SportsRe: Oscar Pistorius Found Not Guilty Of Murder by bee444: 9:42am On Sep 12, 2014
He could walk free without a jail term.. no minimum sentence for culpable homicide. Judge is on weed.
Foreign AffairsRe: Oscar Pistorius: The Final Countdown by bee444: 12:36am On Sep 11, 2014
Neinah: He's not guilty. The South African government is guilty for allowing civilians to own guns. Aside that, Pistorious should be cut some slacks, the poor guy has no legs, its only natural for him to react when he feels his life is under threat. Its a pity Reeva had to die tho, she was a victim of circumstance.
His life was never in any threat. Oscar is a thrill seeker and his disability has nothing to do with meting out the right judgement. Imagine shooting through your toilet door 5 times without hearing a single voice of the proclaimed "intruder" hiding in your toilet. Common sense would have you look and check your partner if she's ok before proceeding to the toilet to shoot any body.

Yelling out before shooting would automatically make you identify who's behind the toilet door. And not knowing your girlfriend was not on the bed with you is preposterously criminal and humanly impossible. Disabled people are quick to anger and would harm you at the slightest provocation.
FamilyRe: Is It Possible To Raise A Child Without Beating by bee444: 8:23am On Sep 07, 2014
I've spent 3 solid decades in this world and still counting. I was a product of beating! My dad (of living memory) would beat the hell of out me for no reason. Beating was my nickname, not that I was naughty or wayward of some sort. Not eating a particular kind of food in the house would lead to severe beating; playing with friends nko, na beating; having disagreement with my siblings, beating; mistakenly breaking or misplacing anything, beating; sleeping in the afternoon, beating, waking up late, beating and so on and so forth.

The beating so affected me as a grown up until I sort deliverance. I lost my dad 11 years ago, and just got delivered from his abuse and beating 2 years ago. He would visit me in the dream and beat the hell of out me. He did that for solid 7 to 8 years until I fasted and prayed for deliverance. I was affected emotionally, psychologically and even spiritually. And once in a while, My dad would want to visit and beat me again, Jesus always stood for me and will continue to stand for me.

I therefore seek the indulgence of parents.. pls only spank your children and do not beat them! There's a difference between spanking and beating..pls look it up!

FamilyRe: Why Are Some Marriages So Boring? by bee444: 10:22am On Jul 12, 2014
I've known my wife for 9 years now, and she still behave as if we just met. You could see the genuineness in the love we have for each other. We always have one activity or another to do each day.

My wife and I complement each other and always looking forward to seeing each other after work. We go out a lot and have targets to meet. We have vision and dreams as to the future of our kids and always planning and doing something positive to actualize those dreams.

To God be the glory..its Christmas everyday in our house..Whilst we still maintain a chaste life full of gratitude to God. FYI... We not rich ( but rich by faith) but still enjoy the little that we have.

NOTE: It all boils down to vision and love. Communication is also vital. Spicing up marriage is also key. Marriage couple need to go out and see exciting places... go to cinema, celebrate anniversary, attend shows, appreciate each other by small present, allow God in your union, play with each other around the house, travel if you can afford it... and last but not the list.. LIMIT OR DON'T ALLOW OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE IN YOUR MARRIAGE. 3 IS A CROWD INCLUDING IN-LAWS.

NOTE.. Marriage is difficult, and sometimes, even most times it takes God not to lose it completely. There's no perfect marriage anywhere.. but we got to work with what we have.

Thank you
SportsRe: Most Hilarious Comments Made By The Commentator Of Brazil 1- Germany 7 Match by bee444: 4:22pm On Jul 09, 2014
hardbody: I know not where you are coming from nor where you are headed, however, the sentence, Germany has a team is correct. Germany is taken here as a single entity. THe only way to use 'have' is to say (or write) The Germans have a good team.

Now i know nothing about the 3rd person or 10th person usage. I will surely tell you when i hear or read correct English tense.
Correcting you guys is never going to be easy.. but I'll try my best to make it simple.

"Has" is a non-continuous verb or a mixed verb. You use it once and for the immediate (present). The original poster choice of words indicates continuity (future) on that part of the Germans.

"Germany has a team" means Germany beat Brazil because of the players that were selected for that particular match. No continuity.

"Germany have a team" means Germany did not win by fluke. .. they've beaten other nations before the Brazilian match and would go further and beat others too. There is a continuity with the use of the verb "have".

You should get it this time.

And yes, a group is classed as an entity.
SportsRe: Most Hilarious Comments Made By The Commentator Of Brazil 1- Germany 7 Match by bee444: 3:26pm On Jul 09, 2014
BananaBender: The highlighted should be, "Germany has a team".
Prinspal or 2 teacher Waec. . Whatever you call yourself, the guy was right to have used "have" instead of "has".

"have" is a 1st person present singular verb.. While "has" is a 3rd person verb. Both are present tense but one is for now and the future (have) and the other is also for now but not necessarily the future.

When referring to a group of people in the 1st person verb, you use "have".. eg Germany have a team. "Has" is used when referring to a singular person but in the 3Rd person verb eg " she has a fear of spiders"

So in a nutshell, "has" is a 3rd person singular indicative of "have".

I know it's a little bit confusing, I believe with practice you'll get there.

Thank you.

Pastor Fireman has about 4 red exotic cars. Asked why his cars were painted red, he said his mother used to buy red clothes for him when he was young. His lounge and the rest stuff in his house were also painted red.

Been suspecting this guy for a long time. Wont be surprised if the rest of the so called big pastors are involve in ritual too.
FamilyRe: Divorce And The Suffering Of The Nigerian Women! by bee444: 3:35pm On Jan 07, 2014
pickabeau1: whats the significance of the initiating party...

What if she initiated the divorce due to spousal abuse or infidelity
THERE ARE ALWAYS TWO PARTIES TO EVERYTHING. Regardless of the reason for divorce, both parties must consent. A judge in almost all the abuse cases waive the consenting part and allow the divorce to go ahead. When this happens, the woman would still pay or compensate the husband if the husband counter-sue for malicious divorce or for what he is accustomed to i.e pu.ssie and the food.

fresh_dude: Don't mind silly Paris10, when I say Nigerian adult females are adequately protected by the law she no fit understand am. The problem is they are usually too stewpid to fight for their rights. All the UK they refer to records a high number of court cases of women wanting more from their husbands than they're willing to give and usually get as much or more than what they demand. But fools like Paris will have us believe otherwise, afterall DSTV channels 151-158 is what they live by and they think that's where the world ends. Paris10, is a clown and needs to have her brain reset.
Go and tell that to a Nigerian judge...you want to fight for right abi... your case will be thrown out like a javelin.
FamilyRe: Divorce And The Suffering Of The Nigerian Women! by bee444: 3:15pm On Jan 05, 2014
Women will continue to suffer abuse in the hands of Nigerian men since the men knows they would lose nothing if the woman decides to leave or divorce them.
FamilyRe: Divorce And The Suffering Of The Nigerian Women! by bee444: 11:50pm On Jan 04, 2014
Only women who go through divorce with no fault of their own should be compensated dearly by their husbands. Men who throw their wives out just to marry another woman should be ashamed of themselves and should be held accountable for irresponsibility.

GustavoFring: Well, England IS a predominantly white country so it comes as no surprise that there are more white people where I work.

However, there are loads of blacks as well.

Britain is a country where you get as much out as you are willing to put in.

Highly educated black people will rise easily.

I happen to know a guy I went to Uni with in Nigeria who is currently earning around 700 pounds a day working as a Network Infrastructure Architect based on his CCIE cert and some work experience.

I know many Nigerians earning around 35-45k pounds annually.

Even today, when the post study work visa has been abolished, the smartest international students are still being recruited and sponsored right from the classroom

On the flipside, I know another guy from my masters course who is currently working as a security guard in primark...

In England, your only limit is you, forget your skin. You get out what you put in.

Real Talk.
You guys don't get it, do you? Nigerians need oneness..just like the Asians. The few Nigerians making it abroad should try and help their fellow countrymen to make it just like the Indians, Pakis and the rest. I see how boastful some of you are. The uncle toms of slavery are returning and praising the country that is humiliating and debacle its fellow Nigerians.

Just because some of you are doing well does not eliminate the racism in the UK. I don't want to hear Mr A is making it or Mr B is doing well, what happened to the majority of those who aren't as lucky as you lot? Just thank God for yourself and pray for the rest. Speak for yourself and let others who have been through hell and seen racism at first hand continue to pour out their hearts to God and those beside them.

lafflaff123: Ignorance they say is BLISS.

Will continue to pray for people like you living in the UK with your small dreams, small cars, small houses, shared toilets, no Parking space, Meat counting in your soup when you have Visitors and the Constant bullying you face in the UK.

The UK is so Racist that the immigration goes into the buses and pick out those that LOOK foreign, to ascertain the status.

The other day on Youtube I saw Immigration randomly picking people that LOOKED different at Stratford Train Station to verify their status. Ever heard the WORD profiling? Let the Immigration try that in the United States and they will make a lot of people rich, but what do blacks like you in the UK like you do? Meekly say than God that's nor me.

Bottom line is, you guys in the UK are a bunch of JOKE and the sooner you guys realize that you are 5th Class Citizens, then the better.

I repeat, the UK is so RACIST, that it makes Russia look like a good vacation spot.
I believe you have said it all. A more balanced observation of the UK is needed and you have just done justice to it. To truly understand the UK, I emplore @everyone to read your post.

Happy new year all. I hope this time the mod wont delete my post.

Been there done that. The enemy you know is far better than the angel you just met, na people talk am o.

The US is far better and more open than the UK. US tell you to your face if they dislike you and you would notice from their reaction and gesture.

Now to the pretender of all.. the UK ofcourse. They are dangerous, vipers, haters and killer of dreams. They would laugh with you, tell you what you want to hear and even have a drink with you. But as soon as you turn your back, they hate your gut.

The UK racism is more subtle and hidden ( against the law to show hatred) but institutionalised. Their racism in visible at work and anything that has to do with govt.

Can a wife get pregnant without been intimate with her husband? Ofcourse YES...someone did it! My analogy might not be the most desirable, but think of the question and relate it to your question.

Ofcourse you can make heaven without going to Church. You are the Church (your body is the temple). You make heaven by accepting Jesus Christ and believing in him, and not by going to Church. Christians will quote "...don't neglect the assembly of the brethren" without knowing the meaning.

Not that I want to carry out the act or something, but I've had this thinking for a while now. As a Christian, I believe committing this act would amount to a sin. But the question is, is thinking suicidal also a sin?

ngozievergreen: This one said we should stop going abroad . smh.
u would have made sense but I know the context u are using to write.
Nonsense
Do we get stuck in overseas when we go there?
Dont we have igbos thay travel for business, academics, sports, recreation.
If u think igbos are going to join ur band wagon of lack of dynamism and adventure, then u must be high on sth.
Which successful entrepreneur stays in one place?
If quota system which doesn't favour SE is not scrapped, what will be ur basis for asking them to stay back in Nigeria.
U are looking for who to frustrate.
" which successful entrepreneur stays in one place" ...according to you

The above quote just shows how gullible you are my friend. May be you mean to say which criminal stays in one place! That would have justify your assertion.

We know what you people do in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy and the rest of the drug infested countries you travel to. You get killed almost everyday in these countriez for drug related crime, and you coming here boasting about your " entrepreneurship?"

You people are too dangerous for Nigeria, especially during Christmas. You go at any length to acquire wealth, killing and stealing just to please your wives and families. You even steal from your part dealers shop and transfer the loot to your own shop.

We know you, you money-monger, a.s.s-licking b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s

djon78: Why is it that anytime igbo is mentioned some of our bros from the west gets worked up. Let it be known to them that we igbos are unique, it is not chest beating. Nigeria has held the igbo man down, any day this nation is no more, you will see what igboland will turn to. The yorubas were first exposed to westernisatn late 1800 while the igbos were expose by 1920's but under 30years the igbos had produced leading elites like achebes, okigbos, akani ibiams, mbanefo, 1st black vc of unilag prof njoku and 1st vc of ui prof dike, it was only the civil war that drew us back. When i look across the black world not one nation stands out as bastion of development, suffice me to let u know that i see in igbo nation the fundamentals for great economic advancement, and if we can free ourselves from the clutches of Nigeria, maximum 10 years, the igbo nation will join the developed nations. Many of we blacks think that the greatest treasures of this our world is located in the oil and diamond fields no the greatest treasure is a refined and creative human mind, that is the source of the toyotas, apples, bmw's samsungs etc of this world.
I believe the people from the west demand sanity from their Igbo counterpart to just be Nigerians for once. Every one is unique but no man is an island. It is this your people's attitude and self-deluded mindset that is still plaguing them. Ofcourse you're fair in complexion but in no way white. You should come out from obscurity and embrace reality. Stop going abroad and enslaving yourselves just to please the white-man. Slave trade ended decades ago, why start one now ?

I am appalled by the bitterness you lot still hold against Nigeria. The world has changed, Nigeria has moved on, you got to move on or change with it. We are happy as people to have you lot around us and would surely miss you if you decide in the near future to part with our beloveth Nigeria. You guys are friendly, beautiful people and industrious. We want you to therefore harness that industrialism, energy and strength into making Nigeria that beautiful country you once adored and loved.

I love Igbo people!

That i travel to say USA and decide to speak my native language there is different frm an officially recognized country lanuage. Hausa and Yoruba might be official in some countries but not Equatorial Guinea.
Equatorial Guinea is in Central Africa, why so surprised of the recognition? Igbos are everywhere, and recently dominating every part of the major cities in the world, except ofcourse Nigeria. Stop running to everywhere like ashawo. Stay in your papas compound and make it better.
