The courage of this student should be commended. It is pity today that our students' union government open their eyes and education is being taken out of the reach of common man, where is their aluta continua stand. They claimed they want to remove oil subsidy to fund health, education, infrastructure etc, but yet they have increased university fees and still planning to introduce tuition. May Almighty God deliver us from wicked rulers we have as leaders. |
Poll23:Are you in Nigeria or outside Nigeria, because your statement shows that you are not current about political terrain in Nigeria, do you know how many legislators had been removed from office, for your information the first house of Rep speaker Salisu Buhari was removed from office because of this. Also governor Adeleke of Osun state was confirmed as winner only after he was cleared of certificate forgery, even former president buhari has to be cleared of the same offend, if a forger is parading himself as a elected official at any level, it means Nigeria has turned to banana republic where there is no law. So certificate forgery is part of ground for disqualification, be enlightened. |
Omokri, I say sounding Amen, to your pray, but on the other hand, if the man and inec manipulated the presidential election and come to power through lies, God will also disappoint them and expose them and take Nigeria to greater height, trough the real winner. I want you to also say sounding Amen. |
sreamsense:Those of you that are insincere and claiming that 110 Bivas is insignificant figure, have you forgotten that this is an election in which winner can be determined sometimes with just 10 vote apart. So110 polling unit is not statistical insignificant taken to account that 10 vote can make a winner to be emerged. |
We should not mind the man, he is desperately looking for job, all what he stole during Jonathan had been exhausted. That is why he opened his mouth to say this nonsense. By the way who told him this? or how did he come about this? someone who is a fugitive in foreign land is saying something he did not know, people are just waiting for what the government will do before they confront the government, for even if a sheep is pushed to the wall it will bite. |
twilliamx:I always pity those of you that are asking the poor Nigerians to make sacrifice for Nigeria. I would have like you to direct your appeal to our so called leaders, what sacrifice have they made? Is it the huge salaries and allowances or outrageous contract inflated prices? In the olden days all government officials are using the same official vehicle Peugeot (PAN) from Kaduna, today, how many of them from president to State governors are using innoson Motor or eating local rice in their respective government houses. It is masses that should make sacrifice, while they continue to live in affluent? If leaders cannot lead by example, I think there is no need for masses to make any sacrifice, after all, leaders are not super human, they are like me and you. They only have privilege of being a leader. |
WorldRichest:For your information, the time of your so called useless general seems to be preferred to your so called fake certificate holder accountant, from day one of the accountant reign, life of Nigerians masses have become miserable, prices of essential commodities gone up, we cant travel easily again because of outrageous transport cost, increase in tuitions for our children, while they increase their own salary by more than 100%. Now with all these evidence who is a useless person and senseless in governance. |
yarimo:Why cant you be objective, the 12 states won by Obi are all south east states or do states in south east 12? think of this and be objective, even your pay master who was declared winner also won 12 states without Abuja. |
The man must have been under drug influence. Those that manipulate election are not Nigerians who suppose to put the interest of our country first, but the deep pocket of someone blindfolded them to do other wise, which when they obliged to go to court, they cannot defend what they have done, and every document including the one emanated from them was opposed. Even former president went to court three times, nobody asked him to withdraw his case for Nigeria interest. Let wait until the case reaches supreme court. |
nairalanda1:Stop these lies, the same network that allow national assembly to be delivered, now bad to transmit that of president, even going by your analogy, the network is bad throughout the country at the same time for all network. Mr. Man find another lie, to defend your paymaster. |
Laple0541:You people are the reason why our government are misbehaving without human face in their decision in most cases. How would someone in his right sense say that because some people are taken our oil out or some people are scamming us through subsidy payments, then more than two hundred million Nigerians should face galloping inflation that result from subsidy withdrawals, even without palliative. If our oil are taking out, why did we have custom, or how many CGC of custom and immigration head or Dss head or IG of Police have been sack their complesit and corruption, the government is telling us that masses are to bear their incompetent attitude. If government that claimed 400 billions is to much to fund what benefit the entire population, can instruct CBN Governor to be paying 500 billion naira to a woman without impact on Nigerians, then what is justification of removing subsidy. The same border they claimed is porous was manned that even when the suspended CBN Governor wanted to use it to escape he was caught, but the same government cannot manned it to hinder the smuggling of our patrol in thousands of long vehicles daily, who is deceiving who? |
NLC should be careful with Gbaja, ASUU can tell NLC, about how the deceived them to return to work, but later informed them that he did not promise them anything. So they should not fall to his mischievous. |
Nigerian SUG government that is dancing with government should be impeached with immediate effect. How would somebody elected, not selected by government would sit down and eating and drinking with government that want to take education out of the reach of common man. Sowore is correct on this, and thank God he is not among the tribalistic people who are support the government blindly because of tribal sentiment. If Awolowo had not make education free in south west during his time, and Bola Ige and other governors in south west during their reign had not follow suit, many southwesterners would not have been educated today, and these are the people that claimed they are following Awolowo legacy. Those student that collect bribe to support this wicked policy will soon finish the money and their eyes will be opened. Because some people in this country felt that they can bribe their away to get away with whatever they want. This remind me of the prophecy of Adesina, that people will appreciate Buhari when he leases office, which has definitely come to pass in short distance, from day one of new administration masses had been subjected to untold hardship. |
oluwaseyi0:Are you people pay to write this or you are writing out of ignorance, if emefele can tell Nigerians that he paid a woman 500 billion naira every month, if former accountant general can fraudulently divert 120 billion, if 1.5 trillion and nearly ten million Dollars can be traced to public officer, if a person can rent Ethiopia air line for 139 billing naira etc. Then someone will now tell me that government have no money to fund education, hanger of God will definitely fall on such a person. |
Beverlyjean:I greed with you, but my conclusion is this, any government that will put more burden on poor Nigerians, God will forcefully remove that government from the sit of power, He knows how to do it. How would some one contemplating of introducing tuition fees to poor Nigerians. While government officials are embezzling trillions of naira on a daily bases, inflating concert price at will without consequence. Then the Nigeria masses have to pay for education. By the way, all this people that are postulating for the introduction of tuition now, let them tell Nigerians how much tuition they paid in their university days, if yesteryears leaders like Awolowo, Hamadu Bellow, Azikwe and orders are corrupt as they were then, they will not think of providing free education for their people, but because the interest of their people is paramount to then, they have to provide free education. We Nigerian masses say no to tuition introduction in our schools. |
These people have turned this country to where laws are not having any effect on the elite. Our law is only for poor. Justices are no long dispense judgment according to our laws. But let it be known to them that God the righteous judge who is not a respecter of any man is always there reverse all unrighteous judgment of men. |
CharleyBright:Totally in agreement with you, keyamo is desperately looking for another appointment. But as you said those people should not be trusted with any position, they will make everybody the enemy of their boss. |
Good one, more grease to your elbow, well done. |
Kyari is the most fraudulent nnpc MD, he is the reason why government want to remove subsidy, while nigerian is consuming about 35 million liters, kyari is corruptly claiming that we consumed 100 million liters, and he is deducting same from federation account. Then talking nonsense that price will be forced to come down when competition is involved, why is it that diesel and kerosene did not come down after subsidy remover, so it a fool like Kyari that will buy to that idea, and we did not see any development from money saved from kerosene and diesel subsidy. |
candyguyofficia:Are they going to put water in the vehicles, if price of fuel increases, even if they bring out thousands of velvet it will not have effect on masses because the price of transport will still be high with it multiplier effects on general prise level. |
Jogs1900:Are you in Nigeria at all when these things happened, the way you talk make me asked this question, or you have short memory or you are demential. The NLC leads protest and back it up with indefinite strike action, you now saying rubbish that NLC was not involved, go and ask your senator oshomole, he will lecture you. |
Hisbah:He started on faulty stand, which is an indication of failure already. |
frankson1:Why do you so ignorance about budget process, even if provision was not made, he cannot make supplementary budget and study the situation with adequate plan. Or if he needs something now, in which provision was not made for it, is he not going to send supplementary budget to care for that? |
Pipefitter:Agreed with you don't mind those who can think properly, past government want to remove it December, 2022, but because of fear of consequences, they postponed it till 1st July, now the budget that was made till June, where was it. Then those claiming ten billion Dollar, to be saved, where is the billion that was saved when diesel and kerosene subsidy were removed. Those who are pocketing that one are still there to pocket the so called 10 billion dollars . The money spent for delegate during primaries, the one yakubu collected and others must be recovered immediately. |
Jagabanarmy:How would someone with mindset of entitlement consult any one he is law to himself. |
Hhansome:Who do us this in this country because some cabals are scamming the govt through subsidy, I don't know why people like you are so shallow in your thinking, is it masses that must suffer their wickedness. Let all of them be sent to jail, and let know the actual cost of petrol subsidy before we will conclude whether its sustainable or not. That mele kyari is the number one criminal in this country, the MD who doesn't know the volume consumed but can demand 2.8 trillion as subsidy, is not worthy to be trusted with any position. How did he arrived at that figure. |
LeoDeKing:You that support this,I hope you are in Nigeria also, will we all see, how would those that corruptly enriched themselves, will tell us it is not sustainable, since mele kaiyari don't know the quantity of fuel we consumed, how did he then arrive at more than two trillion he claimed government owned him. God will judge all the corrupt politicians and their supporters. |
Etranshub:So you are one scamming us through dubious subsidy. All of you should first be arrested, the our scammed money be recovered from you, before talking of subsidy remover, thieves. |
HacheNoire:You people are you in your right senses, the amount being siphoned is much, is that a sensible argument, so they cannot trace those people arrest them and collect back our money, so those people are untouchable but masses must sacrifice and face hardship. Tinubi, oju ti yo ba bani kale, ki ti aro yo ipin oo |
Yourprick:If you people that cant think uprightly were argued that because of 8 months strike, they should not be paid, what of nnpc refinery workers who have not refine one drum of crude oil for the past 10 years but are receiving salaries, what would you do to them. |
SalamRushdie:This is exactly what I think, he has not sat down weigh and study the situation, no proper planning, and just announced first official policy. That is why we missed Yaradua, when Obasanjo increased fuel price in the name of removing subsidy at the eve of his administration, he came and reverse it back, the past government claim they cant fund subsidy, in which they don't even know how much fuel we consumed, but subsidy is charged, the question is how did they come about subsidy cost without knowing actual consumption, these are things that a reasonable leader must first do before making a pronouncement that makes lives more difficult. In Nigeria corruption and inefficiency of leaders are burned by the poor, those who corruptly enriched themselves through inflation of quantity of petroleum we consumed were not jailed to recover the money, but masses have to queue for long hours and buy at higher prices, because of their corruption. |
stanluiz:That is the problem with so called Nigeria leaders, they make policy pronouncement without deep taught and adequate planning. At the end, the masses whose mandate they stand will suffer. Do you know how much is the litre of NGO or kerosene in the market after the removal of subsidy, how many household are using kerosene today, I don't know why some elected leaders will be do arrogant to make a pronouncements that your protest will not make me stop subsidy remover, even before sworn in as president. I will wait for what will be the consequences on the masses, before further comments. |
