nothing to show for his existence decided to use the remaining 70 naira he was dashed when sent on an errand to go and browse in a non-ventilated cafe in his neighbourhood. Going by this post, I now see that there is a disadvantage in freedom of speech. Mikel can look at his life and say ' I am successful'..His parents and siblings are proud of him. His employer is proud of him. Nigerians are proud of him. Who are you to condemn him? Reveal your identity and let people judge you on how you have fared in your personal life. If you have a career, what have you made out of it? Since you are not constructive, you deserve no decorum. It does not take any intelligence to criticize the way you did, I believe a peep into your upbringing will reveal a child raised in hatred and conflict. Research has shown that people that are highly critical the way you are, have at a time in their lives suffered failure, frustration, neglect, and are perhaps still without hope. |
I saw this lady few months ago around Onipanu bus stop..... |
.....It is only a fool that will believe Iyabo Obasanjo wrote this...... |
..Nice one......................... lincolnj88: |
O$inachi101%:There is nothing like Mikel's mistake. He never made any error. He is an accomplished footballer. He is still playing regularly for Chelsea. He is one of the most successful footballers from Africa at large . |
I must revisit evolution theory if Keshi is not allowed to lead Nigeria to Brazil......Maybe I have to change my nationality..though this has been pending... |

...I graduated from Unilorin. Only 3 people made First class in 2001/2002. Things have changed over the years as more people are now coming out with First class. It got to a time in my set that even the brilliant guys among us were struggling to make 2.1 I remember a lecturer telling then I should forget coming out with First class.......I thought he was joking until I saw myself praying hard for 2.1. A good school though...but I won't allow my children to smell that school. |
do you have any for 1 year rent? |
