Now I can fully understand why Sagamite gets all worked up with some people's comments.

Whats with that stranger guy or whatever he calls himself? You have beef with Jakumo or what? angry Please spare us your bitterness and disappear.

Jakumo's comment was on point. Only a person blinded by spite will disagree.

Politics › Re: Desperate Ohakim Pays Surprise Visit To Araraume by Bawss1(m): 1:43pm On May 04, 2011
Remember the saying; by their fruits you shall know them.

If Ohakim is seeking reelection to complete his "MEGA" projects as you claim then the so called "MEGA" projects ought to secure him his second tenure. The likes of Amaechi, Fashola and co have been handed their second tenure because people saw their projects- live in the flesh and not exclusively on DSTV if I might add. cheesy They also had opposition too. Ohakim's so called projects are widely described as dubious and 'white -elephantesques' (yeah I just coined that word).
Politics › Re: OHAKIM Is Best For IMO Guber. Reason It Out Critically. Isn't Rochas A Fraud? by Bawss1(m): 1:28pm On May 04, 2011
Desperate times for Ohakim as he fears his tenure comes to an end.

How did Imo sink so low anyways? As someone already pointed out, if Ohakim is reelected then Imo State will not witness good governance for a very very very long time because he'll most likely handover to another suspicious character.
Politics › Re: The Fuel Queues Are Here. Is This The Fresh Air? by Bawss1(m): 1:13pm On May 04, 2011
Yeah this is really disheartening, there has been nasty traffic jams all over the city because of the fuel queues. I thought this issue of fuel scarcity was suppose to be history by now, and one of the gains of GEJ's presidency.

Mr Fresh Air had better fix this as soon as possible!

udoagwu:
I really don't know what is happening to young people these days,  I don't know who you are calling the devil, but i think nairaland is a forum where intelligent discussions take place, if you were clueless about what to comment on, it would have been better you remained silent. Zoning in the Nigerian context is meant to prevent marginalization and if it works for us i don't see anything wrong in it. If Araraume and Ohakim can put aside differences and come together, it means we are moving forward as a people, it means change is taking place .It should be something we celebrate not criticicize.
Hmmmm. Interesting argument but it raises questions that have not really been answered in this country. Should the zoning agreement (a PDP thing mostly) be held even when the current holder of office is under-performing? Some will say that he has had his four years and little to show for it so let him go.
Besides it is funny that this appears to be the main point for which Ohakim seeks reelection; not because he wants to continue and build upon a lasting legacy of meaningful development but just so that the zoning agreement be honored.

^ Again you join the ranks of posters who missed out the part where the OP says
"I must state most analysis is based on a mixture of (1) utterances by the governor that I have read, (2) general reports online and (3) the citizenry affection and respect the governors generate."

GenBuhari:
I have done the maths already.

This crook devalued Naira by 250% so that he can steal money from evey Nigerians pocket at a time of record high oil prices.

Sagamite, because you support this crook I cannot take any analysis from you seriously
Dude you are digging yourself into a hole with that statement. No worries you'll be reeducated soon enough. smiley

GenBuhari:
Evil PDP government thrives because good people do nothing (when elections are rigged) angry
I see, so 'good' people should take to the streets and unleash mayhem? No need to misconstrue the meaning behind that adage. If you feel the elections were thoroughly unfair channel your complaints and grievances to the courts.

The OP is doing something he feels is right, let no one discourage him just because they lost out in the elections.
