True. He definitely must be held accountable. He has to realize he needs the midrange now more than ever. We have been hitting him hard on that subject, but just maybe it's not something he's going to be elite at. Maybe he's never going to muster enough confidence to shoot it. I am sure he practices midrange shots, but in actual games he just can't garner enough confidence. I just hope he just becomes borderline good at it. That may just be enough. But sometimes you can't help yourself when the other all-star on your team goes 5-19. Like you said Middleton had enough bricks to rebuild the wall of China. . At a point in the game i felt really bad for him. In one play he tried to guard Lebron, and the guy just went round and layed it up. That game mayhave put Lebron ahead of him in the MVP case. And can someone tell Giannis to stop those 3s. I could here them hit the front of the rim Kplaiiiiiiin. ![]() Roland17: |
He better bring it against Kawhi on sunday (ET). ![]() iamJ: |
That is a recurring problem. I hope this does not become his undoing, late in the playoffs, again. Roland17: |
Kerr better play him on minute restrictions. . No joke at all.SmooshCHN: |
The field big ooo. En. |
After how many games? We are talking about the likelihood here. I was hoping you would bring this up. Do you even understand the meaning of "that's for sure|". Lebron's team sucked last season even with him, over a large sample size, so own it. We presented statistical facts that say the Lakers would have likely missed the Playoffs with Lebron. How can you come to terms with the fact that the Lakers lost 12 out of 15 games when he was playing. Your king can have a bad season. . He's human. As it turns both cases are not comparable circumstantially. steady986: |
Probably yes. Why are you insisting on the 4th place which was the case only after 34 games. That was not even halfway through the season. When he came back what happened? Do we not know that they lost 12 out of 15 straight games when he returned, even despite declaring play off LeBron after the all star break. . Can you extrapolate that result please? They only began considering sitting him for the rest of the season when they fell out out of play-off contention. So it's a strong yes. There's a high probability they would have missed the playoffs if he hadn't missed those games earlier due to injury. chic2pimp: |
Hahahahaha. If their first round match up goes to 7 games, then their matchup against the clippers, if it ever happens will end in less than 7 SmooshCHN: |
Sometimes it's just better to keep the truth to oneself. That launch by Giannis was quite the jab. Perhaps Giannis was joking when he made the "i need someone that can pass statement" but it definitely hit home. . Harden's reply definitely hit home too. Someone interviewed Giannis, and it was obvious he felt the Jab. . But honestly it's hard to Judge tall players vs relatively shorter players. Perhaps it comes down to what you can do that most players at your position or with similar height and size cannot do, or what you consistently fail to do in critical moments.A40: |
Careful man, you are hitting some tables. They will definitely find an excuse for the loss. They are probably watching the full game right now, checking if Lebron at any point in the game pointed towards his Groin or AD towards his back, hand, head, elbow e.t.c. . Or perhaps they are retaining their energy for the postseason, they are still at the top anyway. chic2pimp: |
You clearly wrote: MTN argued. In which article was that stated? If that was even the case, what the hell does not transferring the absolute right of ownership mean? Was the ownership partially transferred? Was the guy informed about such a transfer? You are obviously taking a side here, while the story is still developing. This is clearly a case of the rich and powerful harassing a common man. Why won't the bullies establish communication with MTN first? and if there was any we would like to know if the information provided by MTN led to his arrest. Given the level of impunity in Nigeria, i doubt this case was handled fairly in the first place. Bunch of clueless leaders and sycophants. tsephanyah: |
True, but in cases like this the foreigners sometimes have ulterior motives. It's hard to tell if they genuinely offering to help. hisexcellency34: |
How about this. Liverpool fans never existed until now. ![]() Theboss100: |
There's really nothing you can do. If he will give you, he will. Only patience with sense can help ya. . Given that he lied that he's sent the money, i can only advice you not to do anymore assignments until he sends you thev previous.Mrshape: |
Oh i now understand the source of your bitterness.Pele ooo. Where you go school self? So we should now judge the overall usefulness of VAR based on our match. Did VAR not help you agaisnt wolves? I mean what kind of argument is this. Stats says that as at 1st January, we have both had 4 VAR decisions in our favour. Teams like tottenham, southampton, Leicester e.t.c have had more. One might think that given your suggestion that MAN U has benefitted the most from VAR, you actually know what you are talking about. It is clear that you think that because the decision came against you, we must have had a lot of them. That is as bogus as it gets. Why not get the Stats first, then make your argument? Theboss100: |
What bullshit truth. What do we care who benefits from it. The question is, has it mostly been correct with its conclusions? What is it with your disdain for progress? We are moving on. The sooner you accept the new reality the better for you. Offside by a hair is offside nonetheless. A handball in the lead up to a goal is a foul nonetheless. Theboss100: |
Was Ronaldo unaware of the "low-scoring" character of Juventus? So what is the point? Stop bringing it up. Your last sentence though. Nobody is here to make you believe. We all want to achieve success in different ways, so if you wanna compare at all, it has to be their successes, even though i don't support this, A lot of factors can play a role in success, which includes your environment. But honestly, i don't even think you really understand some of the arguments you have put forth. What does it mean to break past achievements? Doesn't it mean the setting of new records? Your explanation of the reason why he doesn't make front page as frequently as possible is therefore invalid. I could also argue that hopping from one host to another like some prostitute is the reason why Ronaldo makes front page more frequently. Who doesn't want free goods? Or perhaps he believes he just cannot match Messi, so perhaps hopping around will help him make a case. ![]() suzzyboss: |
Someone cannot want to maintain a connection with his roots again. Does there have to be an ulterior motive in everything? Of all the reasons, this is the only one you could think of. You must have given a lot of thought to this before reaching such a pessimistic conclusion. I hope you apply such brainstorming to your life. Progress would be a very difficult thing for you if you keep doing this, cos in your perspective, for every failure or success the western world is always behind it. I pray for your soul Omo Iya. Liverpool dominating possession so far, but that final breakthrough just eludes them. They better not concede another cos these Athletico guys are not here to joke. |
Patience. Patience. What kind of shot was that Thomas. ATM players getting better organized and exploiting those spaces well. |
That was close. |
Bruno always finding Maguire. |
I agree with your assessment of Martial. He's lazy and it's about time he sits. But you can't help it when Rashford is hurt. Even though i think Martial plays better with Rashford. Angelfrost: |
Manage? Can he control injuries? Angelfrost: |
I thought everyone was saying team LeBron would outscore team Giannis by at least 60 points. ![]() |
Well you can't blame some of us for the foolishness or ignorance of others. And you provided a context. "When you were told as a kid". Some of the teachings of our religious leaders, sunday school teachers inclusive are flawed. It's disappointing that some of these bad interpretations are passed down from one generation to another. On the subject of Babel, it was the intention of the people to build the tower until it reaches the heavens. I would assume they believed the heavens were the clouds. Now then comes the question of what's the reach of the firmament above us?. The idea that heavens were immediately above the clouds wasn't a truth statement, it was an opinion probably based on false interpretation of existing knowledge or the assimilation of a knowledge which is false by itself. An that opinion has obviously been proven wrong given scientific advancements. Now was that the opinion of God? I think not. Otherwise his status of creator is in question. The bestowal of knowledge is contextual. I believe in the acquisition of knowledge that is the right "size" for our current experience at any moment in time. If your mind is not adequately nimble enough to house a certain knowledge, then you don't deserve it. Of what use will the knowledge of let's say an expanding universe be for a bunch of people running around plucking fruits from trees? Again there are mysteries about God, it's my duty- i odn't know what you believe-to make sense of the knowledge available. Infact some of what we have are just interpretations of Knowledge passed down. The question of how close these interpretations are to the actual significance of "a" knowledge is something we will have to labour to answer. fyneboi79: |
You have made an argument which is quite controversial and subjective. While I agree that God is all-knowing, opining that everything is God's plan is a subjective statement. It depends on what you call a plan. Personally, i believe a plan must include the consequences of any action whichever direction the action takes. Some may think that a plan should consist of your objectives, in the case of God, everything that is, must be according to his plan. An important consideration when discussing the subject of God's plan is Man's free will. There's a cost for having free will. Live with the consequences of your actions. in fact there are layers of the subject of "action and consequences". Doing the same things under different circumstances may not have the same consequences. if God forces everything on us, i.e, Lagbaja must do this, then the existence of free will goes straight out of the window. Again what your free will entails may vary under different circumstances. As a Christian for example, you had the free will to choose, and this choice in a way limits other aspects of your free will. You cannot do so so and so. So as we exercise our free will in one aspect, other aspects may change. And of course there are still some aspects of God that are mysterious. My 2kobo. Ausrichie: |
