I was able to solve all my file transfer problems using i-FunBox. Its a much simpler tool to use than WinSCP, just download and install and your are in. It works with your iphone's usb cord, no need for IP addresses or wifi. A very simple yet effective tool. smiley smiley smiley

I ran into some hiccups while trying the windows method thats why I went for iFile. I have Winscp on my pc but when I try to login using the ip address on the iPhone the session times out. Dunno whether something is wrong with the wifi I connect to.
iFile seems more straight forward though, I can easily view the file contents on my phone with it. Uploading is also easy, what I don't get is how one can move files to different folders with iFile - I don't know where (if there are any) copy and paste features.
Phones › Re: iPhone Killer Apps 2 by Bawss1(m): 12:09am On Feb 25, 2012
Thanks a lot fir the tip. One question though, how do I use iFile to transfer the ipa file to installous? Please bear with this newbie smiley

OK now a new challenge for me. Say I have a cracked app or ipa file and I want to install it on the iphone how do I go about it? I'm thinking I'll just upload the file from my pc (using iFile by the way) into the Applications folder on the phone but how I'm I sure the files will be installed afterwards? In essence what I want to find out is how to launch IPA files on the iphone.
Politics › Re: Governor T. A. Orji Has Equipped The Transition Committee Council Chairmen by Bawss1(m): 3:45pm On Feb 24, 2012
I hope that with this report the infamous governor is not expecting the masses to applaud. It is only when genuine efforts directed to improving the lives of Abians are made that he will be taken seriously. Right now this inconsequential report will be filed in the 'who cares' cabinet till further notice.

See all these people complaining. cheesy This is the crazy situation we have to face here in Abuja, perhaps now my concern about that World Bank Desk that GEJ was planning to set up which will block funding for my mansion in Maitama will be properly appreciated.  grin

The sighting of condoms in this girl's bag (who, by the way, you have enchained yourself to because there are no other girls alive) is putting you in a state. Understand that the following words are said with your best interest in mind - Get over it! You will not achieve anything if you insist on mulling over the reason why a sexually mature woman carries some prophylactics with her. Consider for a moment; could the reason why this thread is being resurrected be that some deep seated insecurities are still alive?

Need some help here, I'm looking for a functional iphone browser. All the browsers I downloaded from softpedia aren't working, it doesn't even launch properly.
Politics › Re: Us Envoy Says No Soldiers To Nigeria by Bawss1(m): 9:49am On Feb 24, 2012
Off course this was to be expected. Calls for a US military intervention had only stemmed from fantasy; the current realities of international politics leaves no room for such a move. Our C-in-C and his security agencies must become more resourceful in order to deal with this BH menace squarely.

The man has passed on and this personality cult will do him no good. Let us not let our appreciation of his legacy morph into something macabre. Wish him well in the afterlife and leave it at that.

Don't mind Hilary. She is probably a miser. What is she going to with her estacode, abi the money no reach to buy clothes from the D&G 2012 Spring collection? I trust our Dame, she's got to represent to the fullest. Spend that $$$! cheesy

So the conference ends by 15:30 today and you expect Oga to hop on a plane immediately? How can those lovely sales at Harrods go to waste and why should the efforts of the exquisite garment makers at Bond Street be left unappreciated. Where is your sense of consideration? Haba cheesy

You don't get it yet? sad .I'm simply stating that Nokia(with its new crappy OS) is fast losing its grip on the phone-making market. Android/iOS is the way forward. I've used the Maemo and believe me, Android is by far superior to that shiiiit.

When was the last time you heard of a good Nokia phone. . .even the N-Series faded so fast after all the hype.
Windows Phone 7 is anything but crappy, it can hold its on just like iOS and Android. The challenge for Nokia is to make it more popular.
TV/Movies › Your Favorite News Reporters by Bawss1(op):
When they get in front of the camera they always succeed in commanding your attention even if it’s an unexciting piece of news being reported. Viewers are usually engaged in the dual task of assimilating the news and appreciating their allure and it’s no secret that news houses usually go for the most visually appealing reporters. smiley Who are your favorite TV Reporters and why do you like them?
TV/Movies › Re: What Was The Last Movie You Watched - Part 2 by Bawss1(m): 8:23pm On Feb 21, 2012
Well I guess he is entitled to his opinion. Please no one should take any offence, I was just thoroughly shocked. I said what I said to correct the misleading impression his comment was most likely to have on uninformed readers. He did mention cinematography, editing and dialogue as some of the movie's flaws, high sounding words but completely untrue.

Ogaga4Luv:
This movie seriously lacks of respectable dialogues, cinematography, and editing. It's not about the legendary Tobin Frost, but about the legendary Denzel. Don't waste your money. Don't sit up front; you'll be dizzy as hell grin grin . Finally, even though, Denzel and Ryan tried their best to save this movie, rent all 3 Jason Bourne movies, and I guaranty you will have a better night. wink
Like, huh?

Respectable dialogue ke and cinematography. How anyone can be complaining of the editing (whatever that means) beats me.Please stop trying to come off as a movie connoisseur.

I dunno what you guys look out for when you watch a movie, anybody reading your comments will be completely misled about Safe House; in ALL the movie sites I have seen Safe House gets above than average ratings. Its a great action movie with continuous intrigue. And fans of the action movie genre will easily enjoy it.

GEJ has an uphill task in front of him, he lost a great deal of support after the fuel subsidy debacle of last month and the country's security issues have gotten worse. Expectations are still high but if he thinks he will have a successful presidency with excuses then he is dead wrong.
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy Palliatives Not Possible Again – Jonathan by Bawss1(m): 9:36am On Feb 21, 2012
Demdem thanks for recalling the specific promises that GEJ made before last year's elections, now let the sincere and honest GEJ keep his word.

Politics › Re: Presidency Orders Chevron To Provide Electricity To Delta Oil Communities by Bawss1(m): 2:58pm On Feb 20, 2012
lovejo:
Everyone has right to his opinion, what government required from them is not much compare to what they rae gaining in the communities, this is not a city but a community, there is environmental damage by Chevron due to poor government we have in the country, If Chevron can provide basic electricity and water to her hos community I don't think that is much.
Why can't u ask why america did not extract their own oil and dig in Nigeria, all big companies are responsible for the effect of their activities to their communities, it will be better to generate electricity to the community than to be paying royalties to few chief in the community.
If so then let the IOC stop paying taxes and royalties all together and instead embark on community service projects. It is amazing that you fail to see that the govt is abdicating its responsibilities and yet is ever ready to collect taxes.
Politics › Re: Presidency Orders Chevron To Provide Electricity To Delta Oil Communities by Bawss1(m): 2:32pm On Feb 20, 2012
Since the presidency is in the business of giving orders now, why don't they order Boko Haram to stop it's campaign of terror?

Anyways Chevron isn't bound by any such order, I'm the sure license to drill for oil didn't include providing electricity free of charge and as such that order can be challenged in court.
Politics › Re: What's Was All The Hype About A South-south President by Bawss1(m): 2:25pm On Feb 20, 2012
Was it not reported sometime ago that a former militant is now some type of special adviser.( I forget the militant's name or the position he now occupies) To people like that this is what they have been praying for. Yet facts available show that since GEJ became president nothing especially good has happened in the Niger Delta in terms of development. Off course the govt is quick to voice its commitment in developing the region but slow to show proof of that commitment even with GEJ at the top.

For the most part one questions the sincerity of the ND agitators who were calling for a south south president, they have become surprisingly silent since GEJ's rule began yet the regions hasn't changed.

Politics › Re: Do You Have Personal Stories Of How The Nigerian Police Ever Helped You Out? by Bawss1(m): 12:26pm On Feb 20, 2012
Yes, a police officer helped me secure my release after I was wrongly arrested by his colleagues in the computer village at Ikeja. For no good reason I was whisked into a waiting bus and taken to a nearby police station. It was there that I called a friend who later called this particular officer who then ordered the arresting officers to let me go. Till this day I have wondered what my offence was as I was only at the computer village to make some purchases, I wasn't even carrying a laptop. Maybe my clothes were too neat. Weird police men.
