I keep seeing blacklist popping up in comments here like its some kind of correct show. It ain't! I found it to be at best mildly interesting, there is nothing about it that makes it special.

I finished Black Sails and I'm not sure there is any reason for a second season. There is no good reason why captain Flint (is that his name??) is alive, they should have finished him off already.

Been hearing interesting things about Gotham but I'll wait till the season is over so I can binge watch, ain't nobody got time for watching one episode a week.

The OP must be a roadside blogger who will do anything to attract web traffic and that's very shameful. It shows that he will not stoop from lying and falsehood in order to make money. The thing with such people is that they never achieve lasting success with such behaviour.

You guys should also check out Bob's Burgers, it's a very funny show. I've seen season 1-3 of it.

Can't seem to find any show that's gripping any more. Been watching Black Sail and Copper. They are both mildly interesting, Copper more so than Black Sail. Also started and will soon finish Fargo but had on several occasions dropped it because of the ridiculousness of the story; I'm having a hard time believing it is actually a true story as they say. How can there be that many dumb people living in just one town? Dumb police, dumb children, dumb doctors, dumb FBI agents, dumb town! The show is making me loath Minnesota already just like The Wire made me dislike Baltimore - but in The Wire's case the story was entirely fictional.

So I started bumping Joell Ortiz's album, House Slippers, recently. There are several great tracks on the album:

I could understand the aversion people had for Win 8, it did somethings in novel ways and had an obvious learning curve but with 8.1 things became way familiar yet the Internet and its herd community kept calling for Microsoft's head without giving 8.1 a shot.

So far it looks like Win 10 still incorporates things like the charms bar, metro and live tiles - things many guys were crying about albeit heavily modified. These things have come to stay whether we like them or not. I'm all for a Windows that functions in a touch based world yet still retains desktop capabilities. That has been the philosophy since when win 8 appeared and they are sticking with that. Hopefully Win 10 will be all 8 set out to be.

I think if you sign up for their insider program you can start trying out Win 10.
The rest of the anti Win 8 team can push for a regression back to XP since they don't want to try out new things.

Can you in all honesty say that the S5 camera is way better? Will he also not find the 5.1" screen of the S5 even larger - he was already thinking that the 4.7" screen of the iPhone 6 is too big.

Anyway we all have our biases. I have always found the Galaxy series to be ugly especially the S4 and S5. I can also understand why some will call the iPhone 6 ugly as it follows the design lines of the early iPhones but to me its not that much of a deal.

I don't think the iPhone 6 which has a 4.7" screen can be described as too large. Sure it has a larger screen than its predecessor, but it can still be operated comfortably with one hand (and it will still fit into one's pocket easily). When phones pass the 5" mark that's where I think the problem starts. I say all this because I briefly handled a Nexus 5 which has 4.9" screen and even though on paper I thought its screen was too big in real life I found it to be just right.

pimpc007: You don't get it do you? The fact that there is even a slight update of Windows 8 (which is 8.1), then that means Microsoft noticed fundamental flaws which they rushed in to fix. There was never a Windows 7.1 and others before it, instead there were only the security fixes.

All these screenshots seem easy to you but if you were into software development you would appreciate the philosophy of simplicity of software better

Win 8.1 is an even much simpler system to use than Win 8, so unless people have insisted on not learning any new thing you have to wonder where all this noise is coming from.

I have VLC media player working on my Win 8.1 device just fine. If you can't find an app in the Store you can still install the .exe file as you would on Win 7. With Win 8 you can install legacy applications as well as the mobile versions(if its available in the Store) How is this a bad thing?

Any company that is in need of an upgrade and refuses Win8/8.1 because of it's novelty needs to take a hard look at its IT department.

Interesting piece there LordAdam, phone users are better served when they have a broad array of OSes to choose from, it shouldn't be just iOS and Android. That's what the dolts who come here and shout(with their cheap phones) their life long allegiance to Android don't realise.
