I actually read and read but not everything. I just never saw it until recently. i bumped into someone saying something like it few days ago but it was too late by then. May God answer our heart's desires, i appreciate you all. Thanks again.

On the contrary, I knew this information because I read up. I didn't think I needed it too as I've never lived in the US then I read It's cumulative and so I asked the necessary info right here on this thread.
It's very important to read up.
Information is power!
That quote wasn't for you darling .. anyone could have made that mistake. I may have too.
It was for the other person encouraging people not to read.
The most important thing now is to get back onto the wagon and don't beat yourself up about it.
We all make mistakes.
Hope you're back in the pool? As I smell a draw today.
All the best and keep us posted.

Sorry about that Yokus. It's a temporary setback. That's why I don't like referring people to read up because someone might read and miss important info. I keep learning everyday.

New draws this Wednesday, fingers crossed.

I never lived in the US, I dont know where they got that from.
Thank @Wura27 and @lamlye
Oh dear! So sorry to hear this. I've never lived in the US myself but I got an FBI PCC done ( still waiting on the report though). When I calculated all the times I've been to the US for holidays., childbirth etc it was more than 6 months so I had to do it. I submitted on the 9th of May and they've only begun to open May packages in July. It takes a while. So get on it right now.
You may need to get all your docs all over because of dates. Good luck!

Im not so sure theres any need to hurry. Her ITA is fresh so she still has well over two months. I say this bcz i did a CSE over 20 busineas days ago but am yet to receive an acknowledgment from CIC and the uncertainty is killing. With d mind playing ping pong. Im asking myself Will it be seen on time before BG?

@baby84 wait out the two weeks. U may be anxious now, but trust me u are better off submitting every document at once.
I'm with you.

Mba sis I will wait o! It's just 2 weeks or 3 weeks. I'm too meticulous for that method.

Good morning house

Please i have my first degree Bsc. In Business Management. And my second degree MBA is same business Management. Both from the University of Sunderland in the UK. Please where should i evaluate my Certificates that would give me more points? WES OR IQAS?

Please need urgent response
Thanks.
I think you should use WES as you already have a masters that's the second highest. The highest is a PHD so I'll advise WES plus WES is pretty fast with UK degrees.

Sequel to my ordeal with WES payment, in which my payment was marked as fraud, I finally got back on track.

I had to contact a friend in Manitoba to help purchase a Money Order. However, I have been in a state of apprehension since last week that the money order has been sent, it didn't get acknowledged up till some minutes ago. Remember they threatened to contact CIC if I didn't meet the 2-week deadline.

Most unbelievably, a DM to their twitter handle did the magic within minutes.
Anybody got any issues with WESCanada, feel free to DM them @WESCanada
I hope you put your friend straight though... that was a very risky thing he did with your application.
Very bad!

It's not that hard, I understand your concern as a mum, but trust me the child would not even think it.
There are too many new things to learn, in a few weeks, he would forget which class he was formerly.
Your child would even tell you he loves his new class, don't even think about it, some children who have started regular primary classes in Nigeria, get to Canada, and have to go to pre-kindergaten, or even stay at home.
It is what it is jare, when you settle in, it would be the least of what you would even remember.
You're right. Most of the time it's more about us the parents than the children themselves. I personally let my son stay back due to his age( born in October) so while his mates born in the same year are in Year 2 he's in Year 1 but looking at the list again he will stay back again another class. I'm Perfectly fine with that as he will relearn and reknow things he already knows and grow in maturity. At least I know he'll graduate in the 4 years of Uni( unlike in Naija where people spent 5,6,7 years thanks to strike here and there).
Like I tell my friends where are we rushing to?

Please on this US born children matter. Can one use their Nigeria passport? As the main travel Doc? And just report the US citizenship under the citizenship(s) coulmn?
I intend using that for my US born. I hope it's okay
That's what I intend to do as well.

You can as well double-check this on the FBI website. FBI only receives and dispatch thru regular mail.
Well I sent mine via DHL and it was received and signed for. I wanted to know if you had a personal experience or if it was hear-say.

I think I got my answer.
Thanks.

So you sent your FBI PCC forms through DHL/ UPS and it was rejected? I'm very curious. Please forgive my 21 questions.

The non-submission of your wife's FBI PCC is enough reason for an express rejection by IRCC,the only way to avoid this and save your application fee is to go to alagbon close in ikoyi with a downloaded and printed fingerprint form from the FBI website.. Your wife's fingerprint will be printed on (the downloaded and printed FBI fingerprint) form(s),ensure you print more than one in the event of error or mistakes as well as the payment/card details form(still on FBI site). With that done, you can mail the forms to your American contact through DHL or UPS to save time, as FBI only receives regular mail. Your American contact will in-turn send the forms;FBI downloaded and fingerprinted form(s) and the payment details form(s) to FBI main office. Your wife will need to use a U.S contact address to save time as sending a regular mail to and fro the USA takes like three to for months, which she doesn't have the luxury.
I wonder where you got the bolded information from sir/ ma? Is it from experience?
Thanks. I guess we assumed the copy of PR card is needed. Its all good. Our faith is in God.. Some people who reviewed and uploaded all thier documents still got rejected. In all, I would say, do your part and let God have his way.

This whole CIC process can give one sleepless nights if you allow it, the best is to trust God and do ur best. I would come back here to share my PPR testimony cheesy

I guess we are all different.. it's something I'll do if I needed to and I trust the person. I have friends who I have their credit cards, bank cards PayPal etc and vice versa. It's God all the way

pls people i need advise.

So my husband has a step sibling in Canada, we didnt get points for it though when we got our ITA.
After claiming relative in Canada and step sibling agreed to send us docs to prove relationship.

Time to upload doc, step sibling changed his mind about sending us docs. That they are sensitive and he can't just send them to us anymore :O

Please what do we do? How do we address this issue? We have a few days left to submission.
I am the PA

Thanks for your urgent response
Hi..
I'm just thinking in your 100 points do you already have 67 points without adaptability which is just 5 points.
He doesn't have to send PR card or passport page(though it will help know his status in the country).
You can get a utility bill phone, electricity, water. You can also collage some pictures perhaps childhood pictures. If all fails just write an LOE but do not edit it out of your profile.
Goodluck.

Called this number on Friday and they kept me on for minutes without end. Part of what the voice prompts also said was that the Customer care agents would not be able to answer post ECA enquiries. That's where my questions are based actually. My ECA has been concluded after 3months with few errors due to my institution's lackadaisical aptitude to works (they mis spelt my name on my academic transcript and WES included a not on my ECA referring to it) All I wanted to ask WES was that, if a new transcript is sent with my name spelt correctly, will be sufficient for them.
The number you quoted is for CIC not WES. Obviously CIC won't be able to answer ECA questions, you would have to call WES directly for that.

Hello guys. Please am new on this thread. I have 2 questions.
1. Can I use a Nigerian police certificate that I got while still in Nigeria to apply for or?
2. As a dependant, must my hubby upload my wes even though we didnt get points for it?
Thanks .
Did you do WES? If yes submit it, if no just upload your degree certificates.

*modified* when did you get this certificate? If it's over 3 months please do another one and I believe you don't have to physically be in Nigeria to do that. @yettyopy

Hi all,

Please I have few questions I'd like the professionals to help me with. I and my husband wants to try the Canadian skilled immigration program.
I am 24 while he is 34, I have worked for 6months after graduation as an audit intern then later as a finance intern during the compulsory NYSC one year program. The NGO where I served retained me after service as a finance assistant with six months renewable contract.
My hubby graduated in 2008, worked for 2years as a facility maintenance officer in a factory, resigned later and opened an interior design and decoration company.
He later joined a foreign embassy as a logistics/property management supervisor, he will be 5years in the embassy this November.
He read architecture while I read Acconting.
We would like to start the process but don't know how.

Thanks .
Hi... Please start reading from page 0 of this thread.

Please how true is this? A friend said the principal applicant must stay with the dependents in Canada for 4years as PR for the dependents (accompanying family members i.e spouse and children) to be eligible to apply for citizenship. In other words, if the primary applicant does not stay in Canada for up to 4 years as PR, his spouse and children will not qualify to apply for citizenship on their own. Please gurus shuk mouth.
False news....

For one to maintain Canadian PR status and renew, one must live in Canada for a cummulative of 2 years out of the five year period its valid.

Plenty good news on the thread. Congratulations.
I have a bit of sad news. So my Canada application is put on hold at the moment due to family issues beyond my control. That's the much I can share. So I won't be submitting my PPR profile.

Don't know when I will resume or resubmit my profile. I will also take a break from answering questions. Am sure there are sufficient people to answer.

I really wish everyone a successful application.
Hmmmm I don't like this at all sis! I don't think anything or anyone should make us do away with something that clearly gives us joy or makes us happy...
I'm running a lot scenarios in my head about what the issue beyond your control maybe but I'm coming short of viable ideas....
Please think about it properly and evaluate. Once you receive COpr you can land to receive PR card and comeback then you can further treat your PR card like a greencard and go once every 6 months. This is an opportunity and sometimes it may never be presented to us again.
I wish you well in whatever you decide.

Yeah, it led to the "pent-up demand".

You can also observe that review of medicals has been faster since the lull as seen from May AORs. Ontario will laugh all the way to the bank for now as more candidates with 400+ who were previously sitting on the fence opt for them. Talk of "a bird in the hand"...
