OP, you did a nice job. But the phrase, "if I could turn back the hands of time..." is a cliche and is not worthy of being included in poetry. Cliches like this dilute a poet's creativity. Please change to a more unique phrase. |

See them! They'll utter hatred-filled statements about the guy, and yet, they have an irresistible urge to read posts about him. They show their hatred/indifference for the guy, and yet, they follow with passion every news about him. Bloody hypocrites! If you hate someone who's successful doing his own thing, you'll only die of grief if the guy continues to wax stronger. I don't know what people stand to gain from baseless aversion. Bloody hypocrites! Ask them why they hate D'Banj, and they'll find no answer! |
debrief08: Go and look at yourself in the mirror and start saying positive things about yourself.CRAP! This is why most people fail exams. The OP asked a simple question, which demands a very simple answer as well! As for me, the answer is no. If anyone has a "yes" answer, they may go the extra mile of giving details. But that's unnecessary. A simple "yes" or "no" would've answered the question perfectly. |
If you want to make the NL first page, just post about any of these people: D'Banj T.B. Joshua Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde GEJ Gen. Buhari |
larimo: I have decided to show little interest in age-grade competitions when we participate, knowing fully well that we are yet to clean up our mess in age cheating. I have serious doubts that Esther Sunday, Francisca Ordega and Desire are U-20.Ask Google. |

@Akporugo, Thanks for the nice comments. I have this piece of advice for you: to start with, choose a definite, narrow niche to blog on, and forget about the idea of "anything related to business and technology". Lets face it; business and technology are different topics entirely. Even if you choose one of them, you'll need to narrow down your scope if you really hope to make anything out of blogging. Just my 2 kobo! |

They feigned being strong by acquiring the old Intercontinental bank. Now, they're finding it hard to meet up with the capital base. Must they resort to encouraging prostitution in order to keep afloat? If they can't survive, why can't they simply merge with the bigger banks - GTB, Zenith and co? So, even the banking job now lacks rest of mind. Nonsense! |

I totally agree with you. Even though, I'm a freelance writer who has worked with and learned from top-notch editors, I've never for once deemed my writing perfect enough to evade the scrutiny of an editor. |

Nice one man. I'm a freelance writer too, and I'll like us to get closer in order to share ideas and tips. I believe we can learn a lot from each other. What's your email address? Or better still, your phone number? |
I don't advise anyone to wait for adsense. Apart from the fact that they are too selective in terms of approval, many webmasters had told woeful tales of how their adsense accounts were closed abruptly for reasons unknown to them, and without being forewarned. And even in terms of receiving payment from adsense, you're in for a looooong thing. So, go for the less paying, but more friendly AdDynamo. I also recommend Infolinks. You can use both together, as they won't disturb each other. Addynamo posts banner ads while Infolinks embed in-text ads within your content. If you go for adsense, and you make a lot of money, what's the point when your account may get closed down abruptly? If that happens, you'll run stools continuously for weeks! So, be warned. Even the likes of Linda Ikeji now use AdDynamo on their blogs. |
In Nigeria, it's the other way round. Someone must have told our avaricious politicians to "Loot, don't steal little!" |

I keep saying this: in Nigeria, security itself has gone in search for safety! (because security itself is no longer safe). |
