Bluffly: Can we really quantify what GEJ claimed he has done to what Buhari did then past. Jonathan has only regressed Nigeria locally. General Buhari (Retd) built all the Old refineries we have today Pipelines, fought corruption to almost a stand still, which was visible to all Nigerians despite some disgruntled elements.
Some are saying Buhari will use most of his time to prosecute. Well I think when there is a problem the cause needs to be tackled in order to solve the problem and not the other way out. If it entails jailing all the current thieficians then so be it. We need a stern hand at this moment so that when we grow up we will not depart from such ways.
A Known devil is better than an unknown Angel. Why do you need to lie to support Buhari? He did not build any refineries. A question though, will Buhari go after the people who are bank rolling his campaign? Many of them are said to be characters with dubious wealth. |

^ Oh really? I didn't know that. So it's going to be a totally different story with different actors but the show's name will remain the same. Hopefully the second season wouldn't be so annoying as the first. Anyway I think it's quite understandable to refer to a show with only one season as season 1 since more seasons would have been made if it wasn't discontinued. It should be different though for shows that are completed in only one set of series. |

Fourcade: These are my top 5 for the year
Fargo Season 1 Game of Thrones Season 4 The Walking Dead Season 5 The Americans Season 2 Ray Donovan Season 2 I don't think there will be a season 2 of Fargo. The whole story was completed in those 10 episodes so referring to it as season 1 seems wrong. |

The attempts to debunk this report by people here while laughable is completely ridiculous.
It's very hard for users of low quality mobiles to accept the fact that their beloved brands may have been shipping and selling products with malicious code in them. They don't realize the danger that all banking and sensitive transactions carried out on such devices may have been compromised but twist and turn and as they wish THEY are the ones who face the risk, THEY are the ones who stand to lose. |

Without properly understanding the report our vociferous Nlanders who have an opinion on just about everything are making the kinds of comments that brand them as stark dunderheads. Bayswater: It's actually good you've posted a link, so I'll let you do the math. The cheapest you can get a gallon of petrol in the usa is around 285/290 cents. The price of a gallon late October was around 315cents so we can say price of a gallon of petrol went down by 20cents per barrel. Here is the issue: we have almost 5litres in a gallon, so it is safe to say the price of a litre of petrol in the usa has actually gone down by 5 to 6 cents which is quite negligible. Will you now call that reduction when compared with the price of a barrel of crude oil that has reduced by almost $35/3500cents? Obviously you didn't bother to read the article in the link because if you did you wouldn't say that the price of petrol has dropped by 6 cents. Read it and try again. |

Bayswater: That's Fashola playing to the gallery again saying rubbish under the pretence of not being an economist. He has economic advisers, he could have sought their advise before displaying his hypocrisy. That a barrel of oil is now $65 does not mean the cost of producing it or bringing it to the pump will change. Pump price has not been reduced in the UK, usa and across Europe. His attempt at using a bushmeat seller's logic has failed woefully.
Even if we refine the crude oil here, the cost if producing a barrel of oil would still be more than $65 per barrel. Even the average cost of producing the shale which people consider cheaper, is above $70 per barrel. As long as we don't refine crude here, it would take months for us to see reduction in pump prices.
Our greedy oil marketers too will not allow us feel the positive impact even when they start getting oil at reduced prices, they would want to maximise their profit. Pump price has dropped in the US ( http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/05/business/oil-prices-continue-to-plummet.html?_r=0) what are you talking about? |
