talk2me006: Mumu! we wil laugh at u at d end.Exactly what your predecessors in stupidity said in UK and South Africa. And when the bank begins operation, opportunistic fools like you will be the first customers. Oponu, ode, olodo, afofun... |
rhymz: A lot of people are yet to understand this model.I wonder why many people are ignorant, and yet would want to impose their ignorant views on others. If you don't understand how the thing works, why not Google it and learn! You won't know something and yet, you will transfer your stupidity to your helpless keyboard. Get a brain man! |
Dtwoabbey: Apart from black berry phone then another bb in town i.e. Boko bank. We will soon see what will be d outcome of a bank without interest in a country like nigeria where corruption is the order of the day. Well, just let me say i dey laugh ooooooooooooooo. Lol.Even the conventional banks charge monthly fees from customers' accounts. This is one of the ways these banks will get their income. Secondly, of course, they'll delve into other high profit ventures, such as real estate and so on, just like the conventional banks are doing. So, they have a great chance of survival even without charging interest. Haven't they survived for many years in other countries? |
chinaaman: The bank is only for Muslims so all Christians should give way.You are dead wrong! The banking system is for all, so far you'll agree to play by the rules. What many don't understand is that the "Islamic" is just nomenclature, given due to its origin and nothing more. This same system is extant in UK, South Africa etc. Are those ones Islamic countries? |
uchlukez: they want to raise money for Boko haram?Must your fingers always transmit foolishness from your brain to your keyboard? Even now that the bank is yet to begin operations, is Boko Haram not being well-funded? Tell me, what's the correlation between non-interest, ethical banking and BH? Get a brain man! |
Ranks007: RMD a privately call to Ms. Ikeji wud be more better bro...Oh, you want him to call her privately so that the silly gossip will come out again to say "RMD wooed me"? |
May God punish the FG! |
Mayorwer: I think ppl like BB cos of d unlimited plan on it.Stop deceiving yourself, the plan is not unlimited. It is just 1GB. Most people erroneously think it is unlimited because they do not get to exhaust their 1GB within 30 days. Try downloading 2-3 high quality full length films and you'll see it's not "unlimited". |
*defecates on thread* guy u no get work oo! Come on go to church & make sure u pay ur tithe
lol Do you mean you have no toilet? |
Try infolinks. They are a good match with adsense. Besides, the payment method (via the Payoneer debit card) is very easy for Nigerians. |
defemz: Look to me like the setup was a conspiracy to make it look like boko harams are not only attacking churches and christians but also muslims and mosques. The length some people will go to cover up evil. You're very much on point! Haven't they bombed mosques in the past? Boko Haram is not religious, it is political. Where is Kabiru Sokoto now? What became of their sponsors whose names were posted some months back? And why is Abul Qaqa "unarrestable"? And you tell me this is not political? Wisen up pple! |
Tosinng: @TCD, How will you activate BIS on Android? You try it first, and you'll see how it works. Airtel BIS plan does not recognise the device you are using. In fact, that's what I've been using on my modem for long. So, just insert an airtel Sim into any device and send BSM to 440 to enjoy 1G for the next 30 days. However, if network no good for una area, you're on your own! |
The video evidences should be played on NTA for all of us to see! |
Buhari is Boko Haram. Boko Haram is Buhari. Who will vote for the Terrorist in 2015? Is beyound me. The North should not be voted for come 2015. Not so soon. Why? Answer: Majority of them are supportin Boko Haram becos they lost Power for once. We r born to rule... Cum n Rule my Ass. Fuc-kin Cows.
Then you should have information on how he runs Boko Haram! If yes, then you should be arrested immediately. If no, then you're a prejudiced f.o.o.l! |
redcliff: The thing is and trust me, if can,cpc merge they'l be worse than pdp cos now more people who have diverse interest would conflict over a common interest and we'l be back to square 1Mr Soothsayer, you are on your own with your baseless statement! |
slimming: some people never tired of roping madam Jonathan into any case.Into how many cases has your aunty been roped? Now, start counting! |
Dede1: If there are two functional airports in Lagos metropolis, the DANA flights should not have been allowed to hover for 50 minutes when the Pilot has sent a distress call to the tower. If the Ikeja terminal is shut down because of First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, was MMA also out of bounds for a plane in peril of crashing? It is very asinine to pin the blame of DANA flight crash on Dame Patience Jonathan.Mr Ignoramus, did you mean the airport YOU built in Abeokuta? |
Doctorazz: Hi all,Foolishness is when you find yourself in a situation from which you can escape, and yet do not escape! Foolishness is when you clearly know the right thing to do and you still ask others! Foolishness is when you decide to remain a slave to another fool for 5 solid years! Foolishness is when one prefers avoiding public castigation to jettisoning impending calamities, the indications of which are crystal clear! |
oddy4real: Choi. Nigerians and flawed logic. According to reports, the pilot sent a distress call of "mayday mayday mayday" and then lost touch with the tower's radar. This has nothing to due to VIP movements or shutting of the airport for the first lady. Many of u should be ashamed for playing politics and trying to score cheap political points with the death of hundreds of people. Were you inside the plane? Were you there when he sent the distress calls? Or must you believe all that the media tells you? Foolish is the man who does not read newspapers. Even more foolish is the man who believes everything he reads in newspapers - August von Schlozer |
lastpage: Well, henceforth, it is worthy to "pay attention" to VIP movement and avoid boarding a plane around their "tight" schedule!Gbam! |
Biscute: Basic with this your useless comments [ Basic(m): 12:37pmMyopic detective! Why not get me arrested? Your username suggests what you want from me. I'll send you a carton by courier. What's your address? |
black knight: there had been previous complaints about d landing gear and hydrualic leakages of d plane. If d plane had been hovering with d knowldge of possible crash (which i doubt), i think hovering over a residential area is not part of d training of d pilotThank you so much for your exposition. I really appreciate people like you, not pple like biscute. I just don't wanna insult him. |
bibina: You are a big fool and a common eediot! everything bad is from the govt abi? When a govt has offered no good, then it's justified if all bad is attributed to it. Now read the last lines of my post. I stated clearly that my words were just a reflexion of my own suspicious thoughts, and that they may not be true afterall. Do you need an interpreter in your native language before you understand this? As for your insults, I won't retaliate. I'm used to reading such insults thrown at pple on Nairaland. Now, it may have been my own turn. But once again, I won't retaliate. |
Even if that was the case, do you expect anyone to say that was true? Or can anyone explain why a plane should hover aimlessly in air for over an hour when the airport is just a few minutes distance away? I still suspect something... She could easily have postponed her flight till Monday when she heard that the airspace closure enforced in her favour had caused a crash. She may have postponed her trip to avoid suspicion. This is just a suspicious thought, it may not be true afterall. Let no one quote me! |
Beaf: The airspace wasn't shut down. Its just a very evil rumour started by Buhari and El-Rufai people to make political gain from the tragedy.Who are you to dispel such a rumour. Let Jonathan and his wife come out and dispel it themselves. If they both cannot, we'll hold that fact to be the truth. Or why should a plane hover aimlessly in the air for minutes when the airport is very close by? There are elements of truth in most rumours my brother! |
Hieght of stoopidity. UNIBEN students during IBB's rule initiated the "IBB MUST GO" riots, which was an eye opener to Babangida leading him to seriously consider conducting elections, which he did. These idioots are complaining about the loss of swagg and saying sh1t about brand name where it is obvious that there is nothing cool about your rubbish school. Where does UNILAG rank amongst African Universities? What research contribution has the world benefited from your glorified secondary school?
Why would you not call it such after you tried gaining admission into the school 8 times, but you were too dull to be admitted in there? |
80kobo: You could get a real domain name for it. .com isn't professional in my opinion Apart from that, great effort.Yes, I'm already planning to do that very soon. Thanks for the suggestion. |
Hi Nairalanders, I just created a blog/forum for discussing legitimate and realistic online money making avenues for Nigerians. Please help me assess the blog/forum at http://onlinecashnigeria..com/p/forum.html and let me have your constructive criticisms about how to make it better and more professional. I also use this medium to invite webmasters to share their online money making ideas with others. Thanks. |
Hi Nairalanders, I just stumbled upon some information on how to embed a forum on my newly-created blog. The forum will be an avenue for discussing legitimate and relaistic ways by which Nigerians can make money online. Please help me check out the blog and forum here and let me have your constructive criticisms on how I can make it better. The address is: http://onlinecashnigeria..com/p/forum.html I'll really appreciate your suggestions, as I'm not a professional web designer, but I'm always very ready to learn and take to corrections. Thanks. |
Hi NLers, If you want to make money online as an online freelance writer, read the thread with the same topic, which I just posted in the writing section. Thanks. |
Hi Nairalanders, For the purpose of enlightening fellow Nigerians who have, for long, nursed the desire to become well-established online freelance writers on how to go about it (that is, writing articles, ebooks, sales letters and other web content for clients from all over the world), I'm currently working on an ebook which contains all the needed information. The ebook is written solely for Nigerians, so, there are no unrealistic or useless tips therein. I have explained how you can retrieve your money via another better alternative to Paypal. In summary, the ebook contains systematic guides to setting up a freelance writing empire. I'm a freelance writer myself, and my own personal experience is what forms the bedrock of the ebook's contents. No referred gists! Note however, that freelance writing is not a get-rich-quick biz, but can make you very comfortable. As time goes on, the higher you earn. Currently, I earn between N30000 - N40000 per month. Interestingly, I started less than a year ago. I now have about 7 writers (5 Nigerians, 2 foreigners) who work for me (because my academics won't allow me to work full time).... Let me leave all the stories. The ebook should be out soon. If you're interested in a copy, please signify by sending me an email to: basicfreelance@gmail.com If you signify this way, I'll offer you a 25% discount when the ebook gets ready for purchase. In addition, I'll send you free resources which will help you improve your writing to world-class standards. Offer closes: June 15 2012. Note: if you do not grab this offer now, and you later show your interest in the ebook, you will pay in full. |

How many southern business owners can meet their requirements? Even the hausa business men who are mostly small time farmers selling their products, how many of them will borrow money from a bank on the basis of profit and loss sharing?
