There are several bars and restaurants in GRA; A karaoke bar -Kusano (sp?)near Woji street iirc, a Genesis movie theater on Tombia street.
Tourist beach somewhere in the old town(or Town as its usually called) used to be another spot for fun seekers till militants took it over. cheesy

If you like drinking maybe you'll enjoy the place, there seem to too many drinking spots around.

Something you have to always prepare for is the rain! It always rains there its amazing. Dunno how I survived it there.

Which angry mob? Any mob that ventures to enter the Villa gate would be gunned down ruthlessly. The arrogance of the NASS has no fears.

This is most likely a nollywood script. smiley

I also wonder why people make a big deal out of situations like this. I mean, like growing up and not knowing who one's true parents are or finding out later that the man you thought was your dad really isn't. undecided Stuff like that. Anyways I guess its because most Nigerians have a flair for the dramatic.

It is important we give kudos to those who deserve it. Given it is divine to give life than to take it away, but we know most single mothers today never wanted the child some tried all they could but the pregnancy refused to go away, while some abandoned their children only to go back for them when somebody else has weaned them, some even disowned the child only to go back when someone else has helped them cover their shame.
The ones that deserve to be praised are those innocent girls that were deceived and lied to by men and pregnated then abandoned, but as true children of God held on, through the rough times to carry the shame all through the nine months and nurture the children trusting God for just rewards. These are the real heroines of our time they deserve the applauds and not the prostitutewhose stock in trade is to get pregnant for every Tom, manliness and Harry and then produce bastards all over the place. They are disgrace not to be praised or applauded in any way.

To my credit, None, Cos i always wrap it up.

2 ppl went to steal one ran away and the other waited to be caught,

So she should credit the second one for waiting to be caught . Or tag him a hero thief who didnt run away
You said it homie, folks here are now twisting the whole situation to make the woman a hero. Thats warped logic if you ask me.

I OFFER TO SERVE

One thing Your Excellency may wish to bear in mind is that with the Governor and Deputy Governor going respectively to Orlu and Owerri zones, a Ministerial appointment coming to Imo should go to Okigwe zone, my home zone. In this regard, I offer myself for further service at that level if given the opportunity. Without any prejudice, I wish to remind Your Excellency that three areas I have demonstrated flair in the National Economic Council are:

(1)        Oil & Gas

(2)        Police Reforms

(3)        Urban Development and Renewal.

For example, with the benefits of my experience in recovering Owerri to make it the cleanest city in Nigeria, I could articulate an Urban Renewal Initiative to be known as The FCT Environserve Initiative to make Abuja the most organized and cleanest city in Africa.
They had better not give anything to this clown in Abuja, how come he didn't articulate such an initiative to make Owerri the cleanest city in Africa when he had the chance. BTW is Owerri really the cleanest city in Nigeria?

As I prepare to leave office, I do so completely satisfied that I was, in spite of promptings from sundry quarters to do otherwise, able to allow a level play ground throughout the period of the electioneering campaign and the election proper. Apart from that this was in keeping with Mr President’s personal commitment to the growth of true democratic culture, I am certain that I have laid a good foundation for the growth of orderly democratic practice in Imo state. For example, my people in Imo state now know that it is possible to conduct party primaries that are devoid of intervention by the sitting governor.
Yeah right. Tell that to the marines.

Either way I respect and admire these TRUE MOTHERS.
Lets not over do it, how are single moms true mothers?

I agree that single mothers need understanding and fair treatment from the rest of society but there really isn't anything heroic about their status.
Gaming › Re: Brink Is Terrible by Bawss1(m): 10:14am On May 11, 2011
Any video game with a rating that is less than an 8 is most likely a very bad game these days. Trailers don't give an honest feel for games just the best parts even though they can wet the appetite real good. I usually wait a while after release to find out what reviewers make of the games unless its a title I have played before. Its because I expect no less than COD quality when it comes to fsp that I stay away from many of the titles out there. cool Many of these developers are just trying to cash in like Activision without upping the bar.
