The courage of this student should be commended. It is pity today that our students' union government open their eyes and education is being taken out of the reach of common man, where is their aluta continua stand. They claimed they want to remove oil subsidy to fund health, education, infrastructure etc, but yet they have increased university fees and still planning to introduce tuition. May Almighty God deliver us from wicked rulers we have as leaders.

Is it the huge salaries and allowances or outrageous contract inflated prices? In the olden days all government officials are using the same official vehicle Peugeot (PAN) from Kaduna, today, how many of them from president to State governors are using innoson Motor or eating local rice in their respective government houses. It is masses that should make sacrifice, while they continue to live in affluent? Kyari is the most fraudulent nnpc MD, he is the reason why government want to remove subsidy, while nigerian is consuming about 35 million liters, kyari is corruptly claiming that we consumed 100 million liters, and he is deducting same from federation account. Then talking nonsense that price will be forced to come down when competition is involved, why is it that diesel and kerosene did not come down after subsidy remover, so it a fool like Kyari that will buy to that idea, and we did not see any development from money saved from kerosene and diesel subsidy.

Tinubu didn't announce the removal of subsidy because he didn't remove it himself but only stated that there was no provision for it.

This is exactly what I think, he has not sat down weigh and study the situation, no proper planning, and just announced first official policy. That is why we missed Yaradua, when Obasanjo increased fuel price in the name of removing subsidy at the eve of his administration, he came and reverse it back, the past government claim they cant fund subsidy, in which they don't even know how much fuel we consumed, but subsidy is charged, the question is how did they come about subsidy cost without knowing actual consumption, these are things that a reasonable leader must first do before making a pronouncement that makes lives more difficult. In Nigeria corruption and inefficiency of leaders are burned by the poor, those who corruptly enriched themselves through inflation of quantity of petroleum we consumed were not jailed to recover the money, but masses have to queue for long hours and buy at higher prices, because of their corruption.

Do you know how much is the litre of NGO or kerosene in the market after the removal of subsidy, how many household are using kerosene today, I don't know why some elected leaders will be do arrogant to make a pronouncements that your protest will not make me stop subsidy remover, even before sworn in as president. I will wait for what will be the consequences on the masses, before further comments.
