Thank you guys for showing your concerns and for the words of advice.

However, as the payment options have been limited to either cheque or money order, how do I cross this hurdle?

I am about to reply to the mail, explaining my side of the story but I need to work on the payment deadline.

I think you should send them an email stating that it was a grave mistake and you'd like to pay by card in your name. Tomorrow go to GTB and open a Dom account and sort them out. If they don't accept card in your name, ask if you can wire the money to them (cost more because of charges). But let's hope they accept a card in your name.

Good luck

I think I have entered once chance.

I asked a friend of mine to help pay for the WES fee online. I asked him to do it for me because I was aware he had applied to several schools in canny without issues. He did tell me that he has someone in US that helps him to do it.

After paying him #70,000 to pay WES fee of CAD 234 (Higher than parallel market rate) . This is what I got this evening.

Guys what do you advise.
Ah! You've really entered one chance o! He probably used a stolen credit card to do it. Shey you'd have asked Elfman to help you or a more trusted and reliable person. Please call your friend and tell him of the situation and get your money back. Please be calm and don't threaten him so it doesn't become another matter.
Fraud is a big deal in these countries and you don't want your name blacklisted.

If you have 600 points from PNP, your birthday coming up doesn't affect your chances of getting an ITA. So why is time not on your side?
I'm not understanding why it's a big deal if he wants to do his medicals pre or post ITA, it's a matter of choice. He's sure to get an ITA at the next draw so he's preparing to do an upfront medical...

Maybe I don't get what you're on about but he's still on the right path as far as I'm concerned. It's his choice.

Hello people, please I need your advice. I work with an asset management firm and most of my POF is invested in treasury bills and mutual funds with the firm. Which means my reference letter and evidence of my funds will be on the same letter head. I just wondering if this won't look like a collusion. Do I liquidate the funds and move to my bank account? Kindly help.
I think you should be fine.

An older friend of mine seeks an advise from me which I am pushing to the gurus and @alt3r3g0 on this forum.

He is 58 years old and an entrepreneur. He is interested in emigrating to Canada with his family of 4 children and ready to buy an average apartment and inject $59,000 into Canada economy by establishing a venture therein which his family will be oversees. He will in a short while returns to Nigeria to carry on with his business. Meanwhile he will be visiting his family in Canada periodically.

Please opinion and advise will be appreciated.
He will need more than $59k, nothing less than 200,000 CAD- 500,000 CAD as i would advice he goes through the investment route depending on the province he chooses. Most likely he will need a lawyer for this route.

Goodluck

I think the UCI numbers were updated for everyone after the change? We decline ITA and even the profile has expired but we were given UCI numbers.
UCI number? Are you sure you're not mistaking it for Application number?

wow! What do you guys advise? I thought I should do this after my IELTS test planned for September, so that latest November, it would be ready and still be timely. But based on this new trend, do I start now? And whats the easiet way? If I go to Alagbon for this now, won't I have to pay for their service, and then pay again when I want to do my UK PCC and my najia PCC..thats 3 payments...arrrgh.. pls help me out here.
From this current timeline, you can work towards doing it next month.
You don't need fingerprints for UK PCC

Goodluck!

Well, i applied and got nominated in 17 days. Wait for next draw and if crs does not come down, u can take the risk. High chance of nomination if your docs are on point.
17 days !! That's very fast! I'd say that's 1500CAD well spent.
Congratulations!

Good morning fam

Pls can someone advice me if it's possible someone in Canada help me mail my documents to IQAS. The arrangement is to scan and send it to that person then he will print and mail it to IQAS in Ottawa on my behalf just to cut the courier cost.

Thank you in anticipation.
That's exactly what I did but with WES. Evaluation completed with no problems.
Ride on.

No.

Spousal work experience doesn't add any points so you can put "nil" in your EE profile pre-ITA and move his work experience to "personal history" section in your e-APR post-ITA without having to provide employer's reference.

NB: Information that you supply in your EE profile will be automatically populated in your e-APR upon acceptance of ITA. So you can always put the work experience under "personal history" section without the fear of misrepresentation.

Hello everyone,

I'm filling the EE form to dive into the pool and there's the work history column.
I've just filled my husband's work experience from 7 years till now.( full time)
He worked in a data company but that was a job he did while he was a student ( should I put that?)
I'll have to put it as part time as he was a student.

I guess my question is should I fill it?
