kissoflife: I haven't done so but won't that increase my POF? The 12500 you put seems okay since the required amount is 12300 anyway. How many hours did you put as your full time employment? And I hope it's not less than a year. Also check your qualification that you're choosing the right amount of years for your OND and HND. I any think of any other reason your profile should be ineligible. Are you also making sure you're choosing an eligible NOC. |

kissoflife: Help me guys!!!!
I just registered for express entry and the system tells me I did not meet the requirements which i am sure I did.
Age = 12 Education=22 Work experience=9 (I decided to use one year experience due to ease of getting reference letter) Test of English = 24
total Score = 67/100
What could be the problem? i even opened another profile to change it to 2 yrs experience which will take points to 69/100 still the same Profile Ineligible problem[
ND Electrical Engineering evaluated as two years diploma
HND Electrical Engineering evaluated as three years diploma and one year post graduate certificate.
Now I am confused, how do I select two or more certificates as that option is not available on the EE system?
why is my profile saying ineligible after all requirements met? Have you increased your funds a bit? Perhaps 12800 |

MRSDA: Hello house, hope everyone is good. Does anyone understand the issue of medical inadmissibility. Someone i know has been denied because of this. Seems Canada is not tolerant to migrant families with children that have learning or special needs. I've just recently stumbled upon this medical ish. They give them a fairness letter first and they have to prove they won't be a burden on the Canadian government and then their file is reviewed based on what they've submitted and a decision is made. All the same its very heartbreaking as the whole point of this journey is to give one's family a better life. Are they already at the decision stage or fair hearing stage? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/admiss/excessive.asp |

Hamiltondreamer: It was the aunt/uncle part however it just gives the 67/100 threshold. it doesn't give points for EE, it's only the brother and sister You're very correct. However you'll still need to be sure you'll get proof of residency and relationship to get the extra 5 points otherwise you'll fall below the 67 benchmark. I think you should just concentrate on upping your IELTS scores at this point in time. Good luck. |

Hamiltondreamer: So I have just refilled my form and included two things : primary school details and relative (aunt/uncle) and my profile became eligible. I don't know which of these made it ok(cos I know aunt and uncle don't give points) Just thought to report back to the thread Primary school details? Is there even a place for this? Your maternal or paternal aunt or uncle will give you 15 points extra but be sure they'll provide you with proof as you're claiming points for it. I'm really surprised at the primary school details I must say. |

Wow! Na wa o. This why I didn't bother with my own degree. Naija we hail! |

Cheriesparkle: Hello house good evening. 7 Please i have some questions bothering that i require answers to. I am in Nigeria at the moment and i graduated from the University of Sunderland in the UK.
I am in the process of my WES verification. When WES requests for verification from my institution, would it be hardcopy? I would prefer if the copies sent are through fax or email. Does my Uni need to also send my transcript through fax is it acceptable? I have always thought that only hard copies are accepted. And the form i need to fill and send to my Uni to fill, that they need to also fill and attach my transcript to WES, is there an alternative means to sending by fax instead of the hardcopy as well?
Thanks in anticipation to your response Go on your school website and order your transcripts. Then when you're filling the address where they should send it to put your REF then WES address. They will charge you for it though. One school charged £5 while the other charged £12. For the WES form, London Met asked for it so I filled it and emailed it to them while University of London sent the transcripts without the form and it was accepted. For the certificate with you. I scanned and sent to my nephew in Canada to post for me but a lot of people have successfully faxed theirs here. Goodluck |

I feel the same way too but I guess they'll have to experience the Canadian snow at some point sha. |

pls I got ADR which I've responded to and status says "additional docs have been uploaded" but I checked later and saw "Your action is required"....I even got a mail to this effect but there's no 'request letter' on my profile, neither is there any new placeholder under 'submitted application'. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I just take it as a system glitch or I need to do something abt it? Thanks What's the additional request about? Care to share. |

bigfido: For the dude that passed the ielts that is complaining bitterly, please be thankful to God.
I have written ielts 7 times. My journey started since 2015. My Wes has been ready since then, but because of age and ielts, I have been falling short. I wrote ielts and got moderate score. I didn't know what was required then, since then, it has been a battle for me. My last 3 scores were 8,7.5,7,6... 7.5,7.5,7.5,7... 7.5,8,7,7..after the 6th one in June, I swore I was done with this dream. I had sunk so much money into this. I have gone to dubai to write celpip, went to dubai again for new brunswick info session, spent money 2ice on SINP and all to no avail. I was frustrated and devastated. July, I told my spouse to let me try ielts one more time. Even thou she didn't want to see me hurt again, she let me have my way. As for her she was done. She wanted the dream closed and buried. I don't blame her. So I paid and decided to change venue, this time I went to Ibadan, meaning I was spending more again. Then something changed. I prayed a lot about it. For catholics amongst us, please pray the prayers for exams to St Joseph of Cupertino. I went into the hall, did my best and left. I couldn't even beat my chest about my performance. I have been humbled by Ielts. But I kept on praying. I am not going to fail the 7th time. In between that time, a stranger in Lere2017 on this platform came into my life. She needed something from me. I actually wasn't in the mood to talk to her (reply her pm) but I did. We got talking and I told her my story. She was touched and she also truly prayed for me seriously. She will send me messages almost everyday telling me how much I was in her prayers and letting me know all is well. Yesterday midnight was the most awkward time of my life.. From 12 am till 7 am this morning, I was refreshing ielts website to check my result. The fear and panic was too intense. When I didn't see anything, I decided to go to their office to pick up my result.. That drive was filled with swallowing stone like saliva. On the bridge, I decided to refresh it again.. My result was there. My soul left my body and my eyes became blurry. I didn't know what I was reading but I knew I was reading.. L-9, R-8,S-8,W-7
I felt water swell up in my eyes. I understood what it is to look for something within your grasp and yet not have it. I am still basking in this euphoria so I can't real explain my ordeals. So please if you have it on a platter of gold, don't come here to rub it in on people that are going through a lot of even have a slice of what you have. For me the journey starts soon. I now have 450 points. I pray we all get to the promise land. Thank you @lere2017 I appreciate you. That's the beauty of this thread. Goodluck to everyone. I apologise for the long post and misspellings Happy for you brother! All smooth from here on. |

The most important thing is they write your REF number on it and send it the way WES specifys. Sealed with the school stamp and signature. |

nkigirl: Even if there are stamps on his passport, are you required to scan every single page of your passport. All 32/64 pages?
Please this is really important. We are not trying to be fraudulent. But if we can omit this info, it's better. Are you seriously asking me this question? You are being fraudulent and you keep saying you're not. I might not understand fully the requirements to obtain pcc for that country but I've found out CIC takes time to point you in the right direction. However if you decide to omit this info and your background check reveals the information you have concealed just say goodbye to Canada for a while. If I were you, I would be asking people who have done how they did it. Just do the right thing. |

On PCC, will it be required from principal sponsor and dependant (wife) ? Both. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by bbaby84(f): 10:04am On Aug 10, 2017 |
nkigirl: Let me ask. Can you afford not to submit PCC? If you went to some middle east, African or Asian country for work for your company for 6 months and you are unable to get PCC no matter how you try. can't you just omit that from your travel history and not show PCC? Your company will definitely give you reference letter covering that you worked with them for so so years so no one would know if you were in
I am the PA. My husband is my dependent and worked for a company that sent him for a year as a commuter in Congo. He is no longer with the company BTW but he has tried to get PCC but no way and he doesn't want to get a visa to got to that country and start hustling for PCC. He can't even speak the language. Anway, his company gave a ref letter to cover all his time as an employee but we want to totally omit the travel history to Congo. No scans, no nada. We will just say he was in Nigeria working
Is this possible?
Have you checked on the CIC website on how to obtain pcc for this country? Are there no stamps on his passport showing his exit and entry? PCC is one of the major reasons applications are refused/ rejected so think long and hard about it. I would try and get the PCC if I were you.

maternal: 1. cost of living is cheap and respectable. Its a government town, so if the cost of living was as high as Toronto for example, people wouldn't be able to survive.
2. Housing is cheap here. Mine was 260k, though I put 30k of renovations in it. My guy just bought a house with 4 bedrooms and a 2 car garage for 380k.
3. Daycare and schooling is the same as anywhere in the country I believe. Other than Quebec, daycare cost if not subsidized will kill you. Other school is free as it comes from our taxes, except post secondary of course.
4. Here's the catch. Ottawa is a government town so most people are employed by the government. At times it can be hard to get a government, especially if you can't speak English and french. There are some private companies as well, but not as much as government jobs. If you can secure a good paying government job you'll love Ottawa and you won't be going anywhere. That's the key, like in most cities. A decent paying government job, mixed with the low cost of living and you're laughing.
my 2 cents. Thank you for this. A house in Oakville ontario is easily 1.8m and you could get the same type of house in Ottawa for like 600k. Wow! |

For every place holder there's a tiny button on the side that guides you on what to upload please adhere to that strictly. If I remember correctly it tells you to upload your degree certs and credentials. Please upload your degrees certificates, if you don't have that upload statement of result, transcripts whatever you have then add your IELTS and WES evaluation . People have been rejected for not adding their degrees certs and just putting WES alone. More is always better in this journey. |
